Pentatonix are a three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. Their breakthrough came when they won the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011, and they gained further recognition by uploading videos(Opens in new tab) to their YouTube channel. The quintet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200: Pentatonix (2015) and the platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas (2016). Consisting of singers Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Pentatonix have been invited to perform everywhere from The White House to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Lindsey Stirling, and performed with Dolly Parton on her classic hit “Jolene,” which earned Pentatonix a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. Pentatonix 2025 Tour Dates:
Pentatonix will hit the road for their 2025 holiday tour in early November, beginning with a show in West Valley City, Utah. From there, the group will hit a number of cities across the U.S. through late December.

What an awesome concert! Pentatonix is one of our favorite groups, and they exceeded our expectations! The sound quality was great. Tickets sold so fast, we ended up in the balcony, but it still was an excellent view of the stage. Avi amazed us with his multi-tone singing demonstration. Kevin wowed us with his cello/beatbox number. Kirstie, Scott and Mitch sang their hearts out as well! The crowd (including us) was so energetic and excited. Their singing voices are outstanding. Loved the sing along to "Natural Disaster"!
Totally impressed with the performance of this most talented group of singers. Not only was singing quality great, but we thought they did a great job selecting the program (a nice mix of upbeat numbers, slower ballads, fun medleys, Kevin solo with cello, and a couple of original songs). The venue was perfect for the type of program (a beautifully restored old movie house rather than large stadium) and shout out to whoever designed the lighting effects - they were outstanding without being distracting and enhanced the overall performance. Major complaint that had nothing to do with PTX - Ticketmaster and/or Orphium Theater advertised event as starting at 6:30 pm (tickets were marked 6:30 as well) and show did not start until 8:00. Most of the audience showed up at 6:15 (3,000 ticket holders) and had to wait almost 2 hours to see show :-(
An amazing concert! We all had a great time and are looking forward to the next one!!
I can't really put it into words as to how much of an amazing experience this was. I was able to purchase the Ultimate VIP package and every dollar was worth it. From the soundcheck access to the private performance, to the live concert, it was an unforgettable experience. PTX sounds amazing on stage and off stage. I had great seating, I was right up on the front row, and the sound was fantastic. If I could relive this event again, I totally would.
The "light show" and theatrics dominated the event rather than the songs. The base sounds at the Orpheum Theatre were way to loud and "drowned out" the harmony of the great Pentatonix voices. They sounded better on the "Sing Off" on TV due to professional audio mixing that focused on the voices.
I FIRST "MET" THEM AS I WATCHED THE SING OFF COMPETITION. I EASILY PICKED THEM TO WIN AFTER THE THIRD WEEK. I THOUGHT WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY IT WOULD BE TO HEAR THEM LIVE. THANK YOU FOR HAVING THE CONCERT IN THE BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED ORPHEUM THEATER! THE SHOW WAS CRAFTED BEAUTIFULLY, VOCALLY EXCEPTIONAL, AND SPECIAL LIGHT EFFECTS COMPLIMENTED THEIR VOICES PERFECTLY. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WOULD BE- IS THAT THE ENTIRE BOTTOM SEATING LEVEL JUMPED TO THEIR FEET AFTER THE SECOND NOTE- MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR MY HANDICAPPED BROTHER TO SEE ANY OF THE PERFORMANCE AND WE WERE IN THE THIRD ROW. (I GUESS I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT RESPONSE). HE SAID HE ENJOYED WATCHING THE PERFORMANCE VIA PEOPLE CELL PHONES RECORDING IT. MY BROTHER PURCHASED THEIR CDS FOR FUTURE ENJOYMENT. THEY HAVE A NEW FAN. ALL IN ALL A LONG FUN NIGHT NO WAITING OUTSIDE IN A LONG LINE WHILE IT RAINED WOULD HAVE MADE IT A PERFECT NIGHT.
This is my first time seeing the band live. Enjoyed their energy, nice mix of songs. The Orpheum theater was classic. Nice meet & greet time.
What a talented and entertaining group to watch! My 8 year old really enjoyed it too. :)
The Pentatonics are an awesome group. They have unlimited talent and energy. I would absolutely recommend seeing them if you have the chance. However, I did not care for the Orpheum Theater. It is in downtown LA, which sucks. We sat in the balcony. The theater was built in the '20's. We kept thinking that if there was a fire - which is likely in a 90-year-old building, we would never get out alive. Also, the Pentatonics use a ridiculous light show. Most of the lights point out into the audience. These lights were BLINDING in the balcony. I totally recommend the Pentatonics - I love them! I will NEVER go back to the Orpheum Theater.
Pentatonix was absolutely incredible, and there's nothing that could have made the concert better (except a personal serenade), but I loved the concert.
What a great show! The Orpheum Theatre was beautiful. The food court was very good. We had the pulled pork sliders (2) w/side salad for $10 a plate. Glass of red wine for $7. We were seated in the balcony - the view was very good. Saw the stage and could see Pentatonix well enough. Pentatonix was great - they were well rehearsed and so much fun to watch!
Pentatonix is by far the best live group i've ever seen. They sing so well and they are all 5 so talented!
This is a phenominal group that is primarily known by what they put up on their website and YouTube. The audience was looking forward to hearing what they knew and loved and Pentatonix delivered to the max! They must have been exhausted at the end of such a long tour, but they didn't show it. Nothing too fancy with the stage setting, just great music. Perfect. We'll look for them again next year...somewhere.
On a night when the doors opened 30 minutes late and the line to get in wrapped around the block, everyone in attendance quickly forgot the annoyances as soon as Pentatonix came out on stage. The beautiful, small Orpheum theater was a perfect venue for the acapella group and they did not dissapoint. Amazing vocals, interesting staging and generally good pace made this a great show to hear and see. Check them out the next time they are in town.

After this concert, I could not stop smiling. From the moment they started singing to the second they popped the confetti, I was enthralled. I will never forget the concert or the memories I made there. They definitely don't disappoint live. If you are a fan of Pentatonix or a cappella as a whole, you will be mesmerized. It is days later and I am still thinking about it.
Fantastic show! All of their voices were strong, and harmonies were tight. On VERY few occasions...a flat/sharp note, but almost as soon as you heard it, it was fixed. A true sign of their professionalism. As anyone knows who has heard PTX, arrangements are astonishing and masterfully done. I will definitely see them again, God willing. Thanks PTX for a great evening!!!
The instrumentless group that sounds like they have a band an sing effortlessly. There is no wonder they won the sing off. They're timing is impeccable as it has to be to perform their songs and seemless routines. Up tempo songs to ballads make this group fun and very versitle in their delivery. They showcase some of their individual abilities during the show and they are simply amazing. A must see! I plan to look for them to return so that I can bring some friends. Don't miss this show. We saw them at them orpheum in Los Angles which is a smaller venue. The accoustics assist in the show casing of their voices.
