The venue was cold with cold air blowing on us. Disappointed in the use of instrumental accompaniment. We thought it was all acapella.
Excellent staging and presentation to show off their vocal talents! A holiday treat! Great energy…worth the money!
This was my third time seeing Pentatonix in St. Louis(at the Fabulous Fox in 2017 and at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in 2019). It was my first time seeing their Christmas tour It was really fun, because I got to hear old favorite Christmas songs, as well as hearing new ones from their newest album, “Christmas In the City”. I’ve been a fan since they released their first self-titled album, “Pentatonix” in 2016!
The concert was amazing! However, I purchased parking ahead of time and the lot was very sketchy and quite aways from the venue. We did not feel comfortable and ended up paying for parking again just to be closer and feel safe.
They sang to cheesy VERY loud Holiday music for most of the show which was a huge bummer. We came to see A capella. Talented group but felt like we were watching a cruise ship Vegas show for an elaborate kids party.
I was frankly disappointed in the extent of the additional canned music, often quite loud that tended to drown out their vocals. I don't go to Pentatonix to hear organ, drums (not done by Kevin et al), and additional musical instruments. I want their pure voices. Too few songs hit that mark. The lights, showmanship I can understand with a new Xmas show, but it was intense att times and also distracted from the wonderful harmonies they produce. Perhaps the venue didn't help, not the best acoustically. Will I see them again. Highly likely but I hope they stick to their roots.
This was not only my first pentatonix concert but my curry concert. Loved the show.
to much background music i like them as themselves background music to loud sometimes hard to understand them the electric cello was a little much and the light show to go with it did not like
I was excited to experience acapella with my family. And the parts that were acapella were fantastic! But for some reason, they found it necessary to have background music during several songs. Which just ruined the whole a cappella experience.
What a show! The stage and lights were great. Variety of Christmas music along with newly written songs make it a family event for all ages. Definitely recommend. 🎅🌲
Pentatonix was absolutely amazing! I hope they will come to STL annually!!
Loved the harmonizing. The cello and drum performance was exceptional!
I have loved and followed Pentatonix for years, but I have never been to a concert. I told myself that is the only concert I would pay money for, so when they came to town, I jumped on the opportunity. The backdrop to the stage had some very bright, flashy lights, and we were in a spot where there was always a very bright light in your face/eyes at all times. I instantly started to get a headache. We also had to look completely to the left the whole time, and my neck started to ache. They sounded great; they sang some classic/cheesy Christmas songs. I was hoping they would have performed more of their a capella tracks; lots of the songs even had real instrumental track behind them. I loved when they came to the other end of the Enterprise Center and stood right in front of us and performed a few songs a capella. That was really neat, and my neck wasn't cramping due to looking left the whole time. They started about 30 minutes later than expected and took a 15-minute intermission, and it was over at 9:45, so all in all they performed for about 2 hours. It was a Sunday night, so everyone was ready to get home. They said goodnight, and we started to leave, and then they decided to sing two more songs, which one of them was my favorite song, Hallelujah, but why not just do it before you end the show? Overall, I thought it was a bit cheesy, way too flashy and severely overpriced. You could also purchase a $45 cotton t-shirt to remember the event!
Pentatonix delivered an unbelievably amazing concert that completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment they stepped on stage, the energy, talent, and chemistry of the group electrified the entire venue. Their harmonies were flawless, powerful, and emotionally moving — a true showcase of why they remain at the top of the a cappella world. Each performance felt masterfully crafted, blending breathtaking vocal precision with dynamic choreography and engaging visuals. Whether it was their iconic arrangements or surprising musical moments, the audience was captivated from start to finish. The sound quality was crystal clear, allowing every beatbox, harmony layer, and solo to shine. What truly set the night apart was how connected Pentatonix felt with the crowd. Their genuine joy, humor, and heartfelt gratitude created an intimate atmosphere despite the massive scale of the performance. It wasn’t just a concert — it was a full sensory experience that left everyone smiling, inspired, and wanting more. An amazingly fantastic performance that will be remembered long after the final note faded. If you ever have the chance to see Pentatonix live, do not hesitate — it’s an unforgettable musical experience!
The show was wonderful and they are such talented singers, but they did not play three very classic songs and instead performed some new stuff, like Christmas in Paris! Why that song? They did not perform Sleigh Ride, Here Comes Santa Claus & What Christmas Means to Me! Could have been a better show if they performed the all their classics.
Our seats were good and the performance was entertaining ! Rather short show but I suppose using your voices like that gets tiring. Was surprised that there was an intermission
The voices are incredible, as always. But the production value is on par with those amazing voices. Great song choices. Loved the TikTok! 😍. Absolutely got us into the holiday spirit!
Pentatonix were great performers and entertainers. It was a blast!
Pentatonix kept the audience engaged the entire night with their extraordinary voices and constant talking to the audience.
