Powerwolf on Tour

Head-banging metal meets fantasy in the epic music creation by the German-based band, Powerwolf. Powerwolf's almighty guitar work, vigorous drums and commanding vocals mixed with themes like religion, demons, vampires, and werewolves create an otherworldly experience. The group consists of guitarist Matthew Greywolf (Benjamin Buss), bassist Charles Greywolf (David Vogt), keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel (Christian Jost), drummer Roel van Helden, and vocalist Attila Dorn (Karsten Brill). Following the release of their 2022 album, The Monumental Mass: a Cinematic Metal Event, Powerwolf commenced their 2022 European tour, making stops in Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Czechia, and Poland. Donning ghoulish makeup during their performances, Powerwolf's shows are filled with pyrotechnics as the booming voice and undeniably legendary instrumentals encompass every fan lucky enough to see them live. First emerging in the music sphere with their debut album, Return in Bloodred in 2005, Powerwolf has continued to create a slew of classic metal hit albums, including Lupus Dei (2007), Bible of the Beast (2009), Blood of the Saints (2011), Alive in the Night (2012), Preacher of the Night (2013), Blessed & Possessed (2015), Metal Mass: Live (2016), The Sacrament of Sin (2018), Call of the Wild (2021), and The Monumental Mass: a Cinematic Metal Event (2022).

Powerwolf Live in Concert

Perhaps the most successful metal band in Germany, Powerwolf was formed in 2003 by Benjamin Buss and David Vogt. The founders added Falk Maria Schlegel and former drummer Stéfane Funèbre shortly after. With all the instrumentals covered, Buss and Vogt aggressively searched for a lead singer, discovering the passionate fantasy enthusiast, Karsten Brill, in Romania. With the band fully formed, they quickly signed a deal with Napalm Records, releasing their debut album under the label. The band then signed with Metal Blade Records for North American releases. Funèbre's final album with the band was Bible of the Beast, and Helden was added to Powerwolf's lineup for their next album. Powerwolf gained immense popularity in the mid-2010s, gaining gold status on back-to-back albums, Blessed & Possessed (2015) and The Sacrament of Sin (2018), with the single, "Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend," off The Sacrament of Sin going Platinum. With more than 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and top tracks "Army of the Night," "We Drink Your Blood" and "Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend" combining for more than 137 million streams, it's no surprise Powerwolf is still one of the most iconic metal bands in Germany and in the world.

  • Unbelievable

    by Ganesh A on 10/3/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the show. Army of the Night performance live was life changing

  • Very fun, very nice people

by The Autistic One on 10/3/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It was really fun seeing them perform in person. I was a bit overwhelmed at the end because of the crowd but there were some very nice people there to help look after me. The music was great! Dragon force was delightfully nerdy. Their song about Zelda was my favorite. Powerwolf was amazing! Loved Falk and Attila’s dance and I loved the part where Attila turned the audience into a choir. I hope the come back soon. I would love to see them again.

  • The stage presence is ridiculous

by Gothic Wolf on 10/3/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I bought these tickets because of hearing a few of their songs on Pandora and they were coming to my town. The venue was one I hadn't been to before so I didn't know what to expect, I just knew the music would be great. I was not disappointed. Their sound, immaculate. Their stage presence, insane. I may not have known all the words but I was fully engaged the entire time.

  • POWERWOLF!!!

by JF on 9/30/25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Powerwolf hasn't been to Houston, so I decided to go to them in Calgary and make a vacation out of it. The venue at Grey Eagle Casino was the perfect size - somehow, after waiting in the hour long trek to get a Powerwolf concert shirt, we got decently close to the stage. When the show started, I was whisked away to my happy place! I'd never seen Powerwolf live and they did not disappoint! Please come to Texas next tour - I'll spread the gospel of Powerwolf until then!! :)

  • My favorite concert experience.

by Some Jarhead on 9/26/25GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

I filed for divorce 4 weeks ago and when I went to the concert it was just me with two tickets. I didn't even know Dragon force was playing and I heard new songs from them (they were awesome). After the powerwolf show, I was rejuvinated in a way i mever expected. I never thought I would feel this good again. It was a great show. The best concert experience of my life so far. Another great part of the show, was that the venue wasn't packed. The lines for the bathroom were short, and so were the lines for another beer! The staff were fantastic and helpful.

  • One of the best shows I've been to

  • Powerwolf was awesome

by gurenmkd on 9/24/25REBEL - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

For their first time in Canada, I felt fortunate to be able to see them live. Lots of theatrics and crowd engagement. Dragonforce was my 2nd time seeing them and they were as awesome as always. Wish they kept playing for longer.

  • Most fun I've had in years
