Powerhouse
Over the decades, the Powerhouse concerts have become an institution in hip-hop, put on by a radio station that's remained a mainstay of urban contemporary music for decades. WUSL 98.9, out of Philadelphia (better known to its huge audience as Power 99 FM) has sponsored the annual Powerhouse concerts since 1982. Fans know that every time autumn rolls around, they can expect an onstage onslaught of major players in the hip-hop game giving their all — and getting back a ton of love from the crowd.
Power 99 was joined by New York City station WWPR 105.1 (aka Power 105.1) when it became a go-to source for hip-hop and R&B in 2002. These days, the Powerhouse concerts are a two-pronged event with shows sponsored by both stations. Looking back over the history of the Powerhouse shows is a little bit like glancing back at the history of hip-hop itself. Year after year, the event has hosted the major artists of the moment, whether that meant featuring Xzibit, Ludacris and Ja Rule in 2001, showcasing Drake, Rick Ross and Trey Songz in 2011, or offering the likes of Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert and G-Eazy in 2018.

A great concert with great artists and a lot of special guest appearances....I will be back next year for sure
The fireworks and the light show were great touches to his performance. The sound of the entire show could have been better, people were talking and I still couldn't understand what they were saying.
loved all the acts went especially to see tyga snoop was really good and wale was soo gooood
It was amazing. I thought it was just going to be any other concert. NO everyone put on a good show.
The artists were AMAZING! One thing that I would change would be the music was louder than the artist voices.
Great guest appearances. The crowd was on their fee the whole time.
Loved every single thing about power house! Looking forward to it next year!
show was amazing....worth the price, west coast rappers were the best !!
All acts were awesome. Snoop Dogg was the best. It was really nice that all the intermissions were really short until the next guy came out. It was also long, so it was worth the bang for the buck.
I enjoyed everything about it! The only thing I would change is maybe the order the artist came out in.
SPEECHLESS IT WAS GREAT ...........GREAT LINE UP ....... THE SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMERS WERE GREAT SURPRISES .. ESPECAILLY LIL WAYNE & TOO SHORT
This show was amazing. All of the performers were awesome and the concert did and amazing job of turning over the acts in between performances and keeping the show moving. Seats were awesome, club level is definitely the way to go for a show like this.
Great performers! Great surprise guests ! Awesome time!! Powerhouse 2012 was truly an unforgettable experience ! Can't wait until next years powerhouse (:
Everyone did their thing. Gotta love how west coast artist are always showed mad love!
Too amazing for words, you just had to be there! Snoop is a true OG got everybody hyped, JCole kept it alive and Tyga made the night by bringing out Weezy, we all went nuts! Perfect setup by Tyga, he did Faded then all of a sudden Wayne came out and he redid Faded with Wayne & The Motto...SHOW of the YEAR! All the artists did their best songs, which is why the show was AMAZING
The show was off the hook!! One of the best shows!! Power-House is the best! Great Family time!!
