PAT GREEN IN CONCERT:
Classic country boy and proud Texan Pat Green loves his home state and he's not afraid to show it. With songs like "Texas on my Mind" and "I Like Texas," Green brings a little slice of the Lone Star State to the table no matter where he's playing, always treating fans to marathon sets of no-frills country rock. With a new album tentatively titled Home set for release in 2014, Green's fans can expect a first listen of some new material alongside all their favorites at his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in San Antonio, Green got his start as a performer playing shows at small bars and clubs around Texas Tech University while earning his bachelor's degree. After graduating and committing to music full time, his increasingly popular shows attracted the attention of Willie Nelson, who brought him on tour with several other country legends in the late '90s. Following three self-released albums and a 2001 major label debut, Green hit the big time with 2003's "Wave on Wave," which went gold on the strength of its title track, a Top 3 country hit. Pat's next four albums all performed well on the charts, displaying the same love of country and state he's become known for and building anticipation for the 2014 release of his eleventh studio album.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Pat knows how to keep a crowd entertained, whether it's through singing his heart out or interacting directly with the crowd by teasing and even coming out to say hello! They played for about two hours straight and it was a great show!"
"Pat is a great entertainer! He always sounds just as good in person as he does on his CDs. He is very comfortable on stage, seems to have a great time. His interaction with the crowd is really fun"
"Pat's charming and funny! Great show! Could not stop dancing and singing along!"
I decided to get tickets for this for our anniversary and we had a great time. These two guys are great together.
I saw Pat Green in concert many years ago when he opened for Rascal Flatts. Seeing him again now in 2017 as the main act was a very good concert. His music sounds great and I enjoyed his band. Glad to see Pat singing 2 older songs “Wave on Wave” and “Let Me” The opening act Casey Donahew Band was also good. First time to see them in concert but the fans around me knew their songs well. Irving Plaza is nice venue to see concerts.
My husband and I has such a good time. First Pat Green concert, we had heard what a great entertainer he was and went to see for ourselves..It was awesome. Will definitely be on the look out for more of his concerts in the future.
Enjoyed the show. But the band was louder than the singer was, making it difficult to actually understand Pat Green singing. I want to hear him sing and not be drowned out by the band! Other than that it was a great concert. BUT PLEASE LOWER THE MUSIC SO WE CAN HEAR THE MUSICIAN! *******BEWARE *********** We were not provided the seats we selected and paid for. The venue did not care and was very rude stating "Oh well we do not guarantee seating that Ticketmaster provides, even tho I provided the print out showing they were not what originally was purchased according to the seating chart. According to the seating chart the tickets were on the inner isle but we were actually seated on the outer isle to the left of the stage. THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING! to say the least.
Great show! He played all his best stuff and He sounds almost the same as he did when I saw him 15 years ago.
My husband and I are great fans and was really disappointed when he didnt sing our favorite song, Dixie Lullabye. The music was too loud that killed his voice, he deserved to be heard.
My boyfriend and I traveled from Houston to see Pat Green. We both grew up listening to him and his performance brought back so many wonderful memories. The venue was perfect size and the sound quality was perfect! His performance was outstanding and the music never stopped!
Pat Green was a Great , his interaction with the crown was great. The sound was very bad for about half the concert then got better in the end. The mix of was off and the vocals were hard to understand for the first 3 songs. After that they got better the last couple of songs were the best. It started off bad the the bad, the band getting on the stage late and tuning during the first song.
I had little experience of Pat Green but I really enjoyed the show. Acoustics at the Golden Nugget were not so great on wings.
I thoroughly enjoyed the opening act, Kyle Park. Kyle Park and his band played several songs and my favorite song was Rednecks w/ Paychecks. After about a 20 minute intermission, Pat Green and his band took the stage and rocked the Chavez Theatre. Great music, great entertainment, awesome bands, a fun night and I sure hope Kyle Park and Pat Green will return to El Paso again in the future!
Horrendous. Worst show ever. Three opening acts. The third opening act played for almost two hours and sucked. When they finished they acted like they had just conquered Madison Square Garden. In the mean time, the crowd had gotten so inebriated, that the staff couldn't keep up with the drunks. By the time Pat Green got on stage, he was drunk. He wandered through the opening songs of his set list and I left so I could catch a train by the fifth song, totally missing out on the person that I paid to see! My future concert money will be going to another artist and I hate that, because I am a huge Pat Green fan.
I have never been in a venue with so many idiots that can't walk through a crowd without bumping in to each other. Too many drunk people stumbling around. They need to put walking lanes on the floor to ease traffic to bathroom/bar. It was ridiculous. Pat Green was great as always. Awesome concert ruined by stupid posers who don't know how to act or walk in public.
It is always great to hear great Texas Music / Red Dirt music, especially way up here in New England, and Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, and Pat Green delivered! Wade Bowen opened and put on a great show. While only playing 35 minutes the songs were great and the time flew by. There was a quick change between sets and then Randy Rogers Band delivered an outstanding 70 minute performance. Another quick change between sets and then Pat Green delivered another memorable performance. His charisma and stage presence are hard to beat. I almost felt like I was back in Texas! I needed that!!!
Pat Green put on a fun and relaxed show full of audience participation and great music. Sharing the night with Randy Rogers Band and Wade Bowen made it seem like the Super Bowl of Texas country. We had an amazing time and got to meet members of all the bands after the show. See them if you get the chance.
Show was pretty good. WBowen and RRogers killed it. Pat Green was absolutely gassed. Sound quality not so good.
Pat Green put in an amazing show. It's the first time I've been to a concert with no opener, just one band on stage, I was pleasantly surprised. I've always loved Pats music and seeing him live was awesome! Sounds better live than recorded.
Who knew Pat Green was so funny??? He played for almost 2 straight hours, which included lots of old favorites as well as some newer songs. GREAT show!
Pat Green did not disappoint!! I've had mixed experiences at this venue. It's a far better experience whenever I am able to get tickets in the front half.
Pat green was awesome. Still lots of energy and sounds great. Buckhead theatre great venue.
Everything about the night was great!! The venue was a perfect size!! The opener Hudson Moore was amazing!! There was not a lot of time between acts which is very nice! Pat Green put on an incredible show!!
