About

Pitbull in Concert

Seeing Pitbull live is a trip around the world of Mr. 305, jam-packed with his biggest hits, suave personality and overwhelming gratitude. Pitbull has proven himself to be a master showman since his breakthrough in the early 2000s, and his stage show has only improved since then, whirling through his ever-growing roster of global hits and enticing the audience into joining his party. Pitbull has co-headlined tours with fellow Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias, toured with Britney Spears in Europe and delighted audiences around the world from Kodiak, Alaska, to Cape Town.

Pitbull Background

Born in Miami in 1981, Armando Christian Pérez transformed himself into Pitbull as a teenager, performing in clubs and refining his style, which was influenced largely by reggaeton and crunk. An introduction to Atlanta's crunk king Lil Jon led to his being featured on a mixtape by the excitable hip-hop star, which then led to Lil Jon coproducing Pitbull's 2004 breakthrough single, the raucous "Culo." Pitbull became a huge presence in Latin pop and hip-hop during the ‘00s, collaborating with the Ying Yang Twins, DJ Khaled and Fat Joe, among others.

Pitbull's pop breakthrough came in 2008, when he released the smash single "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)." A blend of Latin hip-hop and glittery dance music that shouted out Miami's Little Havana, it reached No. 1 on multiple charts around the world, and peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100. The sinewy "Hotel Room Service," which similarly blended Eurodance and hip-hop, became his second Top 10 single in 2009, establishing Pitbull as a pop force. He solidified that reputation through Top 10 collaborations with Enrique Iglesias (the Jersey Shore–featured "I Like It"), Usher ("DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love") and Jennifer Lopez ("On the Floor"). He reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts in 2011 with "Give Me Everything," a party-ready collaboration with Ne-Yo and Afrojack. In 2013, he hit No. 1 again with the country-fried "Timber," a collaboration with Kesha, while "Time of Our Lives," his devil-may-care reunion with Ne-Yo, returned him to the Top 10 in 2014. He's stayed prolific since then, releasing singles with pop stars like Fifth Harmony and Leona Lewis as well as Latin stars like Daddy Yankee and Prince Royce. Everywhere he goes, he brings his message of working hard and partying harder to his appreciative audience.

    Where was Pitbull?

by Tom on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

The concert started with just a DJ for an hour. By the time that was done, even the kids were bored and on their phones. When Pitbull finally came out, he was on for an hour and fifteen minutes. No encore. Hardly worth the money.

Pitbull relies on staff to make the evening memorable.

by SaltysLLC on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Event staff was great. Pitbull was late to the party and waisted. He even got the count wrong on the ball drop. If not for the talented backup dancers it would have been a flop.

    Very exiting and inspirational concern

by Footie on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

This concern was not only a great performance by Pitbull and his team . I was also thrilled to hear the inspirational words from Pitbull and the fact that he could identify especially the teacher who inspired him. It's the perfect concert to ring in the New Year with optimism and positivity. The baddrop design at the concert was awesome.

    Couldn’t stop this party

by Gasolina on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Great time, could have used without the DJ set. The stage performers were shaking it and Mr. Worldwide put on a great show. A little short and without guests however. The ringing in of the New Year was a blast with balloons and confetti everywhere. Was a great NYE!

    Super great show

by Mirta on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

I loved the performance so much! Everything was terrific: Pitbull himself, the dancing ladies, the sound and the energetic atmosphere. The only drawback I see is that there were too many people on the dance floor for general admission that it was tough even to move, not dance :)))

    Never again!

by #Disappointed on 1/3/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

tldr...Pitbulls DJ is the star of the show and does 75% of the entertainment. Pitbull is on stage @ 45 minutes when you factor in his costume changes where again his DJ performs. Mr Worldwide 🌐 is Mr .Roger's Neighborhood! Save your money...I should have read the reviews before I spent my hard earned money

    Good time .

by Ana Maria on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Pill Bull show was great, enjoyed every mins of him on stage. The beginning with the DJ stared good but was to long and got to the point getting tired of the same thing. The theater was a good size for a concert of that kind to be able see the stage. thank you !

Expensive for one hour performance so disappointed

by Kristi Kraft on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Crazy that I spent less money on Taylor swift tickets and she performed for 3 hours. Snoop also played for a little over two hours for decent priced tickets. I wasted my money for four of us to see Pitbull play for one hour! Never again will I go to one of his concert! Out of all the concerts I went to this year this was by far the shortest and most expensive! So pathetic!

    Worth the Wait

by MOMGREEN on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

I waited an hour and 20 minutes before Pitbull came on stage but when he did it was awesome.

    Time

by Ellie on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Show is supposed to start at eigh. DJ was too much waste of time. Pitbull did not start until nine fifteen so that's a rip-off $200
