Pantera is a heavy metal band formed in Arlington, Texas in 1981 by brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell, and is currently composed of vocalist Phil Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, and touring musicians Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. After a number of buzzy releases throughout the 1980s, the band dropped their breakout album, Cowboys From Hell, in 1990, which established Pantera as leaders in the groove metal genre. The first group to land an extreme metal album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, Pantera were hailed as torchbearers of the genre, paving the way for a long and successful reign that included two subsequent albums and four Grammy nominations. The pioneering band has sold over 20 million albums over the course of their career and are credited as a musical inspiration by many acts in the metal space. Pantera entered a hiatus in 2001, and shortly thereafter, founding member Dimebag Darrell was killed onstage in 2004. A new era began when surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown returned to the road in 2023 for their first tour as Pantera in over 20 years. Now, the band is set to embark on a 2025 outing, titled Pantera’s The Heaviest Tour of the Summer.

Pantera is BACK!!! The show was amazing!! Zakk and Charlie paud perfect homage to Saint Dime and Saint Vince!!!! Loved EVERY minute of it!!!
Overall it was a great experience. The only qualm was the "seating". It would have been much more enjoyable at the Giant center. The GA area was awful. As someone who is 5'4"it was terrible trying to see anything. You could barely see see the bands or the LED screens.
Had a great time, show was awesome!!!! The best was getting free seat upgrades when we arrived. Thanxx so much, will be back in Sept for Rob Zombie 🤘
Hello - the show was great but 2 African American employees (one skinny and one heavier set) decided to take cash giving other access to the pit who did not pay. I normally would not care but for 190$ a ticket I shouldn't need to deal with an overcrowded area because these employees wanted cash. The show was amazing but wanted to give this feedback.
The show was great, with a lot of energy and volume, but with all three of the bands that night: Child Bite, Lamb of God, and Pantera, the vocals were drowned out by the instruments. Was it the facility?
Pantera and Lamb Of God are great live bands. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. The venue was in a really nice area, great place to spend the evening :)
Loud and sounded Great! Pantera, Lamb of God and Child Bite rocked!
It was a great experience. It was easy and the process from start to finish was smooth. Pantera absolutely rocked! The only problem is that it is just so darn expensive. The last time I saw a concert at Montage Mountain was in 2002 when David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar toured together. With how expensive it is, it will probably be another 21 years till I can save up enough money to afford to go there again.
Got to see Pantera in 1992 and they were great. Fast-forward 31 years and they still have it as a band. Phil's voice was loud and powerful. The band overall was bad ass. Hope they keep this going and if we're lucky, maybe they'll record some new music together. Fingers crossed!
Pantera was absolutely phenomenal! They exceeded my expectations by so much and I can’t wait to see them again! If anybody is worried about Phil, no need, he was actually the star of the show and that is saying a lot, because Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benanti on drums, along with Rex on bass is certainly by any definition a super group.
Solid Rehearsed Performance. Would like a bit more looseness. Mix up the set List. Cool venue if you don't mind walking a Country Mile on A fire road! Zakk could have and should have plugged into 1 Marshall Stack on stage that's all. Not a huge fan of guitars plugged into the board...I'm old school I guess...
It was one of the best shows i have ever seen!!!!!!!
From the curtain drop to the end, I was blown away. Zakk and Charlie brought nothing but pure love and energy for the brothers. Phil and Rex sounded amazing. 100% will be seeing them again If they do another tour.
Great show and sound. Phil and the band sounded great. Only issue was lack of bathrooms. Port o John's were mostly used and not nearly enough at the up front areas. I'm sure this was due to space issues. However if there is a fully sold out show here, even the ones I walked up to at the lawn would be quite the wait. Waiting is no issue but when you miss half of the set that is.
The concert was amazing but ticket master sold me a platinum 1st party ticket to a seat that didn't exist so I stood in the isle where the seat should have been. I most have been told 20 times to get to my seat and every time I showed that the seat didn't exist I just got told it's not there problem get out of the isle. But pantera and Lamb of God were amazing no complaints there.
I’m not a big metal head but my dad is and always has been. Took him for his bday and it was an AMAZING show. Even as someone who isn’t into metal, I was having a blast. They put on a great show and I might be more into heavy music than I thought. Glad we could bond over this and have a memory we’ll never forget.
Great experience. Top to bottom. Paid for the VIP park . Awesome. Venue was great The artists were top notch brought their A game and put on a great show. They were thoughtful and genuine.
Cowboys from Hell (or what’s left of them) were out of this world outstanding! I haven’t seen them since 1995 or 1996 and it was outrageous! Rex was kick ass, Charlie kept the beat ridiculously, Zak brought his own unique sound and well, what do you say about Phil? His singing is a little deeper, but he’s still just as angry as he ever was! Excellent, excellent show one of the better ones I’ve been to this year. Lamb of god opened and they were also fantastic! The pit was full of the AARP and Geezer age crowd…so not a lot happening there… but it was still pretty cool. There was also a real good vibe in the venue of some type of old school metal community where are the majority of the audience was age 50+ and brought their kids, which was awesome 👏🏼 Word on the street was when Pantera and Metallica were together on some shows? Pantera blew them away. I also heard that you need to get your Pantera T-shirt merch early, because it sells out before the band even comes on at some venues. So if you are fatter and older like me? Get your T-shirt soon 😆 We stayed until the last song-thankfully the band didn’t take one of those 20 minute make the crowd wait for an encore. I think they played 15 songs minimally pretty much straight through. Very little chitchat and a whole lot of music!
Concert was awesome!!! Played all the hits !! Not the original but just as good loud and proud !!!
Pantera was pretty good but honestly LOG & Snafu were hard to understand!!
