Absolutely horrible venue for a festival.

by Boogiedown on 9/16/14Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood - Atlanta

The lineup was fantastic. It would've given it 4 stars, but the venue was horrible for a festival. The transition between artist was difficult with the stage set-up. They needed an MC to introduce the artist and interact with the audience. Change venues.

Great concert with amazing acts. Didn't like the venue or all its rules that weren't wholly enforced. I would attend again if the venue changes.

This was an awesome event and this year's line-up was especially impressive. My beef, however, is with the beverage and food vendors selected for this event and how it was managed/setup overall. First, the food trucks were located away from the main stage and there weren't any obvious signs that directed people on where to go if they didn't want food from the concession stands. Once you found the food trucks, the options were diverse and tasted amazing!!! As for the concession stands (not the food trucks), their soda machine ran flat and you didn't find this out until after waiting in line in the hot sun for 30 minutes, people stood in the same line(s) to order food and get refills on their drinks which made it exponentially longer to get simple items. Last, some of the concession stands ran out of paper to print receipts for card transactions, but neglected to announce this information to the masses of people waiting in line, so you found this out once you got to the counter when they requested cash only. Like I said, the acts were amazing, but the food and beverage management which is a part of the overall OMF experience, was horrid. What's especially agitating is OMF had strict rules on what you could and could not bring to the event which excluded you're own food and drinks, chairs, etc., so you couldn't avoid the inconveniences listed above. I'd still recommend supporting OMF, but again, this was my one beef!

    Mediocre at best

by BigBlue86 on 9/16/14Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood - Atlanta

Everyone was waaaaayyyyy late getting on if they went on at all. The Kendrick Lamar show I had high hopes for but put me to sleep, literally. NAS did his thing though.

    One Music Fest

by bigstace7 on 9/16/14Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood - Atlanta

I traveled from NY to ATL to check this show out and this event was one of the best I have attended this year. I was introduced to new artist, Daley, and I was introduced to new music from other artist, Kendrick Lamar and Jhene Aiko, that I have heard of but I had never really taken the time to listen to their catalogs. The best by far was Nas. I have been a fan of Nas' since illmatic so it was very nostalgic to be there as he celebrated the 20th year of that album and to be a part of his pre-birthday celebration. His catalog and career have been awesome.

    Unorganized

by Martie2014 on 9/16/14Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood - Atlanta

This year the event was horrible. No schedules to inform you which artist was on and what stage. Stages were very far from one another. The venders ran out of coke products and what remained was not cold. This event was so great last year and this year it was the total opposite. If it is at Lakewood again I will not attend. The masquerade venue was nice and well organized think about taking the event back to midtown.

I really, really, really love this Fest! This is my second year going. The artists are great, the venue was great, the food was great. I only wish there were more time inbetween sets becuase I missed most of kendrik lamar's set trying to grab some food
