  • Awesome, Fun, Brilliant, and Beautiful

by Jim on 2/28/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I first saw Pilobolus in Boston in 1976 and I have been a fan ever since then. The combination of dance, athleticism, wit, and beauty are extraordinarily entertaining. Over the years the choreographers have continued to embrace the new and yet still adhere to the original concepts laid out by the founders fifty years ago. Well done.

We loved the 50th Anniversary show. So much energy and excitment and grace and strength. I would see them every chance I get.

They’re great - always fun, interesting, and creative. We try to see them every time they come to Fort Lauderdale, which isn’t nearly enough.

  • Delightfully Mesmerizing

Loved the experience of Pilobolus once more! What was the most fun was introducing a friend to Pilobolus’s magic of movement humor sensuality creativity and heart. She was awestruck too. My one complaint was that there was only a single performance. I/We wanted more more more…or at least again.

  • Great Perrromance!

    by R.L. A. on 4/30/19Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Pilobolus was amazing! The fun started when about 20 minutes before the show was about to start, the performers came out in ones and twos to "warm up" dressed in sweats & other casual clothing. Some of them greeted friends & family who were in the audience. Then the show started and they were magnificent! An amazing combination of agility, strength, dancing, movement & humor. The videos were fascinating as well and added to the enjoyment.

  • Pilobolus at BergenPac

    by F. R. on 4/29/19Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The tickets were a birthday gift for my wife. I had seen Pilobolus in the 70s and they are even more impressive now. They have tremendous strength which is elevated by their fluidity and expressiveness. BergenPac is a good venue for shows. The theater is cozy, there’s plenty of parking and lots of close choices for a bite or libation. The only, slight, negative was that there was no playbill. We would have liked to know more about the dancers. Luckily we sat behind the dance captain’s mother-in-law. She shared some background on the artists

  • Beautiful Experience

  • Great show for kids.

by MerryChica on 7/2/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I love Pilobolus and was thrilled that they also offer a kid's version of their show. It was interactive and well-timed. I believe this show is offered every year as a part of the American Dance Festival--so I highly recommend it to parents and grandparents as an annual outing.

  • Pilobolus kid’s concert was great

by CEK1 on 6/26/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

The most recent Pilobolus concert f or kids was the best yet. They have figured out how do make it appeal to kids. Lots of audience participation, explanations, short dances, a theme (nature) that kids could relate to, lots of humor. I have seen 4 others and this was the best by far

  • Pilobolus - Awesome as always

by JAAjr on 6/25/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

This marks the fifth year in a row that I've been to see Piloibolus, and they're fully up to their very high standard. Some of the performances were fun, some were emotionally intimate, and all were worth seeing. I'll be back next year.

  • Stupendous

by Phrogflyer on 6/25/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

As always, Pilobolus was a joy. Mixing two world premieres with two older dances was a feast for the eyes and senses. The exuberance of the cast was a real plus. It is obvious that they love what they do.
