This show was AMAZING! It’s a must see if you enjoy good music & definitely if you a PRINCE fan! Bam :-)
The Prince part of the show was very good, but half of the showtime was music and skits from Morris Day, Prince’s nemesis from Purple Rain. Short show performance time. Would have liked to see and hear more classic hits songs sung by Prince. Felt short changed from the lack of Tribute to Prince!
Every Prince fan should see this show! I’ve seen it 10 times and gets better every time…
Great show, great musicians almost the real deal. Coming from someone who’s seen the man live several times. Would definitely recommend it and even see it again
The show lacked playing many of Prince top hits. There were several songs that the audience did not seem to know. Some of the scenes from the movie could be avoided. People come to hear music not the hear mama jokes by the entertainment. The costumes and music was on point throughout the show.
It was a good show reproduction of the movie. The group was on point. Buy the VIP tickets. Comes with a waitress for the bar and room to get up and dance!
Would not recommend this show. They did not do justice to Prince or his music. The preforms expressed their displeasure with the small crowd reaction to their performance, understandably. The show started pretty late for the older Prince fans, which was most of the audience. Wearing masks at a concert and being social distanced does not help the audience show appreciation for even a great show. Saw Motown the next night, started at 5:30, had very enthusiastic performers, same age and much more enthusiastic crowd.
Ok so i was at the 12/29/21 show and i was blown away from the preshow music to the end of the show This show rocks but good lord the crowd that night SUCKED and you could tell that the band felt the same there were a small amount that were in a party mood , the lead singer he has everything about Prince down packed and he and his band rocked it ohhh they were so good you think it were backing tracks and the guys that were Morris Day and Jerome Benton were good also.I say if you go to the show go tipsy or really ready to party cause a lam crowd brings this show down badly
For the cost of the tickets, you could have at least thrown in couple drink vouchers or light hors-d’oeuvres. Also, make sure you have seating to match the number of tickets sold. Not right that people paying the same amount on a ticket are left standing while others have a seat at a table. Over priced tickets. Entertainment was fine, but for the ticket price I was expecting more
This was a great show. The musicians were wonderful and engaging. The balloon drop and champagne were so exciting. I loved how beautiful the set and ballroom were decorated.
Both the bands were so good! They made the ball a blast!
Very good show. We had preferred seating. Selected our seats. The Time was also a very good act. Purple Reign was very good.? I recommend the show 110%
The Prince performer and the two other guitarists were great. Sadly the show included far too few Prince hits. The energy and momentum of the first 3-4 songs was broken by the silly comedy duo. Audiences don’t go to a Prince show to see Abbott & Costello. They were such a distraction and irritation. Dump the obscure songs. Just give us solid Prince classics. Some small changes would hugely improve the show. Add the Prince song “The Cross.” Thank you.
Ok it was 4 of us that went to see this show. We all was so excited because each one of us were huge Prince fans and saw and knew alot about him and his show. I agree with the previous person that it was a person looking like Prince highligting stripper. Morris Day and Jerome made the show for us. The music, the band was awesome but the so call Prince and the strippers could have stayed home. The Michael Jackson Review was a trillion times better. Im so disappointed that they disrespect Prince like this. Then the end of the show the guy had the nerve to try and sell his CD. Are you serious I went to see and remember Prince, not watch a guy who looks a little like Prince try to sell his CD and spotlight strippers.
My sisters and I saw the show on 20 Nov and had a wonderful time. The leads were all excellent and the band is extremely talented.
Personally this show did a lot for me. The band and performers loved my energy and let me know how much they appreciated it. Every performer is talented and amazing! Jason is a legend! After 16 years of waiting to see this show, all I have to say is wow. Incredible. Worth the wait. This show filled a void in my heart. Much love and respect to all of the performers. Thank you!
The show is great and all the entertainers performances were excellent. The only downside is the venue at the Tropicana Hotel. The staff waits to open the doors so we were standing in line on the casino floor and then our tickets ended up being general admission seats.
Great show! Jason Tenner was spot on and very talented. The band and the rest of the entertainers are also very talented. My husband and I enjoyed the music and it brought back great memories. If you are a Prince fan, it is a must see. I highly recommend it! I felt like I was in the presence of the real Prince. At the end of the show, I felt sad to realize Prince is no longer with us. The performance was a 5 star, but the venue drops it to a 4 star. It was hard to find parking and there was no valet. They open the doors 10 minutes before the show starts and it is first come first serve for the seats. This show deserves a better venue.
We were definitely skeptical cause Prince is one of a kind and it's hard to think someone can recreate his music. We were amazed how well it was, my friend cried the entire concert cause it seemed so real. 10 out of 10
