Patton Oswalt continues to leave his distinctive imprint across all areas of entertainment, from his award-winning comedy specials to his many guest roles on television. His most recent comedy special We All Scream (which also marked his directorial debut) launched on Netflix last September and Oswalt was recently nominated for a Grammy for his comedy album. Last year, he starred in the Magnolia Pictures comedy I Love My Dad, winner of the Grand Jury and Audience awards at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
Oswalt was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for his performance in Jason Reitman's film Young Adult, starring opposite Charlize Theron. In 2009, he also received critical acclaim for his performance in Robert Siegel's Big Fan; the film was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and Oswalt earned a Gotham Award nomination for his performance.
Oswalt has appeared in many films, including The Circle, alongside Tom Hanks, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Zoolander, both directed by Ben Stiller, Steven Soderbergh's The Informant with Matt Damon, and alongside Seth Rogen in Jody Hill's Observe and Report, as well as Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia and Todd Phillips' Starsky and Hutch.
Oswalt's past television work includes memorable roles on Parks and Recreation, which brought him a TV Critics Choice Award, A.P. Bio, Veep, United States of Tara, Seinfeld (his TV acting debut), and many more. He is also very well known for playing 'Spence' on The King of Queens for nine seasons. Oswalt is also the narrator on ABC's hit comedy The Goldbergs. He provided the voice for 'Remy' the rat in Pixar's Oscar® winner Ratatouille, and his other voice credits include 'Max' in The Secret Life of Pets 2, Sorry To Bother You, the SYFY series Happy!, Rick and Morty, Archer, and BoJack Horseman.
In 2020, Oswalt's Emmy nominated Netflix special I Love Everything was widely applauded upon release, and he received a Grammy nomination for his comedy album of the same name. In 2017, he received Grammy and Emmy nominations for his album and Netflix special Annihilation, which addresses his own devastating loss and dealing with the unexplainable, while making it all painfully funny. In 2016, he won the Emmy for 'Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special' for his sixth comedy special Talking for Clapping and a Grammy Award in 2017 for his comedy album. He has been nominated for a total of six Grammys and four Emmys. Oswalt has shot eight TV specials and released seven critically acclaimed albums -- in 2009, Patton received his first Grammy nomination for his album My Weakness Is Strong.

Patton's the man! Another great show, and his material is flawless right now. Go see this show if you have the chance.
You have to love a show that brings a rockstar home to happily remember where it was he came from.
It is incredible to me that Patton Oswalt is only commanding about half the ticket price as Lewis Black. Black is funny, sure, but Patton Oswalt is at the top of his game and is the funniest comedian working today. He hits all the right notes, using fantastic original material in gut-wrenchingly funny ways. Even old chestnuts, like jokes about wearing sweatpants, are appropriately meta and take on new meaning with him.
I laughed so hard I almost wet my pants several times.
I've heard Patton funnier. There was no consistency at this show he was all over the place and every once in a while a little funny mixed it. Opening act was hilarious!
The venue, warm up comic, and most of all Patton were all fantastic. A great show.
If you get the chance, go see Patton Oswalt. He is the king of visualization!
Patton, as always, was hilarious. I went to his show at the Lisner (which became his taped special) and I knew he was going to be better at the Warner. He interacted with the audience this time around, showing his great improv comedy skills, and I am now thoroughly convinced that he is the greatest living stand-up comedian we have.
He is THE comedian for our post-modern, pop culture saturated, morbidly obese, sexually frustrated society.
Normally love the guy. Forgive me but this event was not just not fun. we were a party of 4, and none of us thought it was good. In fact a couple of us fell asleep. we also noticed others in our area that were nodding off. the show started at 11pm instead of 10p. First guy was the best, real funny guy. blue brothers terminex guys, what was that??? not funny at all. As for Patton, well lets just say it felt like he was phoning it in, tired from all "the Con" stuff maybe. to much going nowhere bantering with audience members, which sucked if you were up stairs cause you couldn't hear what they were saying. no actual funny stuff, or act, just a lot of talking about "The Con" . like I said we normally love him, but will not be going to see his live act again.
Patton Oswalt is sheer hysteria! He continues to unleash a comedy onslaught on his audience and we love him for it.
Big Patton fan, glad to finally get to see him live. He was super funny!
Great show, would definately pay to see him in the future.........
Kyle Kinane as the opening act was ALMOST as funny as Patton Oswalt, and that's saying ALOT! Saw Patton 2 years ago in Seattle and only heard one repeat bit. Laughed so hard my face hurt and my eyes watered...absolutely hilarious!
The show was great. Patton was awesome. He did a ton of new material, but was also able to please the crowd by doing some of his older, more popular bits. He was able to take the newly developed Lebron James moving to Miami situation and turn it into a very funny bit. The opening comedian was also very good. 54x54 pizza skit was hilarious. Would definitely recommend this show to anyone who enjoys a good comedy show.
An amazing, hilarious show performed by pound-for-pound the best stand up comedian working today!
I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. What a hysterical show.
Patton was just as funny as I expected, which was great. What I didn't expect was for him to tell so many of the same jokes/stories that were in his act over 1 1/2 years ago. It would have been great for him to bring new material. It seemes as if he didn't have anything planned and just started taking recommendations from the audience the last half hour. Also, as an Akronite, I didn't appreciate the LeBron James bashing, although I understand it was easy material for Patton as the show was the day after LeBron's decision to leave the Cavs. In closing, Patton is hilarious...he just needs to sit down and write some new material.
My friends and I are big fans of all of Patton Oswalt's comedy cds. We enjoyed hearing his new material- his bible as a book like Harry Potter bit, his billionaires are like babies bit, his sweatpants bit, his rom com movie bit, all of the Lebron James leaving Cleveland stuff, and his nod to Michael Simon of The Food Network and Cleveland fame. Patton also gave us a few of his greatest hits, which were fun to hear, but not as exciting as his new material. I encourage everyone to go to his website and check out all the fan art. If you haven't heard his comedy cds- just try any one of them- they're all great- you'll be hooked.
