About

PAUL RODGERS IN CONCERT:

Legendary British rocker Paul Rodgers has one of the most impressive voices in rock music. From his time fronting bands like Free and Bad Company to his recent stint singing with Queen, Rodgers has remained a legend for his tough-as-nails voice and colorful showmanship. On tour in 2013, he made it clear that time has done nothing to mellow his vocal prowess, flooring fans with classic hits from his catalog alongside soul covers that showcased his prodigious range. With a new album due out in 2014, Rodgers is in peak form for his upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Middlesborough, UK, Paul Rodgers found early fame as frontman of British blues rock band Free, the outfit behind 1970 classic rock staple and international No. 1 "All Right Now." While the band's commercial success at one point rivaled that of Led Zeppelin, their star waned, and in 1973 Rodgers founded supergroup Bad Company with members of Mott the Hoople and King Crimson. With Rodgers at the helm, Bad Company enjoyed tremendous success throughout the '70s and early '80s, releasing six platinum albums and racking up some of the most beloved classic rock hits of the era. Following his departure from the band in 1982, Rodgers has continued to record and perform as a solo artist, as well as embark on a five-year collaboration with Queen from 2004-2009.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Paul Rodgers was simply fantastic. Entire band rocked! I never sat down during entire concert. The guy sounds better now than he did 30 years ago."

"His voice was amazing. Like time traveling Bad Company and Free heydays. I would see him again definitely."

"As usual Paul Rogers put on a smokin' show. He really plays for the crowd and you can tell he enjoys it. The voice is as good as ever covering all the hits from his past bands."

    "Can't Get Enough"

by Oneangler on 10/2/18Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

I have been a Paul Rogers & Bad Co fan since 1972. I always enjoy his work and am grateful that he keeps plying his craft. This show was a little bit short on duration and variety. Going longer and adding some variation off of the "standards" would have made it more compelling. Additionally, start time was not enforced so the show started earlier than advertised … painful considering the time & effort needed to park at the venue.

Paul Roger can still do it

by GK17 on 10/2/18Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

Paul still sounds great but at $50 -$150 per ticket show was too short (60 mins) - disappointing.

    Paul Rodgers Timeless Classic Rock

by dalotheman on 10/2/18Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

This was the third time for me. Great venue with comfortable seating and tons of energy. The show was spot on with perfect mix of music and good length. I’m always left wanting one more tune.

Paul Rodgers delivers an outstanding performance!

by RockChic1 on 10/9/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

I am of a certain age and love to see concerts of the music that I listened to in my teens and my 20's. Fortunately many of these bands still tour and perform. I go to many concerts and Paul Rodgers was the best I've seen in a long time. Rodgers connected with his adoring audience. He was fit and energetic while moving all over the stage and interacting with the audience. He played all the favorites of Bad Company with his super tight band. The entire crowd sang along with him. It was an amazing concert. He's a pro that appreciates where he came from and knows what his fans want to hear.

    Paul Rodgers at EQ

by Catfish63 on 10/7/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

The iconic voice of 3 chart topping bands landed at EQ in Fife, WA for a packed crowd. The stage lighting and sound were spot on. Paul Rodgers performed chart topping hits like "Feel like making love", "All right now", and "Shooting Star". The musicians accompanying him were technically amazing and made the 4 piece band sound like 7! Go see Paul Rodgers if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed.

    Show was great, however

by Getagripon on 10/5/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

Show was fantastic, however my girlfriend was a little disappointed because she was unable to enjoy the show as much due to visibility. When people stood up, she could not see the stage.

    Paul Rocked It.

by CCRockit on 10/4/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

Wow, he was really great. I have seen a lot of older bands and although he did forget some words to one song, he was one of the best. Will see again and again.

Paul Rodgers voice is pure MAGIC!

by OjaiNative on 10/3/17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

The Voice! Truly amazed at how beautiful the mans voice is. You must catch him live, he puts on a brilliant show with the best musical talent (Howard Leese, Todd Ronning) backing him up.

    Another Great Paul

by Jagmel on 10/3/17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

Paul McCartney, Paul Carrock, Paul Rodgers, I'm convinced if you want your kid to grow up to be a great rock vocalist give them a head start by naming your boys Paul. Paul Rodgers is one great singer who can hold an audience spellbound which is what he did at the Hard Rock casino. With a great catalogue of songs to draw from he rocked the crowd with Bad Company favorites, plus songs from his other collaborations (Free, The Firm) and had people out of their seats singing along all night long. Not to be missed if he shows up near you. Jacko

    The good and bad

by Duckf on 10/3/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

The good, started on time. The bad only played for 1 hour 15 min. Paul's voice I'm sure was still epic, unfortunately the mix man had the the guitar and bass cranked up and Paul's voice was basically drowned out. We paid close to 300.00 to get in the first 10 rows (2 tix) I was still humming bad co. Songes for the next few days but can't stop feeling a little short changed.

    Paul Rodgers

by AllyMadBimbo on 10/3/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

I've seen Paul Rodgers 6-7 times in the past 10 years and this was my favorite show of them all! One of--if not THE--best voices in rock, and he just seems to get better all the time! His band is phenomenal...Howard Leese on guitar doesn't hurt! The sound at the Emerald Queen Casino was amazing for this show!

    Paul still has it!!

by JohnWise on 10/3/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

Paul's in great physical shape, moves like a rock-star, and sings as good as ever!! Rarely at the end of a show do we say "I'd watch that whole show all over again"...WE said that and meant it!!

    Amazing!!!

by cneajna on 10/3/17Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

I've been a fan since the early 70's but have never had the opportunity to see Paul Rodgers perform live. I was not disappointed. He is one of the few lead singers whose voice has actually gotten better with age. It's mellowed in a way that adds to the songs rather than takes away. Now that I've seen him once, I hope I get another chance to see him. It was a great concert with a nice mix of songs from his career.
