Paul van Dyk did it again - he's simply the world's best DJ, leaving Tiesto and Armin behind. Yet another well built set in NYC (although without "NYC Night" and "Let Go"...shame). The best DJ performer today.
Great set, great sound, great atmosphere...pretty close to perfect.
I have been to alot of electronic parties this year, this was the party of the year thus far!
amazing concert love PVD and ended with an amazing surprise
First off the price of ticket was wonderful, second it was in lovely central park, Just wish it had started ON TIME, not 2hours later. I really would love if PVD did that same gig again soon, I wanted to stay longer but since it started late couldnt ; ; PLEASE PLAY THERE AGAIN SOON, the cost is PERFECT to those who can't afford higher plus its a wonderful place to have a show at. PLEASEEEE gracias <3 guy on the congas/other instruments was AWESOME, it really added a spanish beat which i was surprised to hear with Dyk's songs.
Was an amazing show as always.. Will deffinitly be going every year to this one!!
The night was amazing. It rained all day but somehow PVD's performance would have made me stay even if it rained all night , which it didn't. His mixes were hot , the musician's that accompanied him were fabulous, never skipped a beat. This night will play on for a very long time....
it was amazing at the beginning was a big line for the concert but it is worted all the time spent on that line. Paul Van Dyk performance it was amazing the people the vive is different that a normal club performance and the location is perfect on the midle of central park the effects use on the corcert are amazing the ligthing is good. i love every second of that concert.
A wondeful experience, event was awesome. Weather was kind of rough but well worth it.
The show was AMAZING ! PVD did incredible job ! I was never a big fun of his till the show. His mixes were simply fantastic and everone had a great time ! The crowd went crazy during the show :) Will go next time for sure ! A+
I love Paul van Dyk's shows and this show was good but not great. The reason is it's too slow and not much hard PVD beats... So I give it 3 stars
I'm used to the annual PVD show in august as being better than the last. each year is consistently better than the last, with the exception of the current year. thats not to say it was a bad show, as it did not disappoint. the last two years, however, had a strong emphasis on live vocals and the trademark laser show. the laser show was non existent this year, and the only live vocalist was Vega 4. in short, this show was still better than most i've seen all year, but it was not as good as the august PVD shows i have grown accustomed to.
Paul Van Dyk's central park show is awesome. The whole experience make me speechless. The music are great, from the newest songs in between mixed with the oldest songs. It is the greatest experience ever, once of my life time.
THE EVENT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS FOR US! WE HAD A GREAT TIME! Can't wait till next year! :) The only thing that bothered us was the doors were suppose to open at 4:30pm and didn't open until almost 6pm.
I have seen pvd the last four years in NYC. I have also seen him in Miami during wmc. My friend and I went and we weren't impressed with his show compared to his other performances. His show just didn't seem as intense as her previous shows. Overall pvd is good, but something lacked. We even left early.
Great Atmosphere, killer drummer, thankfully it didn't rain. Sound system could have used a little more oomph. PvD at his best, even though he looked tired.
Paul Van Dyk was very good live, unfortunately though he neglected to play some of my favorite tracks such as "Crush" and "White Lies." Though he held the audiences attention with his music, I would have been happy to see him engage with the crowd more as he did not utter one word to the hundreds of people who came to see him.
Paul Van Dyk spinning in Central Park, a veritable kaleidoscope, a profusion of color perfectly synchronized to Paul’s amazing music, was the best event of the summer. I am so looking forward to seeing Paul spin again!!!
It one of the best ever. I would Recommended it 100%.
