About
Piff the Magic Dragon is the green, red and gold-costumed onstage persona of English magician and comedian John van der Put, who has been entertaining audiences at his headlining solo residency at Flamingo Las Vegas since 2015. During the show, Piff performs staggering stunts and illusions along with his signature deadpan humor, his onstage assistant and real-life wife Jade Simone and “the world’s first magic performing chihuahua” Mr. Piffles. In 2019, Piff was named Best Comedian, Best Magician and Best Headliner at the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Elsewhere, Piff the Magic Dragon has gained international notoriety as an opening act for Mumford & Sons and as a contestant on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He was later crowned the winner of the television competition series Tournament of Laughs in 2020.

The Flamingo Showroom is situated within the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The venue is easily accessible via Interstate 15. Parking is available at Flamingo Las Vegas. Valet and self-parking fees can be viewed here.
*There is no free parking at or near the Jubilee Theater at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
You can reach the Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas by city and regional bus. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) runs the Deuce on The Strip line, a 24-hour bus line that operates between the South Strip Transit Terminal and the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas is located off either the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino or the Las Vegas at Harrahs bus stops.

And the magic! So good! I expected to love the show, I was so happy I got to go, and it fulfilled every hope.

Three way over the top obvious audience plants. Piff spent more time looking up at the countdown timer off stage right. As for Mr, Piffels, the dog barely moved. The dog looked very disheveled and like it hadn't been bathed or even groomed in days. He wasn't even put down on the stage to do anything in the show. Piff or his assistant lady were always holding him or the dog sat on a table and didn't make a sound. When the camera did a closeup on the dog its eyes were barely open, like it was heavily sedated or it was sick. Save your money, see a better show. :-(

This show wasn't really funny and was short on magic. There was too much harassing the audience and cussing. This was supposed to be suitable for kids and participants of all ages. The crazy showgirl lady was just trying too hard to be funny. The dog was the best part of the whole show. Save your money or spend it elsewhere.

I belly laughed all through the entire performance. His wit and audience interaction kept the show rolling nonstop. The supporting roles of assistant and cameraman added subtle humor as well.
