Fun, Whimsical, Too Notch Performance!! I recommend to all.
Great show! Talented actors and a great storyline message. Very entertaining!
The dancing and acrobatics were amazing. Did not know the story. Thought the story line was a bit odd.
Just not my cup of tea. Their description of the original 1893 version was far more entertaining than this rendition. We almost left after the first half, but felt there must be some redeeming quality during the second. Wrong! Performers were painted with less than optimal symbols, costumes were half and half, not to mention tight. Heavy sexual overtones and innuendos, a few Oedipus-like, incestuous overtones, some cursing, but not overdone, and a faint and confusing storyline. All this to say that this production left me with the feeling that I was watching a satanic orgy, at times. No pleasure with this production.
Perhaps I should have researched the content. However, I saw nothing worth "concern" in the marketing, reviews, or write up of the performance. Expect adult themes, including an orgie scene. I was angry, as I sat in the audience next to a 12 year child, who verbally shared she felt uncomfortable. The sexual innuendos went beyond script, with cast going above and beyond with touching, and gyrations. If I missed a "rating,"'my bad. If there's no rating, there certainly should be
Very good show!! Loved seeing a diverse cast! I just wanna find my corner of the sky!
