Powerhouse
Over the decades, the Powerhouse concerts have become an institution in hip-hop, put on by a radio station that's remained a mainstay of urban contemporary music for decades. WUSL 98.9, out of Philadelphia (better known to its huge audience as Power 99 FM) has sponsored the annual Powerhouse concerts since 1982. Fans know that every time autumn rolls around, they can expect an onstage onslaught of major players in the hip-hop game giving their all — and getting back a ton of love from the crowd.
Power 99 was joined by New York City station WWPR 105.1 (aka Power 105.1) when it became a go-to source for hip-hop and R&B in 2002. These days, the Powerhouse concerts are a two-pronged event with shows sponsored by both stations. Looking back over the history of the Powerhouse shows is a little bit like glancing back at the history of hip-hop itself. Year after year, the event has hosted the major artists of the moment, whether that meant featuring Xzibit, Ludacris and Ja Rule in 2001, showcasing Drake, Rick Ross and Trey Songz in 2011, or offering the likes of Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert and G-Eazy in 2018.

Highly recommend to attend. I've gone to 6 of these, and the last 4 in a row. Worth every dollar! Oh and there's always amazing surprise guests. Game & nicky minaj!

Great performances from all the Artist my daughter is a Chris Brown fan she was not disappointed at all next year I bwould like to sit at the bottom or in the middle that's where all the action was at... I will be back next year...

Tyga and The Game lit up the stage and when Breezy brought out Nicki's sexy ass!!!! We'll definitely be there From Now On!!

by HenneyLove on 6/27/12honda center anaheim - anaheimFirst of all to enjoy the show you must be there super early or will get stuck in traffic for hours just to get into the parking lot which is a bit rediculous. They were not cordinating the traffic right and fast enough that made many people late. If sitting on the floor good luck because people block your sight to take pictures and try to come up on your seats so must be on the lookout. Overall experience not the best just because people were too crowded and rude and some of the ushers aswell at the honda center. The performance(the ones I did get to see) were awesome but short.

THE SURPRISE GUEST WERE THE BEST HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NIGHT. JUS PURE BLISS, HAPPINESS, AND FUN. I LOVED IT!!!! ONLY THING THAT WOULDA MADE IT BETTER WAS IF DJ QUIK HADDA PERFORMED :-)
