Easy access. Friendly staff. Plenty of leg room. Comfortable seats.
Enjoyed the venue and Pure Prairie League put on a great show. The sound was excellent and the band played all their hits focusing on their first two albums. They finished with Amy which had the crowd up and singing with the band. After having the show rescheduled three times due to Covid it was worth the wait!
Pure prairie league is still able to do an amazing show after all these years. I took my 13 year old daughter to the show as her first ever concert. It was well worth it. They still sound amazing.
From the moment you walk in the venue to the time you leave you'll think you've went back in time. Pure Prairie League was awesome. The venue is small and personal. No crazy crowds or tightly packed seats. The sound was perfect and the concession stands moved quickly allowing time to relax before the show. We will be going back again and again. An experience everyone should enjoy!
Very talented group of musicians - great songs - great vocals...love them!!
Enjoyed the evening and music .. Pure Prairie League sound as good as ever! Thank you!
PPL gave an incredible performance. Their vocals were just as strong as 40 years ago. The band are all skilled musicians and all but one are original members. It was such a fun evening. I was a young adult when they came on the music scene and it was a night of reminiscing for me. My Husband wasn’t familiar with their music (with the exception of Amie) and he thought it was one of the best shows he has ever seen. So PPL, if you read this review, get yourself booked back at Southwest Florida Event Center so I can see you again.
It was our 4 year celebration of Glenn 's liver. Pure Prairie League was fantastic!! We love this venue, the set up, the staff! It has an intimate feel. Pure Prairie League is as good as if not better than when I saw them decades ago!
I've been following Pure Prairie Legue since 1970. Through multiple member changes, Mike Reilley has kept the group going in one form or another since 1972. Truly a classic mid western group from Cincinnati. The Rose dropped the ball on our food order, but a quick throw recovery by the manager made the food experience worth the trouble. I can only recommend this venue and the band as home run...... Fred C
There comes a time ... when it’s time to hang it up. That time is now for PPL. They sounded okay at times and even jammed a bit and brought a few old songs to life. But there were inside jokes and banter between EVERY song, and they simply weren’t funny or entertaining. They kept talking trying to be funny and that just made it worse. Made the set very slow. People started leaving. Unfortunate. There comes a time .... To be clear, Canyon Club is amazing and always gets 5-stars — this review was about Pure Prarie League’s performance.
both bands played a really tight set. unfortunately Justo, ARS vocalist and an original member was missing from ARS band. found out later he had surgery on his vocal chords. dont remember seeing on website or venue that he wasn't playing. vocalist who filled in for him was decent. enjoyable fun show, ARS original member Dean Daughtry and PPL had John David Calll & Mike Reilly. all great guys and got to meet them after the show which really was cool. Birchmere is a great venue for live music
S creaming guitars and tuneless noise. We left after two numbers by the second group. The salmon was very good.
Fantastic night of music! Took me back to my younger days. Husband was ecstatic to get Pure Prairie League's autographs on his T-shirt. And we were both thrilled to be able to do a meet and greet with ALL of them beforehand. All 4 groups sounded pretty much as they did back in their heyday. Had a WONDERFUL time!
What a great show! 3 hours of incredible music for an unbelievable price. Pure Prairie League, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Poco, and Firefall were superb, playing their classics from the last 40 years. The bands sounds have aged like a fine wine.
Enjoyed concert and we had great seating for the event.
4 bands for the low price of $10!! Awesome enough in itself - Pure Prairie League, Poco, Atlanta Rythem Section and Firefall were all fantastic - loved the concert - hats off to the Hall County Fair for putting on such a great lineup!!!!!!!!!!!
This was an amazing concert. All the bands still know how to rock. Atlanta Rhythum Section, Firefall, POCO, and Pure Prairie League all sounded great. Good to time travel and go back to the days of great music.
This concert consisted of Pure Prairie League, Atlantic Rhythm Section, Firefall and Poco. Performers were energetic and fun. They all sounded great and gave us all their major hits. Totally enjoyed myself.
First time at the Florida Theatre. Thought it was a beautiful old theatre with amazing design. With that said I thought the show was only average. All of the bands sounded a little loud and the sound was more blaring than clear. Not sure if it was the bands fault or the sound system. We hope yo return there someday to see another group of our choice.
