Pensacola Ice Flyers Background
The Pensacola Ice Flyers were founded in 2009, following the Ice Pilots who had been part of the ECHL since 1996. The team began playing at the Pensacola Bay Center in the 2009-10 season as a member of the SPHL. Since then, the Ice Flyers have become one of the top teams in the league, winning multiple championships and making a significant impact on the community. The team is owned by Greg Harris, who took over in 2012. With four President's Cup championships, they are tied for most in league history. Their attendance numbers consistently rank in the top three in the league. The Ice Flyers will celebrate their 15th anniversary during the 2023-24 season.

The Venue was clean, organized, and suprisingly attentive and eager to assist floor staff.
Love my first hockey game. But the seats were horrible. Super narrow we were squashed in the seats. No comfort at all.
Star Wars night was totally rad and super awesome!!!! The flyers used the force to blow up the Death Star AND crush those dirty rail yard dogs!!
Had a blast with my little brother! They keep the crowd engaged from start to finish! Do yourself a favor and go every chance you can!
The game was great. The experience was great. But the tickets were overpriced, and the food was even MORE overpriced. They need to clarify that student discounts for tickets only apply to awful seats. Otherwise, I would have bought my tickets online for cheaper. A frustrating experience at the ticket office.
Incredible fan base in Pensacola…so much fun! Great venue and environment. We. Will. Be. Back!! Let’s Go Flyers!!!!!
Ice Flyers games are always a blast. It was even better to see a win!
The game was great it was a great opening night for the start back of hockey loved everything aboutit
Don’t sit by the benches. Game was awesome, beer is 10$.
Been to several games here. Every time I go it is a good experience. The people are great and everything is a decent price.
First ever Ice Hockey game for my spouse and I and we had a great time. We enjoyed watching the game and will definitely be back.
It was our first ice hockey game and they did not disappoint us! It was exciting and we will definitely be back!
Section 102 next to the penalty box turned out to be a very good seat. This was my first hockey game and I enjoyed it even though our home team lost. Concessions are a bit pricey, but that is the same everywhere. Also, be aware the Pensacola Bay Center is a cashless venue. I did not mind the media breaks but there were too many of them in my opinion. Parking was breeze compared to other events I have attended at the Bay Center. Overall, I had a good time, but I wish Pensacola would build a new venue as the Bay Center is old and outdated. Let's Go Flyer's!
Everything about the Pensacola Ice Flyers games are fun! For the price of tickets we go often.
We absolutely love going to see the Ice Flyers and have been to many games, unfortunately here recently they stopped taking cash for food and drinks. I only use cash and not cards so I was unable to purchase my food and drinks for my family. Also there is a serious lack of ushers to stop people from going up and down the steps during play time. There were a few customers that were in line and also not happy they do not accept cash anymore, I feel this is a mistake on the venues part and they should accept cash. They lost at least one sale just from me not buying my items so I am sure they lost more as well.
Went to get a beer at the beginning of the 2nd period and did not get it until under 5 min left in the period. Line moved so slow, guys behind the counter moved at a snails pace. The plexiglass divider also did not allow the guy to hear what everyone was ordering, so they had to talk closer to each other around the side of the cart. Makes zero sense.
Bought popcorn right when we got there, looked around at the different things as we found our seats. Enjoyed the game ,so happy yall got all those stuffed animals,as I had forgot mine at home...Game was awesome! Hope all the players are doing well after all hades breaking out at the end... Loved the score 3-0 PIF!!!!!
Great hockey game at Pensacola Bay Center! The venue was easy access off the highway. Security checkpoints were fast and efficient. Staff was friendly and facility was clean and well maintained.
We had an excellent time. Will definitely return soon.
