PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.

Bull riding. Great show! Wife now wants to go to finals in Vegas instead of Disneyland!
The music was way too loud. It detracted from the actual event. The seat tickets too expensive to have my view and space invaded by drunks. Beer should be limited as there was so many drunks. Spilling beer on others and waving their beer drinks in front of the ticket holders beside them. Maybe a couple of rows on each level for non alcohol ...might consider attending more often.
This is the third year in a row that we have attended. It's a good time.
We enjoyed the show, no one rode in the final (Portland OR). It's too bad there was another show on the east coast the same day as some of the riders we were hoping to see were on east coast. One complaint, the irritating people behind us kept spilling their beer on us ... :-[
The event was great! We loved it. It was a shame it was so pricey. Loved the perks that were given to certain sections of the audience - wish we had the opportunity to follow up with how the injured cowboys were doing.
This was a Christmas gift for my fiancé and we had so so so much fun! Will most definitely be going again!
This year we decided to get front row seats but wasn’t a very good idea! The view sucks camera men block your view as well as the tubes they use for Barriers. No more front row for us.. :(
The actual event was fine. The sound quality was sub par. The announcers and clown spoke so fast it was total gibberish. They sounded like auctioneers.
Wow what a great event. The action was fun, the announcers were great. We will be back next year.
Our first ever trip to the PBR, we had sooo much fun, highly entertaining. Being in Portland, we had protestors outside, with signs about cruelty to animals...We laughed the entire show, the protestors had it exactly backwards,it was cruelty to humans..:-)...the bulls are the living the life, majestic, strong, fast, and the kings of this show. We will definitely be back next year, Thank You for a great night.
My first PBR event, didn’t know the set up, would’ve picked different seats knowing. But next year I know where to buy for because I’ll definitely be going back yearly.
A lot of times we expect our kids to lose interest, but my daughters couldn’t take their eyes off bulls and riders
Took my entire family and daughters boyfriend’s. The 7 of us had a good time and enjoyed the food and great view from our seats.
First time at a PBR event. Truly enjoyed it. Brought family along. Good event for everyone.
Great seats, good show, wonderful company! Definitely will do this again!
Very exciting and well run. We could not have been more pleased.
It’s been along time since I’ve been to a rodeo. This was a long awaited experience! I loved the whole event!
High action, high intensity entertainment. It was a great time and our groups enjoyed it. The lines moved fast and we could walk from our hotel.
Great venue, we had never been. It was perfect. The seating was good no matter where you sat. We had great tickets for a very reasonable price! Will go back for sure. Great night of action!
