  • Sound

by GOGO on 4/20/25Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 3 out of 5

The sound was very low. Front orchestra and could barely hear the dialogue from actors. Music & singing were a little better. Not happy with the acoustics / sound.

Easy to find seats, plenty of ushers. Elevator is difficult to use for long wait. Best show in a while. Parking was wonderful!!

  • Talented cast!

by Mrreview on 4/20/25Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely enjoyable night with talent galore. The songs were beautiful and sung with powerful voices. Kept pretty close to the movie yet had a nuance of its own. The peabody venue was good acoustically, but 2 restrooms is absolutely ridiculous.

  • Not the best night

by Ginger on 4/20/25Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 3 out of 5

The production was very nice. The sound/volume was not. I have very good hearing, and I had to strain to hear words clearly (we were in Orchestra seats). I don't see attending an event here again. This theater offers refreshments like a movie theater. I didn't enjoy hearing people munch on popcorn, candy, or popping open beer cans, set them on the floor and have them roll down under my seat. Nice that there are refreshments for those wanting some but, maybe not during performances, this wasn't a loud "movie"that would block out this noise.

  • Musicals are a breath of fresh air

by Margie B. on 3/25/25American Bank Center Selena Auditorium - Corpus ChristiRating: 5 out of 5

Great music, dancing, singing, laughter and much joy with all the talented performers. I love dressing up for these type of events. We need more of the same for middle age and senior folks who love to dress up and enjoy a great show.

  • Amazing and Funny

Had an amazing time watching this musical. It was great and entertaining-my kids loved it too (they are involved in high school theatre, so they were able to learn and pick up from the actors)

  • Worth it, but meh

by KC on 3/21/25McAllen Performing Arts Center - McAllenRating: 4 out of 5

Totally worth going, it was funny and the stage was great. The nostalgia alone is worth it. The main characters are terribly written and it frustrated me. Vivian was never an air-head bimbo. Edward was never a love struck "she can change me"man. Bernard and the Bell Hop 100% make this show a hit. Also, a production this size couldn't get the rights to the original soundtrack?

The show was great and the entire cast did an awesome job. Did not know how they were going to create all the scenes from the movie, but did a really good job of it!

I prepaid parking and it was easy access to parking. The musical was fun. The actors did a great job with singing and acting. The costumes took me back to the movie. I was singing the songs while driving home.
