About

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024. Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service in building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs. Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

    Best performers ever!

by Miks on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

Pearl Jam has been and continues to be the best band ever. Their live shows cannot be beat. They have a way of changing up the setlist every show and keeping the most diehard and casual fans happy by playing deep cuts as well as the popular songs of old. The band also is amazing at engaging every person in attendance- from the front row to the last seat in the rafters.

It's PJ...of course it was fire!!

by kozmo on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

Moody center in Austin with Eddie and the boys. Excellent venue and an awesome performance. Great setlist with newer and older PJ tracks. Eddie sounds amazing and Mike was more guitar than man. Stellar performance by all. It was super cool having Cameron on drums again.

    So so

by Rachel123 on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

The venue itself was really nice but my seats had an obstructed view, which wasn’t mentioned when I purchased. Very irritating.

Didn't play 3 of their big hit songs.

by Lincoln on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands. Top 3. Seeing them in concert was on my bucket list...see them in concert before both Pearl Jam and I am too old. ha. But I have to admit. I left the concert feeling a little disappointed bc they didn't sing three of their biggest hit songs: Black, Jeremy, and Why Go. I listen to these songs weekly. Normally. I would say next time maybe they will play them. But this is the first time they played in Austin for over 10 years.....Cheers!

    Infuriating

by Coffeefreak on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

The venue allowed seats behind the stage (rear view) to be sold. My original tickets/purchase did NOT reveal this! It was added to my digital tickets the day of the concert! Very expensive tickets and my view was of Pearl Jam’s backs. Pearl Jam did NOT play to the crowd behind the stage either.

    Austin, night one, 2023

by Alive in Seattle on 9/21/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

Great energy and performance, but the set was way too short. There’s been a trend of shortening the concerts, but it keeps shortening instead of plateauing. I don’t expect the days of 36 song set lists to return, although it would be welcomed, but this concert only went 2 hours and 10 min.

    EPIC

    by N. C. on 9/20/23

Pearl Jam has been my favorite for as long as they have been together. I have never had an opportunity to see them multiple times in the mid west. These performances were the best and so worth the effort of traveling. I couldn’t settle down knowing that this was my opportunity to see them again. Amazing Shows!!

Since I couldn’t marry my childhood idle I at least got to go to his show. Eddie, after 33 years, PJ is still my favorite. Thanks for coming to Austin and thanks for uniting the world with your beautiful music. Keep on rocking in the free world.

    Great night with old friends

by Superdave on 9/19/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

The opening band deep sea diver they were amazing and beautiful. They started off with lights out and ending the set with eyes red which has an amazing guitar solo from the lead singer Jessica. Pearl Jam came out and killed it . They started with the song long road and ended the night with yellow Ledbetter a song I have wanted to hear live from them many years .

    Great shows

    by M. H. on 9/19/23

Saw both shows in Ft Worth 9/13 and 9/15. Incredible shows in spite of everyone being sick. Josh did a great job replacing Matt on the 9/13 show. Started a little slow with everyone being sick but after about 3 songs it jumped into high gear. 9/15 show was hands down the best concert I’ve ever gone to. Everyone was back in full form. Dickies Arena is a great venue. Whole experience was top notch.

I can’t say enough about how great this show was so I’ll keep it simple. Pearl Jam absolutely TORE IT UP even with Eddie and Matt recovering from being sick. Great set list, incredible energy, amazing audience… a phenomenal night overall!!

disappointed from a band I love to hear

by Mark k on 9/19/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

The night of our show was the worst setlist I have ever attended. Love the band and their music but they really went rogue compared to any other nights setlist on this small tour.

by Ezkibel on 9/18/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

When and how did p j go from suing ticket master to using them again? I think I paid about $25 the first time I saw them, but since they kissed and made up with ticket master I paid $25x6 what’s that about ?

    Great Show

by cmg on 9/18/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

Eddie had an amazing voice. It's nice to see artists actually playing instruments, and enjoying their own music. Nothing choreographed, nothing fake. The only bad thing about seeing Pearl Jam is you have your favorite song, everyone has their favorite song. My two are daughter and release, wish I had heard those two songs live.

    Great but sad

by Poor Music Lover on 9/18/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

I have complicated feelings about this. I saw Pearl Jam on Friday night in Ft Worth and they sounded amazing. Incredible even. But they didn’t play most of the songs I wanted to hear because they played them at the Wednesday show and there was very little crossover. When bands play 2 nights in one town it caters to the rich and the rich only. They could have just consolidated and played one of the most amazing shows anyone has ever seen. Our night really didn’t need a super long cover of “Keep On Rockin in the Free World”. Eddie’s voice is so incredible and it was still an awesome show, but in my opinion playing mainly different songs on both nights robs fans who can only afford to go to one show or the other.
