Pensacola Ice Flyers at Pensacola Bay Center
The Pensacola Ice Flyers are the sole professional hockey team on Florida's Emerald Coast. Their downtown location and family-friendly on-ice entertainment offers a unique experience that is enjoyable for all ages. With 28 home games scheduled throughout the season, attendees can stop by the Pensacola Bay Center beginning each October to watch the exhilarating action. The Ice Flyers host theme nights including Dog Race Nights, Star Wars Night, Mardi Gras Night, Bushwackers Night, and multiple Military Appreciation Nights. Single-Game Tickets start at an affordable $17, while a range of Season Ticket plans are available to cater to every budget and schedule.
Pensacola Ice Flyers Background
The Pensacola Ice Flyers were founded in 2009, following the Ice Pilots who had been part of the ECHL since 1996. The team began playing at the Pensacola Bay Center in the 2009-10 season as a member of the SPHL. Since then, the Ice Flyers have become one of the top teams in the league, winning multiple championships and making a significant impact on the community. The team is owned by Greg Harris, who took over in 2012. With four President's Cup championships, they are tied for most in league history. Their attendance numbers consistently rank in the top three in the league. The Ice Flyers will celebrate their 15th anniversary during the 2023-24 season.
Took my kid to see his first ever hockey game. I grew up in the Midwest and played 28 consecutive years of organized hockey. It was neat to see my kid get excited about the action!
Can’t beat the experience! Games are always competitive and the atmosphere is always great.
We went on $5 weekend, can’t beat a $40 Saturday night, it was me my husbands and sons first hockey game ever. It was so much fun! I can see why people love hockey, a must go see when in Pensacola.

This was my third time at an Ice Flyers game. They always play a great game and have fun crowd interactions. Most people think hockey is boring, but my fam isn't into sports at all and we love hockey games! 10/10

Hockey is the most exciting live sport to watch, and the match Friday was a great example. The Pensacola Bay Center and Pensacola Ice Flyers put on a great event in a fun, family friendly environment. Looking forward to the playoffs!

The game itself was great. The problem was I did not know the seats had obstructed views prior to purchasing them. That would’ve been something I would have liked to of known before I bought them. Being from out of town and new to that arena I would not have known something like that.

As I said, the game was fast and exciting. We have seats with excellent view. The Bay Arena is easy to access. The only thing that I want changed is the sound system volume, IT IS VERY LOUD to the point of being hard to understand. It takes away some of the enjoyment of the game
We are new to the area and my son loves hockey so we thought we give it a go. We had so much fun. Very exciting and not a bad seat anywhere. Definitely recommend !!
A small group of friends decided to go to a Ice Flyers game as something new to do on a Saturday night. Our seats were mid-ice across from the player benches and high enough to see the entire ice. The game was exciting and as usual there were a few altercations. Normal Hockey play. The best part was that the home team won 13 to 3.
Tons of fun for the whole family! Love seeing hockey in this small southern town, especially when the Ice Flyers win!
We lost by score but won every one of the multiple fights. Definitely a LOT of action that night out on the ice. Best game so far!
Purchased three glass seat tickets but could not get them together. We sat where there were open seats by my daughters friends. This is where we usually sit at games because the seats are open. We happily move if someone shows up to claim their seat. So, it is the beginning of the third period and an usher walks up to me and rudely asked me if those were my seats and if I could show him my tickets. After telling him my daughter has the tickets on her phone and she went to the concession stand, the usher stands behind me against the wall like I was stealing a seat! 😡 My daughter gets back and shows the ride usher our tickets Although our tickets were not for those exact seats, we did have seats on the same row but not close to her friends. We gladly moved. What made this whole scene infuriating was the owner’s wife showed up at the THIRD period and I accidentally sat in her seat! She needed one seat. Did I mention there SIX seats not taken by this time?! No one in six seats and she needed one of them but we had to move! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! I will never forget how I was treated and Ice Flyers lost three fans!
The game it’s self was enjoyable. The lines for drinks were outrageous and the price I paid for these tickets did not match the others sitting in the same area. I was very annoyed knowing I payed triple what they did!!!
Very good evening. Our first hockey game definitely not the last. A lot of fun! Very good entertainment the whole time. Food and beer reasonably priced.
Ended up being late to the game due to unforseen delays. Box office was still open because it was Star Wars night. We were able to breeze right through due to having the tickets on my phone.
