  • 1st Time Out

by DrDave on 3/14/23The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

For my wife and I, this was our first time going out to any live show since before COVID...first time at The North Park Observatory (San Diego)...first time seeing Pete live. We discovered Pete from his HBO show "Crashing" and listen to his podcast "You Made It Weird" regularly. Laura Beitz & Matt McCarthy did a great job warming up the crowd. And Pete DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The venue was nice and roomy.

Pete Holmes is hilarious!! I laughed from beginning to end. I loved the comedians he brought with him. I felt like I got a little extra with them because they were both hilarious also!! And was excited to see one was the person in many of his videos. I can’t wait to see Pete Holmes again!!! 👏👏👏👏

by Joe on 1/17/23Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

He was amazing how he was able to read the crowd and entertain. The man really has a comedic talent. My face hurt from laughing so much. Thank you Pete Holmes!

Would recommend anyone to go to a Pete Holmes show. So funny and smart. We were in stitches the whole time.

  • Great Show!

Pete Holms and his opener were both really funny. We have really like Pete Holms since his HBO show and he didn’t disappoint. The Neptune is a great venue for comedy. Best advice get there when the doors open and grab a seat in the bar, these are the best seats in the house in my opinion.

  • Peter killed it

by Eric on 1/17/23Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Can’t remember the openers name, she started slow but ended well. Then pier came on, he was loose from the beginning, and he built the show really good. My date and I laughed so hard. Great show!

Great show. Fun and funny. Wonderful venue. Would reccomend

  • Pete was great. 5 stars to him

by S on 1/15/23Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

If the employees of The Palace of the Fine Arts would stop talking to each other during the performance and distracting the paid guests, that would be great. They’re sitting in chairs off to the side to help people get to their seats which is fine. But after the show starts, they’re having their own loud conversations during his performance. We can hear you the entire time. There’s no need to be talking to each other thanks for ruining my experience. I won’t sit on the end of the isle again.

  • Meh

by MH on 10/19/22Music Box at the Borgata - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

We're big fans of Pete Holmes, but he was working his material out in a very sloppy and unfunny way. It was not entertaining.

  • even better live!

by Jason on 10/18/22Music Box at the Borgata - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan of his for years, and even though I really enjoyed his previous specials, I gotta say: Pete is better live. He seems to have more fun doing standup and his crowd work is something that you can really only get watching in person. I hope he comes back to NJ again sooner than later!

  • Amazing show

by Meg on 10/18/22Music Box at the Borgata - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely hilarious show and he handled some drunk hecklers in the front beautifully. I’m always prepared for a weird audience when i see comedy in a casino but i loved how he handled it!

  • Good night out

Not what I was expecting. Live podcast. Great guests.

  • This guy is a damn genius

by mojomilli on 8/15/20Rating: 5 out of 5

i Just saw one of his stand up comedy shows and laughed harder than I can ever remember laughing. My husband nearly lost it and we had such a good time in our living room which was a refreshing change during covid. I will never look at traffic, my silly body, or this crazy place we live in the same way again! Gotta find a way to see his show in person! In the meantime I’m excited we can still watch him because apparently he has a show on HBO 😆

  • LIFE CHANGING!

by Andie on 6/14/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Pete Holmes for years from his podcast and was excited to hear his ideas live in person and was expecting to be a little let down because I had high expectation. However, seeing him talk about the meaning of life and everything was magical! He was so passionate about what he was saying that I got emotional at times. I relate to his story so much and I am so thankful he is doing what he is doing. I am so so grateful for his realness and that he is talking about spirituality while also laughing at it and making jokes. I want everyone to listen to his podcast and be changed by his ideas but I also know that everyone has a different path.

  • Great night

I really enjoyed Pete’s book tour and it was a thrill to meet him to sign my book.

  • internal experience 10/10

    by K. L. on 6/14/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

such a beautiful and patient human !!! had the best experience listening and laughing from the balcony, looking at/thinking about everyone in the full room and what they might be thinking. The dissonance of enjoying that simplicity while dropping nearly $100 on a ticket, transportation, and drinks did dilute the potency a little though - plus the obnoxious drunk girl next to me that just could not stop trying to be seen/heard by Pete and her entire table.

  • Bookie Bookie Sweet Like a Cookie

by Facey McFaceface on 5/21/19WBUR CitySpace - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Pete and Amory were great in conversation together and it was awesome to hear one of my comedy favorites speaking in a beautifully redesigned venue that capitalized on the combination of both (personal) space and intimacy with the performers.

  • He’s the best

I just really love his honesty and the way he speaks on topics is so captivating

  • Essential spiritual journey

    by I. on 5/21/19WBUR CitySpace - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Pete Holmes is not only a comedy dad to many but also a profound spiritual person. The book covers many different topics and themes but in his talk he focuses mainly on the “God” section. By the end I felt enlightened and ready to take my own spiritual quest. He’s funny, thoughtful, and the best guy to have at a BBQ
