About

Pitbull in Concert

Seeing Pitbull live is a trip around the world of Mr. 305, jam-packed with his biggest hits, suave personality and overwhelming gratitude. Pitbull has proven himself to be a master showman since his breakthrough in the early 2000s, and his stage show has only improved since then, whirling through his ever-growing roster of global hits and enticing the audience into joining his party. Pitbull has co-headlined tours with fellow Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias, toured with Britney Spears in Europe and delighted audiences around the world from Kodiak, Alaska, to Cape Town.

Pitbull Background

Born in Miami in 1981, Armando Christian Pérez transformed himself into Pitbull as a teenager, performing in clubs and refining his style, which was influenced largely by reggaeton and crunk. An introduction to Atlanta's crunk king Lil Jon led to his being featured on a mixtape by the excitable hip-hop star, which then led to Lil Jon coproducing Pitbull's 2004 breakthrough single, the raucous "Culo." Pitbull became a huge presence in Latin pop and hip-hop during the ‘00s, collaborating with the Ying Yang Twins, DJ Khaled and Fat Joe, among others.

Pitbull's pop breakthrough came in 2008, when he released the smash single "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)." A blend of Latin hip-hop and glittery dance music that shouted out Miami's Little Havana, it reached No. 1 on multiple charts around the world, and peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100. The sinewy "Hotel Room Service," which similarly blended Eurodance and hip-hop, became his second Top 10 single in 2009, establishing Pitbull as a pop force. He solidified that reputation through Top 10 collaborations with Enrique Iglesias (the Jersey Shore–featured "I Like It"), Usher ("DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love") and Jennifer Lopez ("On the Floor"). He reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts in 2011 with "Give Me Everything," a party-ready collaboration with Ne-Yo and Afrojack. In 2013, he hit No. 1 again with the country-fried "Timber," a collaboration with Kesha, while "Time of Our Lives," his devil-may-care reunion with Ne-Yo, returned him to the Top 10 in 2014. He's stayed prolific since then, releasing singles with pop stars like Fifth Harmony and Leona Lewis as well as Latin stars like Daddy Yankee and Prince Royce. Everywhere he goes, he brings his message of working hard and partying harder to his appreciative audience.

by PAt on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

This show was sooo fun. I just Wish he did a long set, instead of so much DJ time. In this arena there’s no bad seats

    Main event too short…

by Kathi on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Dj was good however too long…. 15-20 minutes would be better. Then had to wait over 30 minutes for Pit Bull. Good show… however over around 10:30 p. So about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Had several dj intermissions for dress changes. No encore.

    False Advertising

by Never Again on 1/2/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Concert was advertised and sold as 3 performers. Pitbull, Enrique, Ricky Martin. Pitbull took the stage 1 hour and fifteen minutes LATE! He performed for 75 minutes. Totally unacceptable.

Sept. 21&22 in CV, CA at the NICU Amphitheater.

by Superfan from Chula Vista CA on 11/27/23

Pitbull is an amazing performer that never disappoints. I've attended 2 concerts, 2021 and 2022, 4th row seats. His energy, his voice, and his songs, are something that always makes me get up and start dancing. I don't think I sat much throughout the entire concert. I dance to his music every night for 2 hours, and that's my secret to make exercise not feel like exercise. I live his music and am so disappointed that he won't be coming to San Diego County, more specifically, the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater, located in Chula Vista CA. I would love to go up and see him either November 30th or December 1st, but no way to afford tickets and arrange my transportation, it's further than I can afford to go, but one last request if by any chance Pitbull sees this review, he knows exactly how much he's loved by all of us. Everyone fortunate enough to have tickets to any his concerts, you will not be disappointed, his voice does something to me, it's energizing and magnetic, and will have you dancing in the aisles, but not need to feel embarrassed, you will have a lot of company. I hope to get to see him live 1 more time. Thank you and if anyone is feeling generous at this time of year, you could make 2023 come to a perfect end with 2 4th row aisle seats closest to the stage. What a gift. (I'm realistic and know that this is just wishful thinking on my end, but if I don't ask, I know I can't go, but with tickets covered, my only expense would be a rental car, food, and drinks.

    A phenomenal show!

    by Mr. 425 on 11/3/23

Pitbull never fails to disappoint his fans! Every show is better than the last one. Not only is he a great performer, but being a great mentor, motivator, and an epicenter of positive vibes is one heck of a skill. Pitbull is the man of not just the hour, but the world. His music is top-notch for anyone ever feeling down or feel like they've failed. However in Pitbull's world, everyone is successful; and the world needs that more than ever during these times. That's what i call; Mr. Worldwide.

    Perfection

    by Zumbafitmom on 11/3/23

While the concert did start a little late, my dancer heart didn’t care once the music started. Pitbull opened, music was great and the dancers awesome. Enrique was next. Bless it….still all about the sex appeal, but still phenomenal. Ricky Martin….holy cow! Great music, great dancing (with his troupe) and great voice still. Having danced to Latin music for so many years, I LOVED every minute of it!

Chicago United Center Enrique, Pitbull, Ricky Trilogy Tour

    by Blonde on 11/1/23

The concert started 45 minutes late. Ricky Martin open the concert a hour act which was way too long for an opening. We were not sure if the United Centers Chicago acoustic or the base was so overpowered

    Fun!

by Jason on 10/3/23Tahoe Blue Event Center - Stateline

Great performance by Pitbull. Lots of energy and he sounded great. The new Tahoe events center is a place I would definitely go back to, they just need to fix the chaotic line situation outside the doors. Other than that it was an excellent night.

Amazing live performer, overall great vibes!

by Jessie on 10/2/23Tahoe Blue Event Center - Stateline

Pitbull put on a wonderful show. I genuinely did not realize how many songs of Pitbull's I knew until I was there jamming out to the entire setlist. He has so many radio hits, that you're bound to know some of his setlist. He has amazing energy and connects well with the audience. 10/10 recommend!

    Great Concert Great Location

by Gigi on 10/2/23Tahoe Blue Event Center - Stateline

This was a great event. Pitbull and his backup dancers are awesome. We were probably the oldest couple at the concert, but we never sat down. Both of us in our late 70's. Danced the whole night. You can't help it with Pitbull!

    Very good experience

by nickname on 10/2/23Tahoe Blue Event Center - Stateline

Pitbull is an amazing performer and definitely the best person to open an event center. I loved how the event was set up but I wish there was a space just for standing with no chairs. Almost like a pit. Overall great experience!

    Just ok

by SocialGirl on 10/2/23Tahoe Blue Event Center - Stateline

The show was way too short. It was delayed start and it was over just after 90 mins. Not enough songs were played. Performance was good was I wish it was longer with more songs.
