Pavement Tickets

Pavement is the best band, great venue amazing set. I regret not buying tickets for the whole weekend. Long live pavement

Setting was magnificent and the band was even better than anticipated.

Pavement played an awesome show night one of their 4 night run at King's Theatre. The energy in the crowd was great, the band hasn't aged at all, and the music sounded great. King's Theatre has a great sound and is a special theatre venue for artists to play at. Overall a great night!

They played an incredible show. They had fun; we had fun; the Masonic is a heckuva theater - dripping with history. 10/10 I wish I could afford to see them in Brooklyn or Austin

We had a great time. Tickets were saved on my phone and it was seamless getting into the venue.

I never had the opportunity to see Pavement when they were releasing new albums but I can’t imagine them being better than they are now live. The set list was perfect and the energy was there.

Concert itself was great. Digital tickets with no option for resale are such a problem and prevented the show from actually being sold out. I couldn’t even give an unused ticket I had away; nevertheless, sell it to recoup even a small portion of my money. Box office had plenty of seats that were being sold up until the show even though it was “sold out”.

The show was awesome! The staff at the venue were super accomodating and their situational awareness was incredible. My group was unfortunate enough to be seated next to some unruly guests who decided to throw their concessions. Immediately the ushers were in our section removing the problem. With that out of the way the band rocked our socks off and we had one helluva good time.

First off I'll say that if I hadn't been given tickets to this I would not have gone. I saw Pavement in a small venue in my youth. I knew this would never top that experience and I was right. A venue like the Paramount is a lousy place for loud rock music. I get it. Pavement is not an arena band and they aren't a small club band anymore either. There are only so many venues a band with their kind of audience can play and in an historic building like The Paramount you can only do so much with acoustic treatment and PA without negatively impacting the aesthetics. It was not a good combination. My son and I were seated in the mezzanine and the sound was pretty lousy and very heavy on the kick drum. We wore earplugs and were some of the few people in the audience masked. Between all of these factors and the sheer volume it was impossible to speak to each other while the band was playing. Sadly the best sound I heard all night was during a visit to the bathroom where the overwhelming volume and the acoustics of the auditorium weren't fighting with each other. My son is on the autism spectrum and has lot of sensory sensitivities. The volume we both expected, but the blinding LED light show was completely uncalled for, and was a distraction from both the band's performance and the projected visuals the band provided. This was a really poor decision on somebody's part. The venue staff were a mix of friendly and oddly surly and initially we were shown to the wrong seats. Another member of the staff helped us find the right ones. Not that big a deal to me, but I think it disrupted my son's ability to settle in and enjoy the show (to the extent possible). Pavement deserves most of the credit for the 3 star rating. I feel they did their best to put on a good show and I would consider seeing them again under other circumstances. Still, we left after 8 or 9 songs. This was my son's first "big" rock show and I wanted him to remember the adventure and spectacle and not suffering through a show that too loud and too bright.

Incredible night & a fantastic show. Annalibera was a great opener, then Pavement rocked Uptown Theater for over 90 minutes with 26 tracks played. Parking near Uptown was very close & convenient, and we got there early enough to secure a front row spot in GA. I picked this show in particular because it had a general admission section, which I think should be the default for any rock show. Met so many great people, and it felt like one big party for all the Pavement fans in attendance. So glad to see them back on tour again. The memories will stay with us forever. Thanks for such an amazing show!

Amazing concert. Pavement is better than ever, and a total joy to watch. A fantastic and unforgettable experience!

The sound mix was substandard, which is a disappointment when the tickets were so expensive. The drums were lost in the mix, the bass was too loud, the vocals were hard to hear, and the entire mix was muddy. Does Pavement not travel with its own soundperon? Seems like something that should have been sorted out prior to showtime.

Volume level was great, pleasantly loud, but I could not discern any bass notes whatsoever. It was just a giant smear of bass frequencies. It was impossible to follow the first band, who I was unfamiliar with. I know Pavement really well, but I couldn’t really hear Mark’s bass. Disappointing. Maybe it’s because I was sitting in the mezzanine? Staff was friendly and venue looked amazing. Thanks!

Fantastic energy from the crowd at a great venue. The band put on an amazing show, would see them again anytime!!

the hype man was louder than anyone else. Did they do a soundcheck?

great show. lovely venue. nice drinks. security was present, but not overbearing, and i appreciate that.

From balcony left the vocals were muddy. Could not make out lyrics. Even between songs, Steven Malkmus' banter with band-mates -- couldn't make out the words he was saying. Disappointed in the sound. Big Pavement fan. $125 tickets. Wanted to hear the show. Isn't there someone who's job it is to walk around the auditorium during sound-check, then during the show to adjust levels?
