Postmodern Jukebox was amazing. I would see them again in a heartbeat.
The House of Blues was an experience I'd like to forget and avoid in the future.
When we arrived, most ladies did not know about the purse size limit. The limit, 6.5" long clutch, is unrealistic at best. My phone is 6.5" long & wouldn't fit in a purse that size. I watched as dozens of women walked back to their cars only to return & be told their wallet was too big. These women had to carry their phone, id & credit cards in their hands all night because most did not have pockets in their dresses. With the small size of this concert & venue, searching a wallet would take mere moments, less time than it took to argue about it with guests multiple times.
The bar though, was the last straw. Never in my life have I been charged $20 for one ounce of mid level quality liquor. In five star bars I can get a quality craft cocktail for less. Moreover, we did not know how much our two ounces of gin with a lime squeeze cost until after. I'd like to think they weren't intentionally scamming people, but I'm pretty sure they were.
Overall, no desire to return to the House of Blues.
