Pantera is a heavy metal band formed in Arlington, Texas in 1981 by brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell, and is currently composed of vocalist Phil Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, and touring musicians Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. After a number of buzzy releases throughout the 1980s, the band dropped their breakout album, Cowboys From Hell, in 1990, which established Pantera as leaders in the groove metal genre. The first group to land an extreme metal album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, Pantera were hailed as torchbearers of the genre, paving the way for a long and successful reign that included two subsequent albums and four Grammy nominations. The pioneering band has sold over 20 million albums over the course of their career and are credited as a musical inspiration by many acts in the metal space. Pantera entered a hiatus in 2001, and shortly thereafter, founding member Dimebag Darrell was killed onstage in 2004. A new era began when surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown returned to the road in 2023 for their first tour as Pantera in over 20 years. Now, the band is set to embark on a 2025 outing, titled Pantera’s The Heaviest Tour of the Summer.

Dime & Vinnie were done proud by their replacements. Enough said.
My group was entertained that I brought my own snacks to the Pantera and Lamb of God show but I had apples, mangos, peanuts, and a ham sandwich while other people were giving each other concussions in the mosh pit. Nice venue.
All the controversy over it’s not pantera well it’s as close as we’ll get unfortunately dime was cut down and Vinnies time caught up with him .but like it or not Phil is the voice of pantera and he was spot on and we have Rex who’s bass was thunderous and Zach was on the mark I don’t think Zach is trying to be dime but honoring his greatness .again I’m a huge pantera fan and with out these guys out there honoring the brothers the best can some of us including myself would never have this experience one of the best shows I’ve seen rest in peace vinny and dime god bless Phil and Rex thank god for Zach
The guys put on a great show! I got a little teary eyed during Planet Caravan. Had a great time as always.
So great to have opportunity to see them play. Honestly one of the best times I've ever had.
Never thought I’d be able to hear Pantera live, thanks for making my dream come true. RIP Dime and RIP Vinnie
It was a pouring rain kind of night in Syracuse, New York. Child Bite came on and finally left. Then came Randy BY-GOD Blythe and his merry troupe of musical marauders to blast all of us in a Reality Bath! Excellent show for sure. Finally, Pantera…… Finally after years of noticeable and painful absence, Pantera…. I can not tell you how great Phil, Rex, Charlie, and Mr. Z sounded! It was a perfect set!
Bands were great. Sound was great. However, there should be wristbands for each section along with wristbands for drinking. Having to show your phone over and over again, in the pouring rain, was ridiculous.
Pantera puts on a great show. Lots of "older"bands play fewer songs and talk more to save their voices, but not Pantera. They still got it and kept the songs rolling one after another. One of the best shows I've been to in a while 🤘🏻
Best show ever , hope to see them again if next time I'll be in the pit .
One of the best concerts I’ve ever been too…Tool and this concert by far the best
First time seeing Pantera, it was worth the wait it would’ve been great if both of them were their but fate had different plans😢
We had Pantera meet and greet that was good. But the stage played instruments from Willie Adler and Art Cruz from lamb of god was an amazing experience! Great guys! Also saw and met backstage Joey Belladonna of Anthrax! Great guy also! The personal assistant Shane Webb for the lamb of God vip stage played instruments was awesome! We felt like rockstars for the day!
Amazing show. Venue needs to take cash and not charge so much on drinks
Phil, Rex, Charlie and Zack do a great job of giving us Pantera's music 20+ years later. Beautiful tribute to Vinnie & Dime! Set list was great, lots of energy from the band. Happy I'll be seeing them again.
Incredible. Phil still got it and it felt like an authentic Pantera show. RIP Abbot bros :(
Syracuse NY show was great…and Joey Belladonna made a cameo too! (He’s from the area and may still live there) What made it even better was the available upgrades to seats from the lawn! (It was raining, so that definitely swayed my decision) For an extra $60, my sons and I went from the grass to Section 103, very close to the stage!
This was the best concert I’ve ever been too. I had the time of my life.
Pantera was awesome the majority said they would suck without dime bag and vinny Paul the majority was dead wrong!!!
To date, The best band I've ever seen live & I've seen over a hundred concerts, shows and events. Lamb Of God was there to support the Thrash Metal Supergroup. I thought they were incredible as well. PANTERA tore the house down and melted my face.
