Super Bowl Opening Night was a frenzy of fun! Me & the fam would go every year if we could!!!! What a way to jumpstart the festivities!!!
See and listen to the stars of the super bowl, before the game, while also having ability to take pictures with logos and blown up replica of trophy, and NFL players. Overall different entertainment. Could have used more games for kids to do, but enjoyable experience.
This was a great event to attend to see both teams. Sound could have been better when the on stage interviews were happening. The individual interviews with the earpiece provided - great concept, but the channels weren't correct with the people listed and some just plain didn't work.
State Farm Arena provided excellent viewing to see the players! However, it would have been even better to get autographs and or pics with the players.
There should have been specific location and time for fans to take photos and receive autographs.
The ad says you can see your team up close. Your not close and only get to sit on the arena seats while you see 2,000 media interviewing the players. You don’t have any interaction with the players. I felt it was misleading and definitely not worth going too.
Enjoyed listening to the players from both teams sharing their excitement about the game & potential stars to look out for.
Cool experience ! Pretty nice sad the Falcon wasn’t on the super ball price of food was crazy
We had a blast - the State Farm Arena is a great venue - besides having a really good set up for observing the media day crazy in the arena floor, there were a bunch of food and drink options and a great DJ playing. The headsets worked great and *most* of the even staff were very helpful Now- The organization was really lacking. As a person on crutches I had quite the walking night - was given bad directions on 3 different occasions by staff. The line to check purses was a block and a half long with only 2 people working it - and it was outside and it was cold. The handicap seating in the arena was given away to non handicapped people making it so I had to hop down a couple of steep landings on crutches - def not fun.
I feel like I was taken for my $$$$. I expected more interaction. Not that of the Experience, but certainly more than what I paid for. The player interviews were cool to watch if you could get close enough to see and hear, but outside of that there was really nothing going on. The food was overpriced and of poor quality, which I was quite surprised at because when it was Philips Arena the food was awesome. There were a few photo ops and meh DJ, but the rest was quite boring. Security wouldn't allow any pictures to be taken when the players came out, which disappointed many people. Many people left and went to Centenial park because that was were the excitement was.. fool me once, never twice !
I purchased 4 ticket for opening night because the information provided was misleading. I expected standing in line for hours but thought at the end of the line I would be able to get Rams players autographs. My son flew to Atlanta from Boise Idaho to attend the event and get autographs. The 4 of us took shirts, hats, banners and signs. We were able to get a wristband. Even then, I thought we would be a select few that could get autographs. As it turns out, there were 0 Rams or Patriots players available to fans. We have been Rams fans for 40+ years and Atlanta residents since 2011. I am not even sure who was providing autographs. Falcons? Legends? The wording on the ticket sale promotion should have been more clear. I would have saved $1000 and bought an autographed item somewhere else.
First time going to a Super Bowl event. It was cool being in the room with the players, even if that room contained 10k other people. The event didn’t seem to be catered much to the fans. There was very limited player interaction with the fans and everything seemed to be more focused on the media. I know the media is the star but with such a large turnout there should have been more fan interaction. The ushers/security were helpful and nice. Definitely a cool experience if you get a cheap ticket but don’t expect any extras like swag, meet and greets, or talking to anyone other than fans.
I had a great time celebrating with patriots fans.
Being in the stands to see the Lombardi trophy along with the star players was truly incredible. The one thing I wish was that we were able to go on the floor. Being in the stands definitely had a feeling of exclusivity, because most of the media people aren’t famous. They’re just normal people like us trying to build a story. I think if you could sell floor tickets, but prevent them from answering questions, I think it’s a game changer. The fomo I had from not being able to be on the floor and actually hear the players interviews rather than listen to our little radios could’ve made it that much better
I visited Opening Night with my Son. Was disappointed with the whole format having visited the SuperBowl experience before the Opening Night. We had great time at SuperBowl Experience. My Son was very disappointed as he was expecting a closer interaction with player and some Autograph time.
My wife and I really enjoyed attending the opening ceremony at STATE FARM AREA..Everything was state of the art and Fan Friendly .We were in Houston for Superbowl LI . Atlanta is Awesome !
My sister, my son and I attended on Saturday, Jan 26th. It was such an awesome event. From seeing football players like Michael Vick, to the various activity stations and seeing all of the football memorabilia, we had an awesome time! We were able to shop for Superbowl LIII items and meet with CBS 46 news anchors too. Pizza Hut gave out free pizza and we got little trinkets from the different activity stations too. We really had an awesome time... We actually stayed from 1:30 til 9:30. Yes an 8 hour workday!! I would do it again!
It was like the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, you do it once. There is really nothing too spectacular about this event, but it was cool with everyone in the building.
Loved being able to hear every player and get an overhead view of the event. Would have liked clearer communication this event adhered to the NFL's clear bag policy. I had to stand in a LONG line, with other fans who didn't "get the memo" about the policy, to check my bag for an additional $5 over the ticket price.
The new stadium is really nice! Lots of entertainment for all ages. I think this was a nice touch to kicking off Super Bowl LIII weekend.
