PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling â it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.Â
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.Â
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.
They kept us entertained the entire time by playing great music that pumped you up, having an entertainer that kept you engaged and by having super talented athletes that had you routing for them to ride out the 8 seconds!
This is our second time going to PBR in Portland, Maine ane we weren't disappointed! What a show!! Exciting, thrilling, some of the best athletes in the world. We had a great time~

My husband and I went Saturday night in Portland ME for the first time watching PBR live. We had a blast! It was so much fun. The bull riders are awesome! We would definitely attend another show in the future. The only con I have is that it was really loud. Not sure if it really needed to be in a smallish venue.
We are huge fans of the PBR and very pleased that they visit Maine twice a yearđ. We always attend as a family, my husband two adult kids and myself. Every minute of this event is exciting and absolutely amazing! This year in Portland we celebrated my daughters 21st birthday. Your rodeo clown who we absolutely love took the time to sing happy birthday to her. Lol. Itâs the little things like that moment that stands out and shows your fans come first. I will never have anything but the best ever reviews to give. The PBR is just the best! Thank you for that.

We have been taking Our 5 year old grandson to PBR for 3 years. He loves it and looks forward to it each year.Not only for the fast and furious cowboys on the bucking bulls but also for the patriotic theme throughout the show. He wants to be a cowboy!
Sound system to loud and light flashing got to be annoying. Bull riding was great
had a fantastic time at the rodeo look forward to next time
This was a high energy show. We loved it! Lots of cowboys, mean bulls, and cowgirls on broncs. Would definitely go to another one when it is within our area. We definitely got our money's worth the action was non-stop. Highly recommend.
So much fun to âbe thereâ in person. It was an unexpected surprise to also see cowgirls on broncos. Announcers were great and âthe clownâ added a lot of fun - time flew by! The best part was when the camera panned to two guys who were on their phone and were clueless that they were on the big screen. Clown ran up and took their phones - hilarious!! He even called one of their momâs đ
Everything was the best it could be. The seating was excellent
Seats were the best, vip was a great experience. My daughter is 14 and is a huge Matt Merritt fan. We met him in 2018 in rochester ny. she was the fan of the night he's like rock star to her. This year he gave the group tour this was totally unexpected. They gave each other high fives. He waved at her when we were in our seats. When it was over he was signing autographs we talked to him for couple minutes.She will remember these nights forever because of the pbr. Thank you. t mT
Its was a very good show except the speakers were to loud couldnât understand the announcer but overall good definitely would go again

Love PBR but that event was just TO DAMN LOUD! Never understood a thing the announcer was saying thought my chair was going to bust out of the concrete. Left early.
Overall it was an amazing event. I have to say using the tickets on the app was also sooo easy!
It was the first rodeo I had seen in this arena, I loved it! Seen a few in Texas, the lighting of the PBR was great! Sat next to a couple that had never been to a rodeo, we had a blast. I would go again! Thanks for the great time!
This was our last event if an 11 day honeymoon. It was probably one of the best nights of the entire trip. The atmosphere, entertainment from the riders, clowns and MC was perfect. The whole event was well run from parking to snack stands. Even the couple for the half time show was on point. Thank you for allowing us to join the event and we will be watching for a returning event and will be bringing an army of Canadians with us next time. Until then!
