    Postmodern Jukebox South Lake Tahoe

by DMP on 6/21/22Bally's Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe

We really love Post Modern Juke Box! But a little disappointed that Scott Bradley nor Casey Abraham’s were there. We saw PMJ in Las Vegas the night before and drive all the way to Tahoe to get the Saturday show. The audience was much more excited in Tahoe. But for some reason PMJ didn’t come back for an encore when they did in Las Vegas. Weird. It was still a great show. Drinks were nicely priced but the seating a bit cramped. Ballys hotel was seriously over priced.

    Best ever!

by CynViolet on 6/21/22Bally's Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe

We have seen PMJ two previous times, and while they are always AMAZING!, we enjoyed the show and the venue at Bally's. We will definitely be back for other shows, and anytime PMJ is in town.

by Gabbi on 3/8/22Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

This band is full of Phenomenal Talent! From their dancing, and singing cover songs in a different genre with 7 octave range, they are a spectacular band and I highly recommend their concerts!

So much talent in one place. It was a great show.

by SparkChaser on 12/2/21House of Blues Houston - Houston

Ten people with some incredible talent. Definitely worth seeing. If you like real musicians making real music, then this is the show for you. The venue left something to be desired. I showed up at 5:30 because the show was scheduled to start at 6:00. There were several emails before the show but none of them mentioned that the venue would not let people in until 6:30. Go stand outside for an hour at the end of November. When we arrived there were signs telling the guests that women's purses that were bigger than wallet size were not allowed inside. Many mad ladies had to walk back to their cars. There were signs stating we had to have either a covid shot record or negative test results in the last 72 hours. Again we had many mad people who were not prepared for these restrictions. Perhaps someone could have sent an email letting everyone know to be prepared. When we got inside it was necessary to take an elevator to the balcony. The elevator operator said there would be someone at the balcony level to help find our seats. Unfortunately this was not true. We were in a dark area with no help finding seats. Many people were roaming around lost. I went to the bar and saw they had snack food to order. I ordered chicken tenders and fries and a water. Around $30 and 45 minutes later It arrived. While I waited I sat at the bar area and pulled up a seating chart for the House of Blues. People kept asking the bartenders for directions to their seats. The bartenders had no idea so for the 45 minutes I waited for my food I got to play Good Samaratin and direct people to their rows. When the show started I found my seat and realized that not only did the balcony railing block me from seeing the performers at the center of the stage but, since I was on the side of the balcony I would only see half of the stage below. Paid for a whole show. Got to see half of it. Now you may think that I could just check the video screen to see what I was missing. Imagine two 65" monitors with the resolution straight out of 1990. It was like watching 8-bit graphics on an old PacMan screen. Go see Postmodern Jukebox but be prepared to suffer if it's at House of Blues Houston.

Incredibly fun and FANTASTIC show! Definitely a must see.

by KP on 12/2/21House of Blues Houston - Houston

The talent of Postmodern Jukebox just explodes in their show! Singers, tap dancer and the gifted musicians came together to make this one of the most entertaining experiences I've ever had. The venue -- House of Blues -- was also perfect! The ambiance and intimacy of the theatre really added to the look, feel and overall experience. Can't wait to see this group in action again. It was the perfect way to kick-off the holidays. Thank you.

Great Concert, Problems with the tickets and venue

by Christine R on 12/1/21House of Blues Houston - Houston

The concert was creative and fun. I wasn't familiar with the group before we came, but I'll have to look more of their songs. Great musicians, cool costumes. I had never been to House of Blues before. The tickets said the concert started at 6 so we got there about 5:30; actually, the doors didn't open until about 6:10. I have issues with standing for long periods; there is no where to sit in line, and I was almost in tears by the time the line started moving. Our seats were upstairs; there were no ushers, but we were eventually able to figure it out. There was a persistant, distracting whine during the entire event that came from the snack bar on the balcony level. The seats were comfortable once we found them, the staff checking the line for vaccination status before the doors opened were helpful and sped up the process once the doors finally opened. But I would have arrived an hour later and skipped the line, if the time on the tickets had been correct.

    Great show, disappointing venue

by Misc Fan on 12/1/21House of Blues Houston - Houston

Postmodern Jukebox was amazing. I would see them again in a heartbeat. The House of Blues was an experience I'd like to forget and avoid in the future. When we arrived, most ladies did not know about the purse size limit. The limit, 6.5" long clutch, is unrealistic at best. My phone is 6.5" long & wouldn't fit in a purse that size. I watched as dozens of women walked back to their cars only to return & be told their wallet was too big. These women had to carry their phone, id & credit cards in their hands all night because most did not have pockets in their dresses. With the small size of this concert & venue, searching a wallet would take mere moments, less time than it took to argue about it with guests multiple times. The bar though, was the last straw. Never in my life have I been charged $20 for one ounce of mid level quality liquor. In five star bars I can get a quality craft cocktail for less. Moreover, we did not know how much our two ounces of gin with a lime squeeze cost until after. I'd like to think they weren't intentionally scamming people, but I'm pretty sure they were. Overall, no desire to return to the House of Blues.

Band was great! The lighting was terrible!

by K on 12/1/21House of Blues Houston - Houston

PMJ always puts on a great show! I took one star off because the lighting was absolutely terrible. We had a clear view of the board operator and she was looking at her phone almost the entire time. The singers and band were always in the dark, and the only thing she did was change the back light color for each song. It was definitely not the quality I expect for PMJ or from House of Blues.

    Utterly Fantastic

    by C. E. on 10/29/21Kodak Center - Rochester

The musical and vocal talent that was on display was just amazing. The tap dancing is a visual delight. These people have so much talent its just astounding. So lucky to have had the chance to see them live at the Kodak Theater in Rochester, NY. The smallish venue made it feel intimate and the acoustics were fabulous!

    One Word - Amazing

by Naidy on 10/29/21Kodak Center - Rochester

The whole concert is a total experience. Everyone from the MC (who is also an INCREDIBLE vocalist) to the band was top tier. Definitely an all over experience that you wont regret. Well worth battling the elements during a Nor'Easter for!
