Listen I am a PJ fan but the show was blah. Sound was off for opening act and energy was not good from audience.
We waited over 30 mins for the doors to open , sound check took about 10 mins and the opening singer was good, I expected more from PJ he may have given 45 mins of performance but it was not good for the amount of the tickets he didn't do good
PJ gave us all the feels. It felt like church and a family reunion. The venue was intimate and the acoustics were good.
I love supporting black owned creators and brands. Although Je’Caryous Johnson doesn’t have the best reputation as a promoter anything featuring one of my favorite artist PJ Morton is a no brainer, I would be in the building. I was super excited to be there, until I got to my seat. My view was impeded due to sound equipment we couldn’t see, the band, the background singers and barely PJ. You know a full PJ experience is seeing the entire set. I felt bad for the first time supporters I’ve seen him multiple times. I rarely complain about anything, but the price paid for these tickets this was truly upsetting. This is intended to be constructive feedback hopefully it will be read and changes will be made in the future to enhance the experience of supporters. Thank you and God Bless.
I had a great time at the show. I will say that being at a venue where there is seating was uncomfortable for me. I need to be on my feet for a PJ Morton show lol! But none the less I had a great time and got to introduce my Chicago cousin to PJ!
PJ Morton's show was spectacular, and he is such an incredible musician! The way the band was utilized and all of the arrangements were super special. I loved it!
The concert was awesome. I don't have anything to say bad about the show. My only complaint was the time. Somewhere was as error with the time. Ticketmaster said that doors open at 6 and show start for 7. That was not the case. The doors didn't open until 7 and show started at 8. That was an inconvenience to the fans that was standing in line at 5. I feel you should alway respect people time.
PJ Morton gave us everything in New Orleans! Well worth the money I spent. I’ll see him again and again. After a rough 2023, where I lost my mother and grandmother, this concert was a balm to my weary heart. Thank you PJ.
DJ Arie Spins opened up the show with an incredible set that set the tone for the evening; PJ, his band and background singers gave an amazing show!!! Definitely a must see!!!
I won these tickets. So let’s just say I was already very grateful for the blessing! DJ Arie was awesome. She mixed the old and the new and fused such a VIBE! I must admit I only knew one of PJ’s hits. Of course it is A New Orleans Girl⚜️⚜️. That I am! His voice was so tantalizing. I have already downloaded many of his hits. PJ got soul! He is a total vibe all by himself. Looking forward to hearing him live very soon.
Live show killa!!!! Anytime PJ is in your city, run don’t walk and get tickets!!!
The concert was really good. PJ Morton is a great entertainer.
The Dallas venue had sound issues The opening act was fantastic and professional through sound debacle… I enjoyed the show in Napa and Detroit the most…I was in tears when his Dad sang in NOLA I loved good morning performance in Dallas…I usually sit up close to stage…I got my tic for Dallas late and seating was elbow to elbow and people stood up and I only saw half the show…I didn’t want to stand because senior citizens were behind me…if he comes back to Bruton in Dallas I will get a closer seat…God Bless you and family PJ and the flawless band and background vocals ❣️ I have 1 more PJ Morton show to see to make my 5 in a row bucket list Peace&blessings
The event was absolutely wonderful! Although the event started late, it was well worth the wait. From the start of the show until the end the crowd sang and throughly enjoyed themselves. The opening act (DJ Ariel Spin) got the crowd prepared for PJ, and once he took the stage he held the crowd in the palm of his talented hands. He sang all of his more popular songs, and was even joined in song by his father. At the end the show the crowd wanted an encore which he graciously provided. I would and will go to see him again. It was an awesome performance. His band and background vocals were on point. The show left you wanting more, yet satisfied all at the same time. All that I can say is “More Morton”!!
Great show. My 1st time. Doors were scheduled to open at 6pm, doors opened an hr late, show started an hr late as well, but overall the show was top tier
PJ Morton’s show was phenomenal!!! I was elated to see the show Sold Out as in other places. Nothing like being there to support someone home grown. I will make sure to save the date in 2024 so that I don’t miss him.
I ALWAYS enjoy myself when i attend a PJ Morton concert. the ONLY issue i had was that ticket master said the concert started at 7 and doors opened at 6. the line stretched down the block before the orpheum told us (closer to 6:45pm) that ticket master had the incorrect information and the concert really started at 8! other than that, no issues here!
Our first time attending PJ’s concert., but it won’t be our last. We had a great time. He’s a great song writer and entertainer. Being from the NOLA area, we especially enjoyed his performances of New Orleans Girl and Good Morning (my personal fav). It was nice to see his dad there also.
The best live show I’ve ever attended! PJ Morton is the greatest! His band is awesome! Great experience
Seating was to close but overall a great show ,Hopefully I can see his next show in New Orleans
