I hate to be misled. Saying there would be small bites, but instead giving a token for one small plate of bad chicken fingers (think McNuggets) is insulting. Or a small burger no fries that would require another token, not good. The hightop seats and tables should have been available for all, not reserved.
The Carousel section was amazing and very well taken care. The only detailed was that If you did not had a table it was hard to get drinks; the bar service was understaff. They Should have added a 2nd bar. The flamingo room was disappointing. Service and Drinks where good and fast but the entertainment and food were lame. Expecting more from top notch restaurants that curated the culinary experience. Entertainment was basically a Jazz band that’s good to see in the Aman Hotel In NYC but not at the Pegasus. They could have done a better job …
The $125 general admission ticket did not even entitle the holder to a seat - anywhere in the entire venue! The races were great but without a spot to “camp”, the whole day involved moving from place to place (ie, if you had to use the restroom you had to take your things with you and when you got back, someone else had taken your spot. Not something I would do again - especially with televised races, betting apps, etc.
It was a beautiful breezy day in South Florida, my wife and I were exited on to attend our very first equestrian race. It was non other, than the very Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park! We had been here before, but not to an event like this. The atmosphere was exhilarating, ladies and gentlemen dressed in typical Kentucky Derby fashion, everyone keeping an eye on their horses and wagering bets! It was our first time betting on a horse, yet with 1/ST BET app, it made it so easy to do we actually placed more than one winning bet and made enough to pay for our whole event! The best part of course was the racing, see those magnificent thoroughbreds head to head while seeing your horse come across the finish line in the place you wagered on and the people yelling in excitement alongside had to be the icing on the cake. Definitely a wonderful exciting experience I would recommend to anyone, and we can’t wait for our next Pegasus World Cup!
