About

PAT GREEN IN CONCERT:

Classic country boy and proud Texan Pat Green loves his home state and he's not afraid to show it. With songs like "Texas on my Mind" and "I Like Texas," Green brings a little slice of the Lone Star State to the table no matter where he's playing, always treating fans to marathon sets of no-frills country rock. With a new album tentatively titled Home set for release in 2014, Green's fans can expect a first listen of some new material alongside all their favorites at his 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in San Antonio, Green got his start as a performer playing shows at small bars and clubs around Texas Tech University while earning his bachelor's degree. After graduating and committing to music full time, his increasingly popular shows attracted the attention of Willie Nelson, who brought him on tour with several other country legends in the late '90s. Following three self-released albums and a 2001 major label debut, Green hit the big time with 2003's "Wave on Wave," which went gold on the strength of its title track, a Top 3 country hit. Pat's next four albums all performed well on the charts, displaying the same love of country and state he's become known for and building anticipation for the 2014 release of his eleventh studio album.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Pat knows how to keep a crowd entertained, whether it's through singing his heart out or interacting directly with the crowd by teasing and even coming out to say hello! They played for about two hours straight and it was a great show!"

"Pat is a great entertainer! He always sounds just as good in person as he does on his CDs. He is very comfortable on stage, seems to have a great time. His interaction with the crowd is really fun"

"Pat's charming and funny! Great show! Could not stop dancing and singing along!"

  • Big energy in a great venue

by SB on 2/26/239:30 CLUB - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

DC came to party and represent Texas. JAB crushed it and the crowd was into the show. The energy and vibes got even bigger for Pat Green. The energy stayed up all the way to the end at 11pm with Pat closing with Wave on Wave. 9:30 club staff showed why it is still a premiere venue.

  • New years eve @ ACL

by Guitar_mann on 1/4/23Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

This was the second time I've seen Pat Green in Texas. He did not disappoint either time. It was the first time I had ever seen a show in ACL and I had waited a lifetime. A wonderful New Year's Eve with my wife and son who is stationed in Texas. My wife does not like country music but all three artists were pop and rock enough for her to enjoy. All the artist entertained.

Pats story telling is always entertaining. The night ringing in the new year was fantastic.

  • Disappointing Concert

by Smith on 1/3/23Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - AustinRating: 1 out of 5

We were very disappointed with this concert. The first group, Kodi West, was not what we expected. Honestly, we have never heard their music and was more heavy metal. The second group, Corey Kent, was very good. Pat Green's behavior was very strange and his vocals were hard to understand. We feel like we wasted our money and left the concert early.

  • The venue in the sound system, or set up perfectly.

Pat Green put on a show that is great for all ages, it is great for people who like upbeat music, it is great for people who likes substantive songs. It is upbeat, funny and fun. It’s a great place to spend New Year’s Eve. With a great family man.

Great experience! I had no plans for NYE 2023. I looked on line to see what might be happening in my area. Saw Pat Green performing in Austin on NYE night. I look for ticket availability. Ticketmaster showed up as having seats available. Purchase was not only easy, but FAST. I liked the experience of using TM to purchase these tickets, as well as purchasing other tickets for other events during this time of the year. Will return and use TM again. Safe, fast, serious for online ticket buyers like me. jr

by Matt on 1/3/23Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

I love the ACL Live venue…it is my favorite place to see a show. I’ve been to several concerts there. It’s just so clean, the staff is so nice, and it’s very intimate. Also, was my fourth time seeing Pat Green, and he never disappoints. Great songs…I was a little surprised he didn’t play more off of his new album, but people always appreciate someone who sticks to the so gs they know lol.

  • Greene show was stellar

by Fwtx on 11/30/22Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

First ever Pat Greene show and certainly not the last for us! Small venue was perfect and this was a band that knows how to play. Incredible live show. The guy is a true Texan! (That said, there certainly were a few people that were over-served alcohol. So that needs to be cleaned up.) We are fans! Both of the new Tannehill Hall venue and Pat Greene!

  • Perfection

by Clay on 4/26/22Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

The venue ACL moody and Pat Green I can’t give enough stars and accolades to. However, ticket master is a cumbersome and expensive mess. After you buy the tickets better seats come up. Not through secondary but original seats. So you sit where they want you to sit and then they put better seats up. As far as Pat Green’s concert goes it’s the best I’ve ever seen. The entire audience was with him the music was fantastic and I can’t wait till he comes back.

  • Rockin show

Fabulous venue. Cory Morrow and Pat Green rocked ACL Moody Theater. And raised money for the red kettle. Well done!

  • Two great Texas artists!

by TL on 12/8/21Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Cory was great, Pat was comical. He had partied a little too much. Overall it was a great concert. The music mix was good but the vocal mix could have been clearer.

  • Good times

  • Pat Green awesome, venue awful

by Erika on 6/18/19M Resort Spa Casino - HendersonRating: 3 out of 5

seats with a majority of people sitting and unable to stand and dance like you typically do at a Pat Green concert...fail. Most people were gone before half the show was over.

by Arkham on 3/10/18Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing one of my family’s favorites, Pat Green, at the Birchmere was an awesome experience! My children and I got there early to get seating up by the stage and it was definitely worth it. My kids had the time of there lives!

  • PFG shouldn’t be I’m seated venue

    by Beater3 on 3/10/18Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 2 out of 5

As always, PFG was great. But the seated portion of Birchmere isn’t very conducive to his type of show.
