About

Perpetual Groove has become a rock band. That's the impression fans got when they heard one of the rock & roll tracks from Perpetual Groove's new album, LIVELOVEDIE at the band's sold out New Year's Eve performance. LIVELOVEDIE was produced by Grammy winner Robert Hannon (Outkast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below) and Perpetual Groove. The album was produced with renewable energy through Perpetual Groove's partnership with Tree Sound Studios, Sustainable Waves, and Green Mountain Energy Company and is being released by the environmentally progressive label, Tree Leaf Music.

A celebrated, international touring act for over four years, Perpetual Groove has built a reputation on intense, emotional music that fans call "trance arena rock," and won over legions of fans with their experimentations in live 5.1 concert surround sound, an intense retina blinding light show, and a willingness to keep the connection strong between band and fans. The Athens, GA-based band's riveting live performances have catapulted them into the "must-see" category of live rock bands. With a funky blend of jazz-rock, neo-psychedelia, R&B, trance electronica, progressive rock and anthemic arena rock, the Bonnaroo veterans have conquered the festival circuit and continue to tour relentlessly.

    PGroov'n

by Vincheese on 3/26/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Really good show. Like the Showcase Live venues alot. Met Brock and he was real chill. They put on a stellar show, including a MIA Paper Planes Tease, and a real sick version of Helter Skelter. Highly recommended.

Great show from P Groove. Second time seeing them, very clean, professional performance. Great jams, good lights, highest energy show I've seen. Not a lot of songs in the first set that I've heard before. Very good show. Lar Jar was very high energy as well.

Excellent show! Always great to see P. Groove live, and I'm so glad Richmond is one of their frequent stops. They always bring a lot of energy and a great vibe to The National. If you haven't seen P. Groove live, you don't know what you're missing.

    perpetually late

by TootiredDamon on 1/23/10House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

This show was scheduled for doors open at 7pm, then they changed it to 9pm which means the band went on at 10. They played past midnight. TOOOO late! I wouldn't have bought the tickets if I knew this. I love this band, but I had to work the next morning in Fort Worth. Not cool.

    This concert ROCKED

by Sexyjesus on 1/2/10Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

It was great. The drummer came on stage first and just rocked out to a few different beats. Then the rest of the band came out and just was amazing. The lights and the different thing and songs they played was great. Then for new years they covered the song you can have whatever you like by T.I. It was a great concert!!!

    Amazing Show

by KNGwithOUTaCrwN on 11/14/09The National - Richmond

This show was simply epic. A Halloween night can't get any better than this. 'Space Paranoids' got everything started. It was perfect, as soon as the music was on, the whole venue was in motion. 'TSMM' was GREAT. That was one of the songs I was really hoping Groove would play. Although, it was only the 2nd song of the setlist, it was truly epic for me. Teakwood was sick. It seemed to go on for sooo long and I loved it. Teakwood to Weird Science, back to TEakwood, and then Three Weeks! wow. It was so sweet. P Groove playing Blitzkrieg Bop and ending with Twist and Shout made everyone happy. There was one thing that disappointed me though. I was REALLY hoping P Groove would play 'Walking in Place'. It's my favorite song by them and the entire show i was just waiting and waiting for them to play it. I was even shouting up in the very front asking them to play it, lol. But it never happened. Still a great show though!

Venue was great. Not too hot or to cold. Security was nice and helpful. No problems with will call. Opener, the Bridge, was great. Perpetual Groove was great. They played for 3 hours. Only complaint is the the show started a little bit late.

    PGroove - Simply amazing

by SLevi on 10/17/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

I saw PGroove at Showcase Live last night. Amazing show. This was my fist PGroove concert and I was just blown away by the musical talent of this band. The crowd did not stop dancing, jamming, and grooving all night long. I look forward to enjoying this band for many years to come!

    The Heavy Pets

by Bathtubginny on 7/13/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

The Heavy Pets are, without a doubt the best up-and-coming (actually I think they have already arrived!) rockin' jam band in the country! What a great show!

    Heavy Pets + P-Groove = great time.

by Humdinger on 7/13/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

The Heavy Pets opened with a very fun set. Perpetual Groove was was tight. Played some new music which was good to hear. Very funky show, lead by really funky keyboards. Awesome moment when P-Groove and Pets keys players played together. I'd rate this show as amazing if the Pets could have come on earlier and played longer. Culture Room is a very intimate venue. Always makes for a great experience.

    Perpetual Groove

by Coalminer78 on 7/12/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

I attended Perpetual Groove last night at the Culture Room. I have never been there, but would definitely go back to see any band. The sound was at a good level so it was nice to walk out without my ears ringing! I can honestly say i liked the opening band better, The Heavy Pets, just because there sound is what i enjoy more. I never heard P-Groove live before so that was nice along with descovering a "new" local band with talent! :)
