    Priscilla was fabulous!

Loved it. Although definatley not for children (Unless you want to do a lot of explaining) it is a great ride for adults. I have not laughed this loud or this much in a long time.

    Priscilla rocks!

by Deakaff on 3/25/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

Priscilla is Queen of the Desert and the stage. Super fun show with amazing talent, music and costumes. Priscilla (the bus) 'her'self is amazing, too. I liked the character development and the family moments, too.

Lot's of fun - very entertaining!

by keithchicago on 3/25/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

We really enjoyed the Chicago presentation of Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical! One of us had seen it last year in NYC on Broadway and was disappointed we both didn't get to see it together -- so glad it stopped by Chicago! The production was meaningful, well done, LIVE music was fantastic with the orchestra and really enjoyed Scott Willis, I thought he did a fantastic job playing Bernadette. Too bad the show is only in Chicago for 9 days because I would probably like to see it again!

Well. I've never met a musical I didn't like However I'm 60 and went with my twenty year old daughter I had bought the tickets for a musical revue. I didn't get "Queen" of the desert. And what that meant. I sort of felt it was like Mama Mia, Le cage aux follies, And victor Victoria in one. The talent was incredible. The singing and dancing broadway caliber. The best were costumes and sets. The Aussie humor was also good once u got used to it. But first act for me was a bit lewd. Wasn't expecting it. Glad things toned. Down in the second act. The message of all kinds of people should be accepted and loved came thru in second act . The father/son acceptance was sweet if a bit naive So I guess my overall rating is really more of a three. Recommend it to friends who are"wild and crazy guys"

    lighting issues

    by seeker709 on 3/25/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

I saw this show in New York...energy level there was higher than chicago's show. The costumes are great but the lighting (especially in the first act) did little to show off the brightness and creativity of them...

Priscilla is a fun show to see

    by drr2538X on 3/24/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

Priscilla is not a top Broadway show but its a fun way to spend an evening. The outfits worn by the actors were great and the show moves at a good pace. Most of the songs are old disco music so it brings back old memories hearing these tunes.

I loved the costumes. It was amazing how the performers could dance in them. The songs brought back memories of my dancing days.

Must see. If you love great dancing/dance music from late 70's early 80's, this is the show for you. Wonderful music and performances!

    Brings New Meaning to Queen

by Medillian on 3/24/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

The week had been arduous and I needed it to end on a cheery and joyous note. Thank you, Priscilla. Spectacular in, well, every way. Better than any drag show x 10. Fantastic costumes and headpieces, beautiful women (I think 3 actually were), a central set feature -- an amazing bus -- and the three principal cast members who were Divine. And the story continues to be heartwarming. And who doesn't like lyp-syncced disco and Madonna tunes? Rush to the Auditorium Theater to be wowed -- before the bus packs up with his cast, crew and costumes and leaves the Windy City on March 31.

    Priscilla was disappointing.

by Maxinejr on 3/23/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

The music was good, story weak and sets nothing to write home about. I was disappointed. They were pretty creative with costume changes for one number.

Priscilla is a fun spirited uplifting show!

by ZcardsFan on 3/23/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

I've seen the show twice in two cities over the past month and I would continue to go again and again! The performers are phenomenal! The songs are perfectly matched to the story line and the costumes are outrageous! I love it I love it I love We also purchased the VIP tickets for the suite for drinks and apps for an additional $35 per person and it was a major disappointment. The bartender customer service was great but the appetizers consisted of two mini sandwichs and cauliflower on a tray. This venue does not understand the meaning of VIP. I loved the show but was extremely disappointed in the venue. Employee customer service was great from the door ticketing agent to the host and ushers - A+ to all of them!

    Just OK

    by Arthur2990 on 3/23/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

This was just an average production. It was slow in places and its hard to make a bus ride interesting. All the extra musical numbers performers didn't add much.
