Over the Rhine Tickets

OTR seems to become more refined, more nuanced, and more of an experience to be a part of, every year. Karin's voice only gets more beautiful, this year bringing me to a bit of a weepy eye, during "The World Can Wait", and Linford's playing more expressive and heartfelt. Admittedly, they are not your "happy, joy ,joy"Christmas duo, but I wouldn't miss their Christmas show for anything!!!

Food was good and service was excellent. The sound in the room was warm and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful show at the Birchmere. I always enjoy coming to this venue as there is great seating, the food is good, and the waitstaff is wonderful.

They always put on a wonderful show, but what a lovely intimate experience here in Virginia! I am used to seeing them at the Taft in OH which is wonderful, but I thoroughly enjoyed this small space and the playlist was superb mixing music of old and new! Thanks for great show!!

Over the Rhine's performance was hands down, the best! The lighting and sound was good plus the venue itself was clean and was not overly crowded. Also, I appreciated that there were Covid-19 precautions put in place, which allowed me to attend. Thank you for caring!

This was our first visit to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Liked everything about it except one thing. The parking was great, getting into the Hall was easy, the ushers were helpful, the bathrooms were nice sized and clean, and the band was excellent. The only issue was seating. The seats are actually worse than those on an airplane. They are so close together that I had to turn partially sideways to fit between the people on either side of me (and neither was oversize). One other issue that I just remembered. Our seats were in row G and on the side near the refreshment area. Many people elected to stay in the refreshment area during the opening act. Their conversation was easily heard over the performance.

Venue, Atmosphere, Employees, Opening Act and Main Event were perfect. Seats are not the most comfortable but you get very close to your neighbors.

We drove three and a half hours to see Over The Rhine knowing it would be well worth the journey and we were not disappointed. First of all The Ponte Vedre Concert Hall is one of the nicest small venues I’ve ever been in and in 50+ years of playing and listening to music I’ve been in many. The acoustics and excellent sound system brought out the best in the band and you could have heard a pin drop during the quieter passages of the songs. This was one of those special evenings where you just felt privileged to be there. Five stars aren’t enough for this one.

This was the first time ever seeing Over the Rhine. Actually the first time at the theater also. Over the Rhine definitely has two more new followers. As well as the Lincoln theater.

I am a long-time fan of Carrie Newcomer, and had only a passing familiarity with Over the Rhine. Carrie's mesmerizing alto voice and her thoughtful lyrics are familiar to me, so I greatly enjoyed her part of the concert like I would enjoy a long conversation with an old friend. Over the Rhine was like discovering a new love - that intense emotional state when everything is new and exciting. Their musical style is a lot like Carrie's, but with a bit more edge. The Pantages Theater was a perfect venue for both artists - acoustically alive to accent the beautiful vocals and lush instrumental accompaniment. It was a completely satisfying and memorable evening well spent.
