  • Way better then I thought

by Lolangus on 11/18/17Count Basie Theatre - Red BankRating: 4 out of 5

My first exposure was on AGT. His live show was way different then just singing. It was very well done and a lot of fun with the audience participation and the added video content.

  • I wish I could give an infinity star rating...

by Amalthea on 11/18/17Count Basie Theatre - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

I'm a big fan of Puddles (and Mike Geier) but this was my very first Pity Party, so I was REALLY excited. I'd never been to the Count Basie Theater before and my visit didn't leave me disappointed. The venue is beautiful, there was a lot of parking available nearby (in municipal lots and on the streets; I found a spot right around the corner) and the staff was incredibly friendly... especially a particularly warm and funny lady named Sue who showed me to my seat. Can't forget the hysterical bathroom attendant lady, either, who kept things light-hearted with everyone standing in the long, post-show bathroom line. Really, really friendly staff in general. And even friendlier fans! I've been to a lot of concerts, but Puddles fans are a special breed. I was by myself and knew no one, but people were chatting with me left and right. It was a wonderful atmosphere. And then, of course, out came PUDDLES! The moment this man opened his mouth, I melted into my seat. His voice sounds like chocolate mousse tastes. Just warm and rich and soothing and... like heaven on Earth really. Without spoiling the show for those who haven't been to a Pity Party yet, you'll laugh and cry and even the clownphobic will fall head-over-heels in love with this big, cuddly clown with the sad face and golden voice. Puddles's stage presence is spell-binding and his voice gives goosebumps on every available inch of skin. He is AMAZING. I can't praise him enough. He will leave you breathless. Sometimes with laughter, sometimes with bittersweet reverie, sometimes with too many emotions to sort through at once... but it feels incredible. Afterwards, if you want to brave the long line of admirers, he hangs around for hugs and photos. I got both. Puddles gives great cuddles and sweetness radiates from him like a warm sunbeam. Up close, he has long eyelashes and very pretty-colored eyes. They look brown in photos, but have obvious undertones of green and gold when you see them in person. He is an extremely sweet human being and I'm still on Cloud 9 from having been blessed enough to be part of such a wonderful night. Thanks Puddles and Count Basie Theater. :)

We had such a great time! We laughed, smiled & even almost cried..I loved how he tied everything together in his show from right before he got on stage until he was finished. Audience participation added even more fun! Puddles voice is amazing! The creativity with the songs choices & how he performed them was outstanding! He was even better than we expected!

Seeing what Puddles does online and in AGT is a small portion of what he does in his act. Absolutely hilarious as well as talented. Very interactive with the crowd as he is constantly getting us to sing along and participate in his show. Very fun and I would highly recommend it to a friend or go again myself!

  • Original and memorable!

    by CSniezek72 on 11/16/17The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Puddles Pity Party was a multimedia delight, incorporating video, slide shows, physical comedy, audience participation, and of course incredible singing. There's really nothing like it, and I was entertained from start to finish ( and even beforehand, since the pre-show music played into the themes of the show itself ).

  • Puddles was perfection

by Lizzielizzie on 11/16/17The Wilbur - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

My score is based on the venue, not the performer. They really cram you in up front at this venue, but once the show starts, you don't care. Puddles brought the goods and put on a fantastic show! Stay for the Meet and Greet afterward arts (which is really just a photo op) - make sure whoever took you pics took ones in focus...mine were all blurry. (My pic is the view from Section B, row 1)

  • A night of laughter

My husband loves America's Got Talent and he fell in love with Puddles' act. When we went to go see him in person it was so much more than what he did on the show. He wasn't just a singer, he was a comedian and he did a lot of crowd interaction. It was amazing and I would definitely go and see him again!

  • Pure entertainment!!!

One of the best shows I have attended in a long while. Puddles was amazing. You truly don't get a sense of who he is through watching him on America's Got Talent. Not only does he have a golden voice but he's hilariously funny and engaging with the audience. I would see him again and again!

We saw the Sad Clown with the Golden Voice at the Wilbur Theater in Boston On November 13, 2017. What a GREAT show! Puddles mixed comedy, pathos, amazing vocals and audience interaction for 90 amazing minutes! The after-show line to meet him was too long and we had to get home, but NEXT time I’m staying to get a “Puddles Cuddle”!! I highly recommend seeing his show!

  • Fabulous show, Amazing voice

Puddles Pity Party will have you laughing from the depths of your belly. He's a silent clown with a powerful, melancholy voice that will take you by surprise. Take your chewing gum and be prepared for fun.

Took our 16 year old son along with dear friends to see Puddles. We had an absolute blast. Puddles is unbelievably talented and he knows how to put on a show. The best part was seeing our dog Willy in the slide show. Perfect night
