by WillieMillie on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

From the opening number to the fabulous We are the Champions finale this concert event was an exciting night of music that brought Freddie Mercury back to life and made us relive Queen's music for an exciting 2 plus hours.

    Excellent show and production

by CYBEROCK on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The band brought Queen back to life and many good memories of the era. The audience was up rocking most of the performance. Good value. Excellent venue!

    This was Terrible!

by ptatl on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This was little better than a poor lounge act in Vegas. The music mix was terrible with the band overpowering the vocals. One of the worst shows of this kind I have seen. Queen was done an injustice.

    One Night of Magic!

by Gatohead on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

From the time they hit the stage to the time they finished, Gary Mullen & the Works had people singing, clapping and dancing with a fine tribute to Freddie and Queen! Gary did a great job showing Freddie's strutting, vocals and attitude. The band was outstanding in their performance, laughing and smiling, showing they were having as good of time as the audience. They played many of the hits and a few lesser known songs, keeping us engaged throughout. I had the pleasure of seeing Queen 7 times and this show did not disappoint. I was stomping, clapping & cheering wildly most of the time and had a huge smile on my face when I wasn't doing the others. The lighting reminded me of my favorite tour. My only disappointment was that the show had to end!

    A Night of Queen

by bihorn on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

A very good show, a talented singer and band, great lights, and, of course, music by Queen. Probably the best one can ever do for Queen now.

One Night of Queen is simply amazing! Gary Mullen portrays Freddy Mercury unlike any other impersonator. His band is unbelievable as well. He has the audience from beginning to end. I would recommend anyone who enjoys the music of Queen and Freddy Mercury to go and see this band.

    Terrific

by hozzie on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

I had never seen the real Queen before, so I wanted to find someone at the show who had. I found an English gentleman who saw Queen 3 times and he said if he closed his eyes, then he could not tell the difference in the music. That was good enough for me. Highly recommended for a very fun, raucous evening.

Gary Mullen was awesome. He is literally just like Freddy Mercury! I felt as if I was watching Queen themselves.

    Queen Rules!

by Galivantin on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Saturday's event at the Cobb Energy Center was a lot of fun. The crowd truly enjoyed the music. The age range was wide and everyone has a blast! Are there any plans for other tribute bands? How about Elton John?

    Queen Lives!

by Acworthwacker on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Gary Mullen really thinks he is Freddy Mercury and after a couple of songs he has you believing too! Speech pattern, mannerism's and astonishing voice complete the package. Backup musicians were all very good, especially the lead guitarist. Only improvement would be to turn up the lead guitar to Brian May volume. We saw the original Queen at the Omni 20 plus years ago and these guys did them proud!

When I bought the tickets I thought that it was a cover band of Queen songs. I didn't realize that they were impersonating the band, so I was taken off guard. However I was quickly swayed - the music was wonderful and the Freddy Mercury lead was awesome! Fun for us all!

    Awesome Tribute Band

by Mom23Katz on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The seats were great and the performance was awesome. The show started out a little slow, but when "Need Someone to Love" was performed, the mood changed. It was hard to believe that one was not actually listening to Queen.

QUEEN Fans - Do Not Miss!

by JeanW on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This show was amazing! It was very easy to forget that Gary Mullen was not Freddie Mercury. His stage presence and style perfectly emulate the late music icon. Even though Mullen's vocal range does not reach 4 octaves like Mercury's, his voice is pitch-perfect and eerily identical in every other way to Mercury's. The entire band is extremely talented. The show was well-attended by all generations and everyone was dancing and singing along the whole time. We are so glad we went!

    Awesome Family Show

by Jagger12 on 5/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

I took my family (wife and 11yr old daughter), we all enjoyed it very much! Great theatrical performance. I saw Queen in the 70's and never got to see them again, so this was a good chance to experience the music live once again. Good set list, good sound and excellent entertainers. If you can't see the real Queen this is the next best thing. You won't be dissappointed.
