About

Growing out of the San Diego, California punk scene, Pierce the Veil was founded by brothers Mike and Vic Fuentes in 2007 after the demise of their previous band and furthered praise for their emo post-hardcore sound. After signing with Fearless Records in 2011, their third album Collide with the Sky was released in July 2012, peaking at No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200, as well as No. 1 on the U.S Alternative and Rock charts. They joined the Vans Warped Tour again in 2012, toured North America with A Day to Remember and All Time Low, and played for ticket buyers with Bring Me The Horizon in Europe and the U.K. in 2013. Following the break-up of the group Before Today, the brothers Fuentes continued writing songs and recorded a new full-length album in Seattle under their new moniker. This debut album A Flair for the Dramatic was released in June 2007 on Equal Vision Records. They recruited lead guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado and played the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, as well as concerts with Breathe Carolina and Thursday. Their sophomore studio album Selfish Machines came out in June 2010 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

One of the best shows I ever been to. They sound awesome live. Words can't explain how amazing that concert was. I wish I lived that moment forever.!

  • Sleeping with sirens, no show.

by Meathead10 on 11/2/12Upstate Concert Hall - Clifton ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The main reason I bought those tickets was to see sleeping with sirens, they cancelled 30 minutes before the show. Not to mention I had to drive 2 and a half hours to get to the show. Pierce the veil and tonight alive were great regardless. Just a huge disappointment on sws's part.

Kellen from sleeping with sirens was sick, so they did not perform. That was very disappointing because they were the band I most wanted to see.

by heterotp on 11/1/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The sound was great; I could hear everything but wasn't deaf afterwards. All four bands gave us an unbelievable performance and the lighting was done perfectly so we could actually see them. The guards did an awesome job keeping us safe and the bartenders were beautiful. I was not familiar with either opening band, but Tonight Alive did an incredible job getting the crowd going for SWS. Sleeping With Sirens frontman, Kellin Quinn, gave us a small speech before each song to tell us what it was about, so even people who weren't familiar with his band could understand the meaning. Vic Fuentes did a fantastic job involving the audience in his set as well. Pierce The Veil was extremely lively the whole time and it was a great set. Bathrooms were pretty clean, you could probably use more stalls in the ladies room if the opportunity ever arises. I'd totally go see them again at the Masquerade and most certainly bring friends. Thank you so much.

  • PTV best night ever

by Tineall on 10/29/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue didnt get rowdy until SWS went on and then even more beast when PTV hit the stage. The floor felt like it was going to fall to the bottom level. King for a day was the encore song!!!

I went specifically for Tonight Alive and they were awesome. The others were great too. The venue, The Masquerade, seem a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be great. The floor literally felt like it was about to break because the crowd had so much energy. Definitely go to this concert, it was amazing!

Everyone gave a great show but Pierce the Veil brought the house down!!!

  • Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens. Amazing.

by Allise on 10/28/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The opening bands weren't amateur bands like I half expected. Hands Like Houses and Tonight Alive were amazing and got the crowd roaring. The crowd got so wild when Kellin Quinn was about to walk on stage that their appearance was actually delayed a minute. But when they came out, they put on an amazing show. This was my second time seeing Sleeping With ISirens, and they put on such a great show that I'll come see the show every time they're in town. Pierce The Veil was equally as impressive. Lead Singer Vic was wearing a Sleeping With Sirens shirt to support his friend's band. They're last song was King For a Day featuring Kellin Quinn, and it was the best song of the entire night. I lovedSleeping With Sirens before I got there, but I left a Pierce The Veil fan that night.

  • Peirce the Veil is Awesome!

by MumBee on 10/27/12State Theatre - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

I came to this concert as the "designated driver" for my teenaged daughter and her friends. It was the second time I've seen Pierce the Veil and I have to say that they put on one incredible show! I thoroughly enjoyed it, even from my spot on the balcony - having learned that the pit is not really the place for a 47 year old mother. All of the bands were great, but Pierce the Veil was definitely worth breaking the school night curfew.

  • Nice concert, so fun!

  • Pierce the Veil was epic :)

by domiray on 12/9/11Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

The band was awesome, and so was Miss May I. There were a lot of smaller bands that played before the bigger more popular bands, but they were good too. The Newport was spacious and it wasn't too crowded. I will definitely go to see them again if they come to Columbus.

The information was misleading to me-the headliner was NOT Pierce the Veil, it was Miss May I. Not that i'm not a fan of Miss May I, but i drove 2 hours to see Pierce the Veil headline. Please clarify when there is a co-headlining tour.
