Rocking show from beginning to end! By my count 35 songs, Beatles, Wings, and solo creations mixed in from All My Loving through emotional renditions of My Love "for Linda", to Something "for George", to Here Today "for John" and off into some of the best all time loved songs (Let It Be, Hey Jude, Yesterday). Paul and his band let the music take the lead while his genious in communication whether through instrumentals, lyrics, or audience interaction left us feeling like we are all part of Paul's family. His wit is still off the charts, and his musical skills are honed to such a sharp edge that the bands interaction is a freeding frenzy of rock n roll joy. Sitting with my twenty-four year old daughter gave us the chance to see generations sharing a magical, musical moment together was astonishing. Infants, teens, young adults, and seniors with grey or white hair, sensitive guy pony-tails were standing on their feet mixing dance moves spanning fifty years of movement evolution while mouthing words that might have been written almost half a century before many of them were born . WHAT a sight to see! Paul's voice, strong, sweet, rocking, and moving had no perceptable troubles moving from screamin rock (Live and Let Die, Helter Skelter) to ballads (Blackbird) or through any exercise he put himself or the audience through... even audience response drills.
A fantastic show for music lovers of any age, bringing the Past alive, the Present electric, and the Future memories of having been in the presence of one of the greatest musicans of all time. THANK you Sir Paul for Up and Coming to PIttsburgh!
