    Fillmore dropped the ball…

by Dead Last on 11/8/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Phil was incredible as always. But the Fillmore’s entrance procedure was inexplicably horrendous. The line was TWO blocks long and took over an hour to process a bunch of chilled out old hippies. Be better, Fillmore.

Good performance, venue gate super slow.

by Bruce Hallman on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Music & sound great, but for some reason the entry was super slow. Arrived at 7:50 for 8pm show. Didn't get entry until 9pm. Ended up missing 3 songs from the performance.

    Late Start but worth it

by Bird woman on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Very nice of Phil Lesh and Friends to start the show late due to taking close to 2 hours to get all the patrons inside so they wouldn't miss anything.

Phil rocks, but Fillmore was so packed

by Stardog on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Seeing Phil Lesh back at the Fillmore was radical! Seemed like the venue sold too many tickets though because it was so packed in there. I've been to many sold out Fillmore shows before and this was about as crowded as I've ever seen it. A little more elbow room would be nice.

    Entry into the venue

by RedwoodRich on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

The show itself was 5 stars (despite some technical difficulties in the first set). The band was on fire. The Fillmore is an iconic venue- Great ambiance, good sound system. Not a fan of the no cash/no paper tickets thing though, that was lame. The experience entering the venue? 0 stars. We got there an hour before doors opened, but still barely made it inside for the start of the show. They were only letting people in 2 at a time. I went through three different patdowns/searches just to enter the venue. This whole process needs an overhaul. I was surprised to see that the facility did not have a metal detector on-hand.

Fillmore please get people in faster

by Fillmore let us down on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Phil was great. The Fillmore let us down. They needed to open doors earlier and get people in faster. I stood in line for more than an hour to get in and still missed the first few songs.

    Horrible event mgt

by DH on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

The music was great and the management of the venue was absolutely terrible. We got to the show at 7:45 for a scheduled 8:00 show and it too is OVER AN HOUR to get through the woefully understaffed security line. An employee told us it was slow “because of the crowd demographic”!! Really, a bunch of old stoners? The music was superb but there was no air inside, very hot and stuffy. Then, getting out was even worse. We were jammed in the hot hallway for almost 30 minutes to get out, and due apparently to again a terribly understaffed exit that had one person handing out a poster to each patron. Though we were in the middle of the pack, just as we got to the exit, the person handing out the posters gave a stack to another person standing by the door and looked at us and said “no more posters, GOOD NIGHT”. We pointed to the posters sitting there and she pretty much screamed at us again GOOD NIGHT and told us to keep moving. I don’t think Live Nation could possibly have managed this show any worse.

    Fillmore gaffed it

by Turner on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

I’ve always loved the Fillmore for all the obvious reasons but getting inside Friday night was a disaster and for no good reason. The line out front wrapped around the block and took over an hour to get inside. Meanwhile, the show started and many of us missed a solid 30 minutes of music. That’s simply unacceptable, particularly in this age of ridiculously priced tickets.

Missed four songs due to inept Fillmore security

by Only live can Phil on 11/6/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

Arrived early to find a four block line. Oversold and understaffed. Even a SF Police officer was trying to help speed things up. Bill Graham would have blown his stack. Fire them all!

    Decent show - rain shortened

    by JBinHP on 7/30/23

Phil was pretty much in the background. The two guitarists didn’t seem to click in the first set. The solos felt a little out of sync. In the second set the band found their rhythm on Terrapin Station jam, and then the show was closed down due to rain and thunder. Glad to see them as it’s not clear how much longer they have - Phil looked frail

Westville Music Bowl. Amazing Best show

    by Sexysam on 7/25/23

Oh my. I’ve been going to Dead shows since 69. This was the best show I’ve ever seen. The band was smokin hot , totally there for 4 hours . So glad not to have missed this one . She is awesome , his Dear Prudence and vocals on Slipknot spot on perfect. So happy he’s on the path back . And Phil , and the rest of the band. WoW ! I’ll never miss another Phil Show. The Phil Zone is where I live now . Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤️❤️

    PLF 7-21-23

    by Daggers on 7/24/23

Phil's still go it. He and the current iteration of PLF played their hearts out at Leader Bank Pavilion until the weather forced an early end. Wish I could have seen a few more songs, but I can't blame the band for bringing on the storm.

    Fabulous musicianship

    by Kate on 7/24/23

The big band was ablaze despite the downpours and lightening which made everything stop by 9:30pm. Loved the vocalists who played horns ! Both excellent additions to the band. All musicians were TOP NOTCH

    Stormy

    by FOTD on 7/24/23

It was turning into a magical evening until the heavens opened and drenched everything, lots of continuous lightning for 2 hours. The band left in their second set. They made a great effort to stay as long as possible but mother nature won. It was all in the Spirit of Safety. No hard feelings. Hopefully we'll see each other soon.

Show stopped because of weather !

    by TBone on 7/24/23

It's terribly frustrating when you spend around $ 100 for a ticket to a show that gets cancelled for a rainstorm. The band was playing really well and they were told to stop. We missed about an hour plus of music, as we saw the planned setlist.

    Great Show and set list!

    by Chazman009 on 7/24/23

Phil never disappoints and the show at Blue Hills Pavillion was not an exception playing only 10 songs that were perfectly aligned with highlights being Brown Eyed Women That’s What Love Will Make You Do ending the first set with Althea The second set was only 4 songs but they were Jack Straw Mississippi Half Step Eyes of the World and Terrapin Station Wow and all the while a torrential rain and lightning storm was occurring Thanks Phil and Friends!

    Good n bad

    by ThatGDguy on 7/24/23

First off- the "ticket on the phone"thing is the WORST. So many people couldnt get in whcih slowed up the lines, caused mass confusion... the venue is terrific, staff was amazing. Food was really good. The show got cut an hour early due to rain event which was disappointing. Phil was on fire and sounded fantastic.
