Pensacola Ice Flyers at Pensacola Bay Center
The Pensacola Ice Flyers are the sole professional hockey team on Florida's Emerald Coast. Their downtown location and family-friendly on-ice entertainment offers a unique experience that is enjoyable for all ages. With 28 home games scheduled throughout the season, attendees can stop by the Pensacola Bay Center beginning each October to watch the exhilarating action. The Ice Flyers host theme nights including Dog Race Nights, Star Wars Night, Mardi Gras Night, Bushwackers Night, and multiple Military Appreciation Nights. Single-Game Tickets start at an affordable $17, while a range of Season Ticket plans are available to cater to every budget and schedule.
Pensacola Ice Flyers Background
The Pensacola Ice Flyers were founded in 2009, following the Ice Pilots who had been part of the ECHL since 1996. The team began playing at the Pensacola Bay Center in the 2009-10 season as a member of the SPHL. Since then, the Ice Flyers have become one of the top teams in the league, winning multiple championships and making a significant impact on the community. The team is owned by Greg Harris, who took over in 2012. With four President's Cup championships, they are tied for most in league history. Their attendance numbers consistently rank in the top three in the league. The Ice Flyers will celebrate their 15th anniversary during the 2023-24 season.
Always have a great time at the games. Only issue is ridiculously long concession lines. Good food available, but because of the lines, recommend you eat before you go, then get multiple drinks for everyone when you get in line.
Lots of young people and kids go to the games. Great family-friendly environment! My son loved it!!
Ice Flyers are an entertaining team to watch. Tickets are affordable. Concessions are volunteer based and are relatively slow as a result. Get there early if you want to buy snacks. Otherwise a very positive experience!
Music was great. Game was exciting and even better because they won. The concession lines were a little long, but expected.
Got tickets last minute. Got good seats but the surcharge was a bit much. Disappointed with the seat selection as there were many empty seats but TicketMaster on showed a few locations with 3 seats. Because if this we were crammed into a section full of people with empty seats all around. Should have just gone to the box office.
Great game. Enjoyed the Pensacola Bay Center. Was excited to find a Pensacola Bay Brewery kiosk as well.
The Pensacola Ice Flyers never fail to offer great entertainment, and the fans love them! Energy was up, moods were high, and the game was great to experience as always.
First time i had been back in the Hangar since last season. The Hangar was clean. Need to get more fans in. The energy was definitely lacking.
Game was great even though we lost...Bay Center was terrible, didn't open all the concession stands so there was long lines. The sound system SUCKS, can't understand what is being said and they have it set TOO LOUD trying to compensate for a poor system. TURN IT DOWN !!!!
Me,my wife and my niece went to the ice flyers game for my birthday! We had the best time.. me and my wife have went to the games before but it was a first for my niece.. she’s already ready to attend another game
Awesome game at the Bay Center in Pensacola. Ticket master app was the main problem. Couldn't download the tickets unless I was on wifi. Wouldn't work on cell signal but other apps would. Had to screen shot the tickets to get them scanned. Wont use ticket master again.
We sat front row and had an up close experience of the action! Best way to experience a hockey game! We had so much fun!
Longtime Stars fans relocated to Pensacola from Dallas after 18yrs. We missed our Stars and the NHL ever since our move. This was our first SPHL game and we were very impressed. The atmosphere was electric. Fan participation was equal to or better than the NHL level games and the play was very good. High energy, great hits and it didn't hurt that we won 4 sec into overtime. Food was reasonably priced. Parking was convenient and tickets are cheap. Way to go Pensacola Bay Center, Ice Flyer fans and the Ice Flyers! We are looking into season tickets and planning our future with our new team!
My husband and I drove into town for a game in celebration of his birthday. I love this arena! And the Ice Flyers fan base is amazing! The game was great, the audience was engaged, and we had a great time. We will definitely be going back; the hour drive is totally worth it!

Would not let us bring in my purse or my friends back pack. Nothing in ANY documentation that they were prohibited. The concessions were lacking non carbonated drinks. When the Mayhem player got a hat trick and we threw our hat to recognize him as I’d the hockey protocol, the announcer yelled over the speaker not to throw anything on the ice.
I bought three seats next to the players bench, Section 115, Row C, Seats 4, 5, 6. We could only see less than half of the ice. The hockey sticks were lined up behind the players creating a wall that could not be seen through. The seats should be sold with a disclaimer of "limited view". Very disappointing!
Ticketmaster has always been dependable and professional! I have never had a bad experience when doing business with Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster will always be my go to site for tickets to any and all events!!!
I had great seats... just one row away from the ice. However, we were sitting next to the rest area where the opponent players sit and it was really hard to see what happened on the other side of the ice/game. Great seats but can’t see the whole ice/game-blocked view.
My wife and I along with our little guy had an amazing time. It was great hockey, the crowd was fired up, and we walked away with some beads from Mardi Gras night. It was affordable and everyone walked away with a smile.
