Pete Holmes wrote this bio himself. Pete was the host of the Conan O'Brien companion talk show The Pete Holmes Show, has multiple Comedy Central specials and albums, has written for several television shows and has had his cartoons published in the New Yorker. His favorite food is lettuce and one of his comedy heroes is Ray Romano.
He was everything we expected him to be and more. I love love comedy experiences and he honestly set the bar high for other comedians. Maybe I just really needed this on that particular day, it is now an unforgettable experience on my memory book. Will always be a fan.

Pete was absolutely hilarious!! He kept the crowd engaged, happily dealt with some interesting folks yelling stuff out, and made my friends and I hurt from laughing so much. Fingers crossed he comes back to NOLA over and over again!
So hilarious, and his opening act was hilarious, great audience participation!
Great night. Pete always brings it and this night was no different. Alongside the added bonus of a strong opening and feature, Pete didn't just go through his act but he catered it to this specific audience. Doing crowd work, off the cuff remarks and hilarious riffs. He genuinely seemed to be present with us and the audience right there with him.
My wife and I laughed so hard we were crying, thank you Pete and friends for an amazing night! We had fun the entire time, great crowd and great material. The 2 openers were hysterical too Great show, great night. Can’t wait to see you all again!
For my wife and I, this was our first time going out to any live show since before COVID...first time at The North Park Observatory (San Diego)...first time seeing Pete live. We discovered Pete from his HBO show "Crashing" and listen to his podcast "You Made It Weird" regularly. Laura Beitz & Matt McCarthy did a great job warming up the crowd. And Pete DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The venue was nice and roomy.
Pete Holmes is hilarious!! I laughed from beginning to end. I loved the comedians he brought with him. I felt like I got a little extra with them because they were both hilarious also!! And was excited to see one was the person in many of his videos. I can’t wait to see Pete Holmes again!!! 👏👏👏👏
Long time fan of Pete's projects on the screen! He truly delivered a hilarious performance. Hes so genuine! 10/10 would see again.
He was amazing how he was able to read the crowd and entertain. The man really has a comedic talent. My face hurt from laughing so much. Thank you Pete Holmes!
Would recommend anyone to go to a Pete Holmes show. So funny and smart. We were in stitches the whole time.
Pete Holms and his opener were both really funny. We have really like Pete Holms since his HBO show and he didn’t disappoint. The Neptune is a great venue for comedy. Best advice get there when the doors open and grab a seat in the bar, these are the best seats in the house in my opinion.
Can’t remember the openers name, she started slow but ended well. Then pier came on, he was loose from the beginning, and he built the show really good. My date and I laughed so hard. Great show!

If the employees of The Palace of the Fine Arts would stop talking to each other during the performance and distracting the paid guests, that would be great. They’re sitting in chairs off to the side to help people get to their seats which is fine. But after the show starts, they’re having their own loud conversations during his performance. We can hear you the entire time. There’s no need to be talking to each other thanks for ruining my experience. I won’t sit on the end of the isle again.
We're big fans of Pete Holmes, but he was working his material out in a very sloppy and unfunny way. It was not entertaining.
I've been a fan of his for years, and even though I really enjoyed his previous specials, I gotta say: Pete is better live. He seems to have more fun doing standup and his crowd work is something that you can really only get watching in person. I hope he comes back to NJ again sooner than later!
Absolutely hilarious show and he handled some drunk hecklers in the front beautifully. I’m always prepared for a weird audience when i see comedy in a casino but i loved how he handled it!

i Just saw one of his stand up comedy shows and laughed harder than I can ever remember laughing. My husband nearly lost it and we had such a good time in our living room which was a refreshing change during covid. I will never look at traffic, my silly body, or this crazy place we live in the same way again! Gotta find a way to see his show in person! In the meantime I’m excited we can still watch him because apparently he has a show on HBO 😆
