    PowerShares Tennis Event

    by Tonny1 on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

I would recommend this Only with reservations: This was largely a staged event for entertainment in the same way WWE is staged. Each player was allowed to show their skills, and for those moments it was a learning environment for those wanting to see those levels of skill. However, why sell the large tennis balls meant for autographs if these old pros don't (and did not) have the time to give signatures.to the my child and others with the same dream?

    Need Audio

    by Capone01 on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

Enjoyed seeing the greats play tennis again. HOwever, if you are not sitting immediately courtside (we were 5 rows up), you could not hear any of the banter between the fans and players. For most of the match, it felt very average to be sitting there. The players need to somehow wear mics to pick up what is being said out on the court. Also, there was NOT ONE Hawk Eye review, which tells me the technology was not available to use. There were many times it could have been utilized.

We had seats five rows up from the floor near the net line. It was amazing to be so close to the players, hear their comments and see everything.

    Worth the price!

by GafFAN on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

We had front row court side tickets and they were worth the price!!! It was so fun to be right there watching these guys play-and being able to hear the banter back and forth made it more fun---just go, you will have a blast!!!

    Tennis pros

by Pbur on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

I gifted my husband with these tickets for Christmas! We had a blast at the event! A rare opportunity to get up close to these fantastic athletes. They were relaxed and fun to watch, interacting with the crowd frequently! The staff of the Amway are extremely courteous and pleasent and this has been our experience every time we've attended an event! My only complaint is that having done all i could to secure the "best seat" for mh husband- center court on the net- we sat down to have two large tv cameras directly in front of us! Nowhere was there any indication or adjustment for the obstructed view when buying the tickets! Despite this, we gad a great time and i hope more people will support this event in the future!

    Great Tennis

by MrsPin on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

We enjoyed the PowerShare's tennis event in Orlando. We sat in a very close row. Seeing the pace of serves and play gave us an even greater appreciation of the four players. One comment would be to have microphones that pick up the players bantering and comments to the fans. We could not hear what was said at the other side of the court. Thank you to Jim Courier, John McEnroe, James Blake and Andy Roddick.

    Good Event

by StuckonTennis on 1/8/17Amway Center - Orlando

This was our second time seeing a PowerShares event, and just as enjoyable this time as last. It is so much fun seeing the stars of yesteryear - well Andy is certainly not that old - how they hit the ball, strategy, etc. The players also had verbal interaction, but it certainly would have been a better experience for all if somehow they could be miked. The people in the front rows could hear what they wear saying, but if you sat farther back, you might hear snipets to understand the general gist of the conversation. What was poor was Ticketmaster sent the event information such as doors open at, parking, other venue information ONE HOUR before the doors were to open. As we live 1 1/2 hrs away, that information did us absolutely no good as we were already on the road. It would have been more beneficial if sent out the day before the event. Amway Center was a great venue. Disappointing was that the restaurants in Amway were not open to the public, only the concession stands.

    Entertaining

We had a good time. The players were playful, not like real matches, made it entertaining.

    Power Share Tennis

    by 49erkurt on 11/7/16Moda Center - Portland

My very 1st professional tennis exhibition. I had a fantastic time watching my favorite players compete. I was surprised how much game they all had after being retired. John McInroe & Andy Roddick were my favorites. They both put on a great show & John is in fantastic shape at his age. Funny that Roddick complained a lot more than McInroe. LOL. I will most definitely return & bring my friends next year when they return. My center court 200 level seats were very affordable too. Thank you Ticketmaster.

A great venue featuring top pros from the past, battling it out, catcalling each other while entertaining and interacting with the crowd. We loved it!

    Tennis legends exhibit

by racquetfan on 11/7/16Moda Center - Portland

Great way to exhibit former tennis legends. However needs to be more promotion of reasons for exhibition tour and where funds are being donated to. Ticket prices were significantly higher than in past. Embarassing low crowd numbers so pre-event promotion needs significant improvement along with greater local involvement. Event announcer was definitely not from area so maybe local promoter and announcer would be better. Very unhappy that John McEnroe was grumpy and sour-faced during his entire appearance and play, along with dropping the F-word in front of the ball boys and girls which was totally inappropriate, even for him.

Loved the idea of the exhibition. Appreciated the entertainment offered. Disappointed that the players weren't miked and we couldn't hear all of the interactions between them and with the crowd.

Agassi, Roddick, Fish & Blake---Best of the Best

by jacksonhi5 on 4/17/16Volvo Car Stadium (Formerly Family Circle Stadium) - Charleston

Exciting to see these retired tennis pros play--all in one night. Parking was a problem--the buses got caught in traffic and so it was slow getting to the stadium. They did try to rush people through the gates but that didn't leave anytime to get drinks and/or food before play began. Then coming home, we stood in line for over a half hour to catch a bus. This is a long time to wait especially for older patrons. Because they played a total of 3 individual matches, so 3 total sets, it went fast. I would've liked to see more tennis--2 out of 3? And my biggest disappointment was that we couldn't hear the banter of the players--except for those in the box seat "facing the server". That left everyone else wondering what was so funny. These events are supposed to be entertaining and the players play to the crowd. So my suggestion would be to put mics on the players so we all can get in on the jokes--not just an elite few.

Matches fantastic. Seating from second tier down throughout the venue presents good viewing. One drawback, and it's a serious one, is parking...........a nightmare!

    Power Shares was great!

by 513AB on 4/13/16Volvo Car Stadium (Formerly Family Circle Stadium) - Charleston

So fun to get to see four of the greatest American male tennis players ever together! Heard someone refer to it as the "old timers" match. There was nothing old- timer about these guys. The quality of tennis was exceptional - they were very competitive yet entertaining.

My family and I had a ball watching four of the old pros --- it was amazing how they could still hit the ball. Definitely fun to go to if you enjoy watching some great guys - having a great time.
