Never thought I would get to see Paul after his show was canceled many years ago. This time I was in the front row and couldn't speak when he started walking around the audience and stood in front of me.
it was a Good Show., But I Really Enjoyed "Willie Barcena"Comedy, He Really Stole the Show that night, and of course Paul Rodriguez. Can't Wait till Next years Show,.
All but one of the comedians were pretty funny. Their material was good and delivered well. Jay Mohr was the best. One was drunk and he pretty much rambled.
Had a really good time. All the comics were funny. The field seats were awesome!
Unfortunately, since I did not get the VIP seats, sitting in the stands, would’ve normally been fine however, they left a foul ball netting up, and my eyes kept on refocusing all the netting. Plus, there was no cameras broadcasting on TV’s to see the comedians faces so I don’t really know who they were And some of the jokes definitely had some facial expressions which I could not tell. Also, if having cameras there, they could also have played it inside the tap room which would’ve made it nice while getting drinks you could still hear and see the show.
Show was good. Audio was great. Only disappointment is could not leave venue the same way I entered.
Paul was funny, kind, real, and a great performer. We enjoyed the show, and laugh for a good hour and half. Laughter is good for the soul.
My sisters and I had a great time at the show. From the opening act to the headliner, we were laughing all the way home.
Great show, funny and relevant. Great seeing an old favorite talk about his past, present, and future. Thank you Paul Rodriguez.
First saw him in either Spring ‘78 or ‘79. It was our Chicano Week event @ NMSU. Paul was our main event. I was one of two people assigned to be his hostess for the week he was here. He was “breaking into the business”, I thought he was talented then. Just saw him perform in El Paso @ Comic Strip, 45 years later the man is still amazing. 💙 “ Eres todo y mucho más!!”
