PENNYWISE IN CONCERT:
Punk rock legends Pennywise have been an emblem of SoCal surf and skate culture ever since their self-titled 1991 debut. As one of the most successful independent punk outfits of all time, Pennywise elevated bros to sacred status with seminal punk anthems like "Bro Hymn" and "Living for Today," building a massive following that still turns out in full force for their moshpit-heavy live shows. With a new album due out in 2014 — their first with original lead singer Jim Lindberg since 2008's Reason to Believe — the band promises to pull out all the stops on their upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Southern California in 1988 and named after the killer clown from Stephen King's novel It, Pennywise released several EPs before their self-titled 1991 debut LP established them as a dominant force in SoCal's burgeoning punk scene. As one of seminal label Epitaph's flagship bands, Pennywise released a string of taut, anthemic albums throughout the '90s, working their way into the mainstream by the 1995 release of third album About Time. That album cracked the Billboard 200, a veritable coup for indie punk and a feat the band would repeat with each subsequent album — including 2012's All or Nothing, the band's tenth studio album.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The energy during the entire show was awesome and you could feel the love and respect everyone was channeling when Pennywise took the stage. They played hit after hit..."
Awesome show. Awesome venue. Openers were really good too.
Nice staff. Good space. Fun atmosphere. Understood the punk show vibe, community and antics pretty well.
Great show!! It was so great to see a real mosh pit in action!
Band was great, and venue was awesome! Drinks were expensive, but that's the way it is at all concerts now.
Huge fan of all 3 bands. A Wilhelm Scream is amazing live and the reason I drove 2 hours was for Anti-Flag and they did not disappoint. They sounded exactly like their albums. Everything was on point. Pennywise I've seen several times the original lead singer is back. They do covers so wear your favorite band tee
Pennywise put on an awesome show this time and every other time I have seen them in the past.
Great sound, stage presence, good venue. Parking is horrible, but worth it.
Feels like a huge party in your back yard with all your friends. Pennywise never disappoints! Mosh pit went off but everyone helped when someone fell, JIM ROCKED IT AS USUAL. As long as theyre playing, Ill be going!

Awesome, but wanted more Unwritten Law..love Scott
Stoked Jim's back with the band wasn't the same. They played a lot of old school stuff and took requests.
All 4 bands were very energetic, including pennywise. Jim interacted with the crowd a lot by hi fivin them and asking for song suggestions.
Great show! We love Fletcher! Always a great show with Pennywise!

Great Show. Loved the PW25 piano opening. Very packed house.
Sick concert, but that's obvious given the lineup.
