Penn & Teller On Tour
Not exactly comedians but more than just magicians, Penn & Teller bring a quirky combination of laughs and illusions to every performance. You're ready to laugh before they even trot out their tricks, with the big, brash Penn Jillette towering over his staid, unspeaking partner Teller. And once they dip into the bag of tricks they've been perfecting since the 1970s, you're simultaneously dazzled and delighted. Whether they're working with things like magic bullets, nail guns, and straitjackets, or just employing a seemingly ordinary deck of cards to demonstrate some sleight of hand, the duo can make you doubt your own senses as they appear to make the impossible happen right before your eyes. Sometimes they toss a touch of danger into the mix, and sometimes they simply play the whole thing for laughs, but whatever illusion they're unveiling, Penn & Teller can always pull it off.
Penn & Teller Background
America's most famous magic/comedy duo actually started out as a trio in the '70s, but when third member Weir Chrisemer left in 1981, Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller (who has always gone by just his surname) continued on together, and it was then that their star began to rise. With TV appearances on such shows as Late Night With David Letterman and Saturday Night Live, a series of Broadway shows, and their own Emmy-winning special on PBS, Penn & Teller carved out a niche in show business and became household names in the process. In the years that followed, they became TV personalities in their own right, first with a Showtime series and then with Fool Us on the CW. They've earned their own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. They've appeared in music videos by Run-DMC and Katy Perry. They've established a record-breaking residency in Las Vegas. And throughout all of these accomplishments, Penn & Teller have shown that a big, loud guy and a small, silent guy can make people gasp and guffaw at the same time.

Very nice how they included the audience in much of what was happening.
This duo has been part of our lives for as long as I can remember, first seeing them on television and then we had to see them in person. We loved meeting them and getting our photos with them, but last time in 2023 because of the pandemic, they had quit the photo sessions. We were so disappointed. Maybe next time? We will be back in 2025!
I've seen Penn & Teller's show on TV but their live performance sure is something else. I love their magic but, more than anything else, I truly enjoy their comedic delivery that makes the show memorable. Penn & Teller's live performance was very well thought out and organized. Their show flowed so flawlessly that it ended on a natural high note and everyone in attendance couldn't help but stand up to give them a standing ovation as Penn & Teller bid their goodbye.
Plenty laughs, some dated material and some magic. Good for the fans. Clever tricks. Too much time criticising other magicians, illusionists and Cirque du Soleil.
No show lasts this long without being good it's all new and truly excellent thanks
3rd visit over many years, with family seeing for first time Slick, fun and top of their game…. GOAT??
Good family entertainment. Fun. Involved audience. Really enjoyed the show.
I had seen reviews stating foul language and not suitable for children, this is 100% not the case. The show was brilliant fun and involved a lot of audience participation including young children. The magic tricks are such fun and one in particular had everyone in stitches. If you like Penn and Teller then buy tickets, you won’t regret it.
I have been a fan of P&T for 20 years. This was my first opportunity to check out the Rio show. I was not disappointed they are as irreverent and clever as ever! Go see them before it’s too late!
Penn and Teller are very interactive with the crowd. This was an awesome show. If you are a fan and you have never seen them in person, don't hesitate to get tickets! The theater was very nice too.
We had a wonderful time. The show lived up to our expectations. Loved it!
Masters at the craft and they make it so much fun for all ages. They masbate to get the entire audience involved for the whole show. Also enjoyed the Fool Us featured guest.
As part of our 44th Wedding Anniversary celebration we attended the Absolute Best Show in Vegas and would come back again! An emersed audience seemingly took centerstage as Penn & Teller invited us into their world! Completely engaging show from beginning to end.
What a joy it is to watch such accomplished talented veterans of magic and comedy ply their trade. The surly vocal Penn never disappoints and Teller with his poignant non-verbal gestures and facial displays of communication are simply unexampled. The duo seems to be maturing like a fine peated scotch; always implementing new material as the aforementioned spirit would develop new flavors. They always keep me laughing and guessing. I love them for this. As a repeat customer, I cannot recommend them enough.
Love the enthusiasm of the show lots of audience participation. Totally amazing. Loved it
My husband and I were really excited to see a live show of the magicians we have enjoyed on TV for quite a while. Unfortunately, we were both incredibly disappointed with both the quality and content of the show. Penn did alot of talking. Of course Teller did none. :) However very few actual tricks were performed. Those that were, were far less than impressive. The entire show seemed tired and quite amateur, not deserving of our admiration or money. Lesson learned: Well-known does not = quality. :(
Tremendous experience that shows you don’t need swearing and sexual content to entertain. I’m no prude and enjoy all kind of shows
I loved the intimate theater and the magic and humor was entertaining all night. I liked how they involve the audience . I still can’t figure out how they do it but it was great
I really enjoyed this show and would gladly attend again if in the area. The “stooge” bit went on a little long, but the whole show was just fantastic!
