About

Orville Peck on Tour

Mysterious cowboy rocker Orville Peck and his band perform a theatrical version of vintage country music: Sequins, fringe, big hats and the singer's trademark masks, which obscure his face both on stage and off. It's no staid night at the saloon - his backing players are Toronto post-punk band the Frigs, and Peck performs his nocturnal, road-worn songs with bravado. After touring alongside indie-folkers Lord Huron in the beginning of 2019, Peck set off for months of headlining shows in America, Canada and Europe. His festival bookings include Austin City Limits, London's Visions Festival, Washington's Thing, North Carolina's Hopscotch, Nashville's AmericanaFest, Norway's Oya, Sweden's Way Out West, Texas' Trans-Pecos, Pitchfork Paris and Iceland Airwaves.

Orville Peck in Concert

Who is that masked man? Enigmatic troubadour and outlaw country sensation Orville Peck emerged in 2017, a Canadian cowboy who's part rodeo, part Twin Peaks. Though he prefers to keep his identity a riddle - photographed and performing exclusively in one of his fringed masks - Peck has admitted he's played in punk bands in the past, and was a fan of Johnny Cash, X and Neil Young. Released in 2017, his debut single "Dead of Night" was a twilight pick-up truck drive through 1950s twang, '90s dream pop and contemporary indie rock. He promptly signed to esteemed independent label Sub Pop, which released his 12-song debut album, Pony, in 2019. Painting himself as "psychedelic outlaw cowboy" who "croons love and loss from the badlands of North America," Peck sings deeply personal stories and songs under haunting, nostalgic reverb. His debut made an impact thanks to its gauzy textures, vivid storytelling and queer narratives that subvert country masculinity. It made such a splash that Pony ended up on the long list for the Polaris Prize less than two months after its release.

I had a VIP ticket and it was the best concert experience of my life....and I am in my late 50s! Mr. Peck is brilliant, a fantastic performer, funny and sweeter than a tank full of sugar!

  • AWESOMENESS!

  • Love of my life

by Max on 6/14/24Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This man’s seriously the best, got there early enough to stand maybe 20ft away from him the entire show and loved it. The vibe was incredible, he’s a great performer and boosts everyone’s mood. Absolutely looking forward to him coming to Minneapolis again in the future so I can score VIP tickets.

  • First time at a Country Show

    by Mau_Xam on 6/14/24Armory - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

It was good overall! The performance was well designed, with mid-tempo and up-tempo songs. Less dancing than I hoped for, although the vibe was more emotional than energetic or thriller. I would recommend Orville Peck for Queer people, as his music really speaks to the heart of everyone there. His voice is magnetic, and he really connects with the audience. I wish there had been a couple dancers, and the lighting was a little lack-luster. 4/5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Orville Peck delivers again!

by Chopper on 6/14/24Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The Orville Peck show at the Minneapolis Armory was outstanding! From the great Club Level seats at the venue, to the great opening acts (Debbii Dawson and Durand Jones) it was a perfect night. And of course, the fantastic Orville Peck and his band were great as always. An excellent show!

  • An amazing musician & performer

by Dillon W on 6/12/24The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

If the voices and talent of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson were combined in a lab (and sprinkled in some Liberace for flair), you’d get Orville. Even though I’ve heard his music on Spotify before, I was still blown away by his talent and his voice. This concert (Cincinnati on 6/8) was 100% worth it and I will go see him every single time he’s back in my area. Even if you’re just a casual music fan looking for a concert to go to, I highly recommend seeing Orville because he is just so damn entertaining. Additionally, his openers (Debii Dawson and Durand Jones) were insanely talented and had AMAZING voices. I would’ve paid just to see them perform. 1,000,000/10 recommend seeing an Orville Peck show to anyone!

  • Wonderful concert!

by Cindy on 6/10/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Orville was great! Beautiful voice, high energy show. I had the best time. Durand Jones and Debbie Dawson were awesome, I was really glad Orville chose them for his tour and I got the chance to see them. I had just about given up on country, especially with some of the negativity going on. He is what we needed. Go see Orville!!

  • LOVE HIM!

    by Abbey C on 6/9/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen Orville about 3 times now and I will continue to see him as much as I can! He is so talented and sounds amazing in person! I just saw him in the pit for the first time back in Charlotte and it was the best experience ever!

  • We didn't go

by Romeo Girl on 6/7/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 1 out of 5

Thought this would be a good event because we wanted to see Durand Jones, but turns out that Orville Peck was the headliner. Did some research on Orville and didn't like his style so we opted to sell tickets and skip the event. Sorry Orville!

  • Great music and summer fun

The music was wonderful, they did a great job. Both the singer and band were awesome.

  • Great concert.

by PC on 6/7/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Wife and I loved it, absolutely loved the show. Orville Peck and his band put on a great concert. They are really good live, and a very tight band musically. Orville Peck seemed genuinely happy by the crowd response, and the Meadowbrook fans showed him and the band a lot of love. My favorite song "Let Me Drown"was not performed, perhaps next time. I hope to see them again in concert in the future.

  • Great Venue & Show

by Christian on 6/6/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Easy to get in, had great seats, bathrooms were clean and easy to get in and out of, staff was helpful. Could hear well in section 6. Great place to see a show. Orville Peck was excellent.

  • Great Show!

by Michael M on 6/4/24Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great concert. The venue was ridiculously strict about silly things when the venue wasn’t sold out. They needed to calm down and let the crowd enjoy the show. Orville Peck is such a great performer.

  • Love love love!!

This was an amazing concert in a great outdoor venue. I have zero complaints. Go see Orville! It’s SO GOOD!

  • The energy was infectious

by Benny on 6/4/24Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This show was a 10/10. Great open air venue on a very pleasant night. I can only speak for my experience but my tickets were very affordable, especially since it also got two excellent openers Debbii Dawson and Durand Jones on top of just an electrifying performance by Orville. Orville Pecks voice live is something to behold, there is no loss in power and range from what you hear on the albums. The show was fun and wholesome and I saw people of all ages there. I will definitely not miss another chance to go to another one of his shows.

  • So memorable

Staff was super friendly, entry and exit was smooth. Ameris supremacy, however.
