Penn & Teller On Tour

Not exactly comedians but more than just magicians, Penn & Teller bring a quirky combination of laughs and illusions to every performance. You're ready to laugh before they even trot out their tricks, with the big, brash Penn Jillette towering over his staid, unspeaking partner Teller. And once they dip into the bag of tricks they've been perfecting since the 1970s, you're simultaneously dazzled and delighted. Whether they're working with things like magic bullets, nail guns, and straitjackets, or just employing a seemingly ordinary deck of cards to demonstrate some sleight of hand, the duo can make you doubt your own senses as they appear to make the impossible happen right before your eyes. Sometimes they toss a touch of danger into the mix, and sometimes they simply play the whole thing for laughs, but whatever illusion they're unveiling, Penn & Teller can always pull it off.

Penn & Teller Background

America's most famous magic/comedy duo actually started out as a trio in the '70s, but when third member Weir Chrisemer left in 1981, Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller (who has always gone by just his surname) continued on together, and it was then that their star began to rise. With TV appearances on such shows as Late Night With David Letterman and Saturday Night Live, a series of Broadway shows, and their own Emmy-winning special on PBS, Penn & Teller carved out a niche in show business and became household names in the process. In the years that followed, they became TV personalities in their own right, first with a Showtime series and then with Fool Us on the CW. They've earned their own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. They've appeared in music videos by Run-DMC and Katy Perry. They've established a record-breaking residency in Las Vegas. And throughout all of these accomplishments, Penn & Teller have shown that a big, loud guy and a small, silent guy can make people gasp and guffaw at the same time.

  • A fantastic family friendly show

by ML on 10/13/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

There were 8 of us that came to town for the Eagles and someone suggested we see Penn & Teller while we were in Vegas. Everyone in my group had a fantastic time and one member of our party was even brought up on stage to participate in one of Teller's acts. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for some good family fun!

  • What a Fun Evening!

by SuzMav on 9/2/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Penn & Teller put on a fun show - days later, we are still talking about it! After 50 years together, they are still full of surprises and tricks, and we recommend the show to all.

  • As great as expected.

by Mrs. P on 8/25/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The Penn & Teller 50th anniversary performance at Radio City Music Hall was great. Just what I expected. I’ve seen their show “Fool Us,” so I knew how they interacted w audiences these days. Great props, and as they said several well-deserved times, their support staff are phenomenal.

  • Phenomenal Show! Exceptional Experience!!

by Michael D. on 8/25/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I was absolutely thrilled to have experienced this! I scheduled an entire trip to NYC just for this event and was not disappointed. I have never seen Penn & Teller live and am so glad that I was able to experience their show live in what could be their final year of touring. This was my third trip to New York and my girlfriend's first. Radio City Music Hall was a wonderful experience and an absolutely beautiful setting to experience the show in. I still cannot believe we got to experience the show in breathtaking New York City!

  • interesting but a bit disappointing

by Flix on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Many of the tricks took too long to set up. In general, the concepts were the same for almost every trick but with different execution. Random answers obviously manipulated to get the results they want. Penn's banter was comedic and fun but sometimes a bit to strong for the kids. It was enjoyable but they've been better in the past.

  • The 401k Tour

by Leedee on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

I can’t even express how disappointed I was with this show. Silly tricks that would have been more impressive if a child did them….but I get it they’re older and this was the cherry on their retirement account. We left during intermission, yes it was that bad.

  • Teller Penn I’d like to see “Bigger Magic”

by FanBase 101 on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

I always wanted to see Penn & Teller. Being close to home and the 50th anniversary, how could I pass this up. The venue was great. The show was good but a tad disappointing. I would have liked to have seen a few more larger tricks. Most were small and couldn’t really see, except for the tv monitor…..but who wants to look at that at a live show. Best trick was the monkey appearing on the chair. All tricks were good I had a really good time just wish there were bigger magic.

  • Not the Right Venue

by Tudie on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Penn & Teller are great and so is Radio City Music Hall. However, the venue is just too large for a magic & Illusion show. We sat in the mezzanine and although there were large screens to view the stage, it just isn't the same as seeing them perform in a more intimate setting. We thought they were simply wonderful with all of the children who came on stage.

  • Disappointing

by LDC on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

It was very disappointing. I was them in Vegas awhile ago and it was spectacular. Catching bullets in their teeth, bleeding flowers, this was just very ordinary for them.

  • Okay

by Cosmopolitanism on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I’ve seen them twice before years ago. They were good but the Wow factor is gone for me. Also, I saw half the tricks online. Oh well

  • Sad to say the show was terrible

by Lizl on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Painfully bad show - Rockefeller Center great venue of course. But not a laugh or impressive bit in the whole overly long show. Sorry guys!

  • Awesome, funny show.

by Brian the Plumber on 8/24/25Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I've loved these guys since "Penn and Teller got Killed"and everything they've done. This however was the first time seeing them live and it was incredible.

  • Good fun.

by Mary on 8/14/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

We truly enjoyed the show and were sad it was over so quickly. They keep a good steady pace throughout and engage the crowd seamlessly.

  • Penn & Teller

by Mahinda on 8/13/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

The tricks were very good. The show was very short Hope it was longer. Only a very few magic tricks during the presentation

  • Penn & Teller at Their Best

by BriCurry on 8/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Penn & Teller redefine what a magic show can be. They mix large-scale illusions with razor-sharp humor, thought-provoking twists, and an honesty about the craft that somehow makes the magic even more astonishing.

  • Go see O at the Bellagio

by Yikes I would not recommend it on 8/5/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

Don’t expect much and you’ll be happy with the show

  • They Did Not Disappoint

by Heather on 7/29/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Penn and Teller put on an engaging and entertaining performance, especially with their unique blend of magic and comedy. They were very funny and there were lots of interactive audience involvement activities. I enjoyed the tricks and loved all the musical involvements of the show. I highly recommend!

  • Meh, Outdated Schtick

by tenn on 7/23/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The tricks are good, if not all a little similar to each other. Penn's schtick is outdated, and the whole show feels like it hasn't really changed since the 90s. Was really looking forward to it, left kind of disappointed. In today's Vegas, it just doesn't stand up to some of the other shows.

  • Unforgettable experience!

by Fayd on 7/17/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I'd seen Penn & Teller live after 40 years of being a fan. It exceeded my expectations (although there were no death-defying tricks as they have done in the past). My advice is to avoid watching any Penn & Teller videos prior to the show. After the show, I saw there were a number of tricks from the live show that were already performed on "Fool Us,"including the finale. On a side note, I had paid for front row seats in the Golden Circle. While the experience was worth every penny I paid, I did get upset to see that Ticketmaster lowered the prices for those seats by a significant amount a few weeks after I had purchased them.

  • One of the best shows ever

by mdkmgully on 7/5/25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The show was awesome!!! It was real, raw and insightful. The show was politically charged with an ethical take on the world at an intellectual level... and the final trick was a brilliant example of absorbing a different perspective in which a person could be easily manipulated...... LOVED IT!!!!!!
