About

Pentatonix are a three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. Their breakthrough came when they won the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011, and they gained further recognition by uploading videos(Opens in new tab) to their YouTube channel. The quintet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200: Pentatonix (2015) and the platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas (2016). Consisting of singers Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Pentatonix have been invited to perform everywhere from The White House to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Lindsey Stirling, and performed with Dolly Parton on her classic hit “Jolene,” which earned Pentatonix a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. The talented singers regularly perform in sold-out arenas worldwide, and have toured with acts like Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Platten and Echosmith.

    I was really excited to hear they were coming to Orlando, but didn't know what to expect from an a capella concert. They blew my mind, showing just how talented they were, with very few mistakes. They were on key, on rhythm, and sounded just as amazing live as they do on their EPs. I will gladly go see them again when they come back.

    After waiting in line at House of Blues Orlando for 40min. We entered the venue to wait at least 45 min. before the back up band began. Then there was another wait of over 30 min. For PTX, the main show. Don't know if all of this is to encourage drink sales, but it almost killed the experience for me . This was a stand up event, so wear comfortable shoes if u attend one. A group standing next to us began getting slightly rowdy near the end and singing loudly. I came to hear the band, not some beer drinkers.....no staff or bouncers were to be seen to keep people in check. With all that being said , Pentatonix is AWESOME and I would endure it all again just to hear them!!!

    I took my 11 year old daughter to see them for her birthday, they were awesome, so talented. We were fan of them on the Sing-Off from the first week, they did songs from the show, their EP, and YouTube videos. I hope they come back we will def go again.

    One year after winning the Sing Off, PTX showed why they won. The group put on a highly interactive show that emphasized the music. They still amaze how 5 people can have that big a sound without any instruments. Hands down, the best live music performance I've ever been at.

    Pentatonix is just as good live as on the sing off as on their album. They are extremely talented, and fun to watch. Avi!! one move Avi, it's fun to watch. Mitch, my man, you need to see Bera at Miami Confidential and get some new duds. The pants and shoes just looked... eh... not so good. Venue, not terribly smokey, but not a great venue. Ok...

    THEY ARE AMAZING LIVE!! You felt the music, you saw their passion and it was incomparable. Because of the Sing-Off, they are able to preform live exquisitely and without flaw. Even if you aren't a big fan of the art of only using your voices, Pentatonix is like no other accapella group you've ever heard. It was the best experience ever and I can't wait until their next concert back in Ft Lauderdale.
