About

Perpetual Groove has become a rock band. That's the impression fans got when they heard one of the rock & roll tracks from Perpetual Groove's new album, LIVELOVEDIE at the band's sold out New Year's Eve performance. LIVELOVEDIE was produced by Grammy winner Robert Hannon (Outkast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below) and Perpetual Groove. The album was produced with renewable energy through Perpetual Groove's partnership with Tree Sound Studios, Sustainable Waves, and Green Mountain Energy Company and is being released by the environmentally progressive label, Tree Leaf Music.

A celebrated, international touring act for over four years, Perpetual Groove has built a reputation on intense, emotional music that fans call "trance arena rock," and won over legions of fans with their experimentations in live 5.1 concert surround sound, an intense retina blinding light show, and a willingness to keep the connection strong between band and fans. The Athens, GA-based band's riveting live performances have catapulted them into the "must-see" category of live rock bands. With a funky blend of jazz-rock, neo-psychedelia, R&B, trance electronica, progressive rock and anthemic arena rock, the Bonnaroo veterans have conquered the festival circuit and continue to tour relentlessly.

    P. Groove and Consider the Source ROCKED

by ZenBedouin on 3/4/12Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Best P.Groove set I've ever seen, and the opening band was amazing too. Sound was great, lightshow was amazing. Culture room has really become one of my favorite venues to see live music in the past year.

My First P Groove Show....Not My Last!!!

by bmill315 on 1/15/12Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Amazing Set.....played every song i wanted to hear (and i only have a couple of their older albums). Sounded spectacular. Heavy Pets opened. I'd never heard them before but they were pretty damn good as well. My only criticism of their set was the sound level. WAY too loud for the venue. Made everything sound like overlapping static fuzz.....

My first PGroove show was worth it.....

by SigmaTy on 1/5/12Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

I traveled down to Ft. Lauderdale for the PGroove 2-day event, and it was definitely worth it. The venue is a little small, but PGroove rocked it out. Can't wait for another show in the future.

The show was ok for a nye show, but very loud and a loose playing by the band members. And Brock was looking crazy, probably feeling reel good...

    Creative Rock at its best

by Redsail on 8/15/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Thoroughly enjoyed this unique sound, best described as a kind of fusion rock meets an 80's beat . One cut riffed with "Get Down Tonite", was dance-able and made you groove. Talented musicians all, with their own sound.

    Awesome!

by jarheadscott on 1/1/11Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

The show started with a 1 hour solo from the drummer playing to different music! This was awesome and then the band came out and stepped it up another knotch! Their music is such a mixture and just when you think the song is going to end it starts to rev up and keeps right on going!! Each and every song was one that made it impossible not to move to the music. We saw all ages from teenagers to 50ish and all were having an awesome time. I would go and see these guys again and again. It was awesome to say the least!

The opening band was alright. Pgroove put on an awesome show, much better than their last National performance. It seemed like they were really into it and I loved the rap/ Penguin mix :)

    MINDBLOWING BAND

by 13Jameson13 on 9/26/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

These guys are simply unreal. They literally groove perpetually, songs blend into the next, one after the other. Every member of this band is a stellar musician. One of the best live acts out there right now, definitely try to catch them if you can.

Lookin for a laid back, party atmosphere?

by vserg on 6/21/10Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

This band sets the mood for the older crowds looking for a laid back, festive atmosphere but, has psychedelic and reggae qualities that is sure to lure in the new generation of hipsters. The crowd you end up with is a mix of young and old, but with the similar open mindedness that you would expect from a jam band. The venue was the Culture Room and this band made it feel like a little slice of amster.dam. I would recommend this band if your looking to socialize and have a few drinks with a very friendly crowd and listen to some psychedelic/funky/reggae/rock.
